“The sky was really nice. He did my brakes. He was honest about the price. And did a good job. He also has cars here for sale. If anyone's interested, I'm not sure about prices, but he has cars and seems to be a very good mechanic. But in business for a long time. That's what I liked about this place. Because we are new in town and don't have a mechanic. So I've been trying a couple of places including this place and I'm happy with the service that I received and customer service which isn't really customary in the auto-repair business. L, o, l, but customer service was good and he answered my questions. He also takes credit cards for a $3 charge. I believe if you only have a major credit card to pay, so that's nice. I only needed the same day or 1 day appointment to get in, so it's not super busy. Definitely call ahead, though. He has about 15 cars and trucks out there for sale.I don't know prices on any of them but they seem decent and he says there's nothing wrong with any of the cars that he has out there.So that's good.”

“Our teenage son was driving from Cimarron, NM to Beaumont, TX after a summer job, and broke down in Plainview at 5:30 on a Sunday evening. Johnny Cash Towing highly recommended Mackie's and we're so grateful he did. Johnny's dropped the truck at the shop Sunday night, then first thing Monday morning, Mackie sent someone to his motel to grab the keys, and they got right to work. His motel was not close to the shop, so later that day they also gave him a ride to the shop when he had to check out of his motel. It turned out to be a bigger job than anyone expected, but they worked late for 2 days to get it finished, going above and beyond, knowing he was stranded with no transportation. Outstanding customer service!!”

“Excellent service! We were stranded between Lubbock and Plainview with a busted tire on New Years, and calling every place we could to find a tire at a store that was open on the holiday. I didn’t even leave a voicemail while trying to find a place, and he called me back immediately! Was able to replace our tire in just a few minutes, and had us back on the road shortly. Great experience!”

“Our 2019 BMW X-3 was damaged on a vacation. Alderson recommended Lubbock collision repair shops, but we went with Apex. They did an excellent job and coordinated the electronic resets with Alderson without asking. Seamless, great service. Always the challenge with staying local is — can I get as good of service as I could get in Lubbock? The answer at Apex is “yes”. Stay local! Special kudos for Jerry Santos.”
