I LOVE Evalene's! I have been coming here since the mid 80s as a child, browsing with my grandma. I have such found memories of this store. I don't live nearby anymore but when I'm near Plainview or Tulia I always stop in Evalene's to grab some gifts and nostalgia.

I really like this store. They have a lot of cool stuff even for men, like in the BBQ/cooking area. BUT, I was told that I could not enter the store without a worthless mask due to COVID. Even though I had at least 200 bucks to spend just for the hell of it. Oh well! Big Plate in Lubbock is better and they don't discriminate against folks who have medical issues that can't wear these pointless masks.

This place is so neat. I come from a bigger town that does not have these cute little shops anymore. Most of their stuff was unique and very fairly priced. They have a huge selection. We roamed around looking for quiet a while. The staff was helpful. It was a great place to shop for a couple of gifts that I needed.
