I had a knee replacement that became infected with staph (MRSA) So they took out old metal and put in a cement spacer. I also was told that I would have to have IV antibiotics 3 times a day for 6 weeks. The hospital after a week made arrangements for me to go to Plainview Healthcare Center. I live with panic attacks and depression as well as anxiety disorder. When I found out I was going to have to be out of town in a strange place, with no family around to see me except for on a weekend, I was upset. When I got there I had panic attacks for the first two weeks. But the staff there would always take a few minutes to listen to me cry and console me. I didn’t know how I was supposed to make it through 5 weeks away from family. And get this knee to work with me until I’m healthy enough to have the 3rd surgery. These men and women that work there are absolutely heaven sent!! From the office people, therapy, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance and the entire nursing staff gave me such comfort and showed me so much kindness and love 💕 that I now think about and miss them everyday, now that I’m home. They treated me like family. I became very close to many of them and miss them daily. I wish more facilities were like this one!! They are angels sent from heaven. It is a wonderful place!!!

They treat everyone like family one big family Housekeeping works hard to make sure the place is clean and does not smell bad. The kitchen serves on time and if you don’t like what the main dish is they have alternative dishes and will try to make something you like instead. The therapy department works with the residents on short term and long term stays to help them have more strength to complete things on their own. Nursing assesses their residents all the time to make sure they are doing well communicating with the doctors, other staff, and families to make sure their stay here either short or long term is a great experience. Activities encourage everyone to join in on the fun experiences parties for every occasion, games, church service, one on one activities for those who don’t want to leave their rooms.The administration staff works with other staff, families hospitals hospice etc so that everyone is on the same page for the best care possible. This is a wonderful place to stay either short or long term. Go visit and speak with their friendly staff

I just wanted to take a moment to share my wonderful experience with Plainview Healthcare Center. The nursing staff truly goes above and beyond for my loved one, taking the time to provide exceptional care and support. The activities coordinator is a ray of sunshine, always optimistic and wearing a big smile, which makes such a positive difference in the atmosphere.
I've also heard great things about the therapy team—they work really well with the residents, and I’ve seen so many successful discharges, which speaks volumes about the quality of care.
I can’t forget to mention the business office and Human Resources; they’ve been incredibly helpful with Medicaid applications and are always there for us whenever we need assistance.
Overall, I’m just so pleased with everything the facility offers. I truly appreciate all that they do!

Plainview healthcare, is a small building and i really enjoyed the place. Always clean, and i really enjoyed hearing good comments from the residents and family members about the building! There is always something fun going on in activities! Plainview Healthcare is the place for my family members when it comes to be. Staff is always friendly, and very caring! The food is good, and it feels good to be around people who treats you like family! From nursing staff, housekeeping, maintenance, dietary, office staff and activities! My prayers are always with every employee, for God to fulfill his purpose with everyone with the good care the residents deserve!

I can't say enough about the amazing care my loved one received at Plainview Healthcare. The staff were so caring and attentive. They always went the extra mile to make my loved one comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and I'm especially impressed with the weekly activities program, which keeps residents engaged and active. I highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.

Plainview Healthcare Center has taken good care of my Dad for the last 2 years. I don’t know how we would have made it without them and their care. The entire staff has been so supportive, they truly care for those who live there.

Our mom fell and broke her hip, then needed rehab after having surgery. Someone recommended this facility for the physical therapy and incredible staff so we called and were immediately assisted with having her transferred there. The admission process was quick and easy — which is a rarity, but the young lady that handles all that definitely knows her business. Honestly, I didn’t realize there were still facilities like this one left out there. I was an RN for 40 years and left the medical field after becoming disheartened seeing workers lose their compassion and empathy for patients—and lose pride in their jobs. This place is like a big family taking care of family. Same faces. Same smiles. Everyday. And everyone really good at their job. From admission to discharge—nurses, aids, therapists, cook, housekeeping, etc. Just everyone. They even helped her celebrate her birthday. She was so happy. And she progressed so quickly. She was able to go home (living alone) and take care of herself earlier than anticipated. She wasn’t even sure she wanted to leave when they told her she could go home. She made the comment that she had never been to a place where not one worker seemed unhappy to be there. We agreed. Fast forward five months, she fell again. Broke her other hip. Bet you can guess where she wanted to go. So once again she’s admitted to Plainview Healthcare Center, and you wouldn’t believe the reception. Everyone came by her room to say hi. She was smiling ear to ear. So wonderful to see her that happy. They also have long term care there, so if she ever needs that, I’m pretty sure we know where she will want to go.
If you need somewhere for your loved one to go for rehab or long term care, or if you’re not sure exactly what your loved one needs, call these guys. They will help you in any way they can.
