“As a Hispanic grocery store I love the variety of items they offer. The Mexican bread I did not get to try this time. Last time it was decent. I would get it if I was going to eat it that day. We did however try the hot foods they had to offer. I ordered the green chilaquiles and carnitas plate with rice and beans, and my husband ordered 3 pork tamales. We had thought to buy a dozen tamales but decided not to after trying them first. The flavor was ok, but to us was lacking a little something. They were good though, just not for us. The carnitas we added a little salt which is fine, they were also a bit on the dry side with too many pieces of fat. The chilaquiles were good however have through, the chili gets to you, it’s just too much. They were very tasty though. Rice and beans ??. We did see workers enjoying their lunches there so maybe stop in and ask what they suggest before you buy. Oh, you need to pay for your meal at the cash register before you can order meal. You just give the person at the food counter your food ticket with your order.”
