Yesterday was one of the toughest days I have ever had to endure. Our 14 year old lab Misty was ready to be at peace, the decision was extremely difficult to let her go but we could tell she was tired and was ready to continue her life in heaven. I cannot thank Dr. Sprague and her staff enough for helping my family through this incredibly difficult time, Dr. Sprague and Michael came to our house after a very long day at the clinic and showed some much love and care to our dog Misty and My Wife who was at home alone and not handling this decision well. Misty is at peace now and this post will help me with the grieving process by sharing my gratitude for some very incredible people, Amber you are an Angel for coordinating the home visit and helping my wife through so much sadness. My Family and I have used Pipe Creek Animal Clinic for Better than 20 years and they have always offered the Best Care for our dogs. Thank you All for helping my family and I through a very difficult time!!!!

Dr. Sprague has been caring for our pets for more years than I can remember. She and her staff are caring and gentle beyond compare.

Took our doggo yesterday for rabies vaccine. I was a bit worried because she usually doesn't like anyone else. She gave licks to everyone there and they were awesome to my kids and I! Glad to have found a vet office we trust in town. Prices were great, people were great, and it was clean inside !

This was the 2nd time I went there to check for a microchip on another dog I rescued off the highway, and thankfully they connected me with the owner. They are always friendly and willing to help and it's free of charge to check for microchips. Everyone should chip their pets and if anyone rescues any they should check them too so they can hopefully be reunited with their families. It's so easy and free, and this is a great place to go for that.

On May 10, 2024, I accompanied Minnie Colston-Fish, my border collie to the Bandera Veterinarian Clinic to refill her medication. This visit was necessary after Sarah, the office manager at Pipecreek Veterinary Clinic, informed me that due to my social media post about my experience with them, I was no longer welcome as a client.
Afterwards, I had a conversation with Dr. Sprague, the veterinarian, who took the time to listen to my concerns. I requested that Minnie's records be transferred to Bandera Animal Clinic.
The staff at Bandera Animal Clinic were not only professional and friendly, but they also treated Minnie with the respect and care she deserves. This was a stark contrast to the treatment we received at Pipecreek Animal Clinic. The staff at Pipecreek Animal Clinic had the audacity to pick a capstar out of Minnie's vomit and force it back down her throat without my consent, trying to block my view in the process.
The experience at Pipecreek Animal Clinic has left a lasting impact on me. The image of the staff mishandling Minnie is something I cannot erase from my memory. Sarah, in particular, has always given off negative vibes. When I mentioned that I would be ordering flea and heartworm prevention from Chewy, her demeanor towards me turned hostile. She rolled her eyes, shot me a disapproving look, and made a condescending sound with her tongue.
Overall, the professionalism and compassion shown by the staff at Bandera Animal Clinic have restored my faith in veterinary care. I am grateful for their understanding and dedication to providing quality service.

Of the 3 nearby clinics I contacted, Pipe Creek Animal Clinic was the only one that accommodated my pet with an appointment the next day. After an exam, and several tests it was determined that our pet had a serious infection. Antibiotics were prescribed and they highly recommended that she get an ultrasound. They arranged that with another specialty clinic within a few minutes after the exam.
The vet was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional ... as was the staff. I felt they showed sincere concern for my pet. Our vet recently retired and we are considering them as our primary vet.
