I usually don’t leave many reviews on Google or any other social media. For me to leave a review (positive or negative) a business has to be either five star or one star. Plano Athletic Club is by far a 5 ⭐️. I would have given it more, if I could. I am a hospital based physician who has been practicing in DFW area for over 30 years and I have watched many physical therapists work on my patients in the hospital. I originally joined PAC in 8/2022 after sustaining injury to my left rotator cuff at another facility while I was working with a personal trainer. I asked for a trainer who specializes in corrective exercises. I was originally assigned to a trainer who was very knowledgeable but after having continued pain in my left shoulder, I ended up having an MRI which showed a tear in my rotator cuff which required surgery in 5/2023. Per my surgeon’s recommendation, I had to put my membership on hold for 4 months (I was assigned to a physical therapist by my surgeon during this time, which was a total waste of time and money). When I returned to PAC in 9/2023, my previous trainer was not available anymore and they assigned me to Stacie who specializes in corrective exercises. From day one, he has been by far THE BEST personal trainer I’ve ever had. He is very professional and during my entire sessions with him, he doesn’t keep his eyes off my body movements, especially my shoulders, just making sure I strengthen my muscles properly without injuring them again. Unlike some other trainers which I’ve had in the past (not my previous trainer at PAC), I’ve never seen him texting his friends/ other clients during my training sessions with him. He dedicates his entire time to me. He has been better than my physical therapist whom I stopped seeing over 2 months ago. Stacie has given me instructions for home exercises for my shoulder and now my shoulder’s strength and range of motion has improved by almost 90%! I recently purchased another extensive package of training with him which should last me over 3 months and I plan to renew it again at that time. I would not hesitate referring any of my patients or colleagues to Stacie. He’s by far 10⭐️.As far as the PAC facility itself goes, it has the best / well maintained equipment and it’s very clean. The staff at the front desk are always extremely professional/friendly and they are always available for any help/questions. I’ve been to several fitness centers in the area as a guest and I personally believe PAC is by far the best in Plano / North Dallas area.

Would give them 5 stars, but when I joined ( on Sept 23 I was told the gym closed at 10pm. No issues (sauna, gym etc, been leaving at 9:30 to 9:59pm, until Feb24, the new attendants seem eager to go home, constantly reminding people of closing times in the sauna / pool area) first it was at 9:40pm that the constant harassment started; then last week the gym posted that the sauna/steam room closed at 9:45pm. Now the harassment has been forwarded to 9:20pm… Management needs to fix this. Great gym, but people expect closing times to be honored for all areas, as any change affects people with a tight schedule.

One of the best gyms in Plano! Clean facility, updated and well maintained equipment. They also have an outdoor workout area complete with racks, barbells, and dumbbells. Recovery equipment and pool are also included. The team is super friendly and helpful. Members are respectful and there to workout. Highly recommend!!

I was looking for a gym that had a wet and dry sauna and this one came up on Google. I toured the facility and noticed the equipment is nice and new and there is tons of it. Many different options available, classes, massage chairs, etc. Very clean and well kept. I definitely recommend!

I have had the best experience at Plano Athletic Club, it’s an amazing gym! From the friendly front desk staff to top notch amenities this is a great place to work out. It is literally the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to! I’ve had three personal training sessions with Keegan, and he is professional and a blast to work with. Keegen took me through a consultation to discuss my goals and provided a personalized fitness routine and nutrition tips. During our sessions Keegan guides me through each exercise to make sure I don't injure myself and coaches me through the proper technique. He is the best! I especially love the recovery options like the hot tub and hydro-massage chairs! I can’t wait for my next workout!

Been going here for a couple of years now. Love the facility, and they have really good equipment. Tried branching off to other gyms closer to my house and they do not compare. I am willing to make the longer drive every day with no problem for this gym. The only thing I would say is, I wish they were open until 10 on Friday and Saturday. Ton of amenities for the price you're paying.

Nice place to be: Clean, specious gym with friendly staff, various equipment, a big neat pool, and changing rooms. I would highly recommend to consider improving 2 things. Closing Time and Spa equipment.I think if you want to compete with the big gym chains you should rethink your timing and also your spa area this would be very beneficial for new members.Hit like if you agree about this:To Work till 11 PM every weekday and at least till 9 PM on weekends will make a huge difference. As the same as if you can consider adding a body massage chair like in the picture below.

Such a great gym with the best people! I trained there for almost a year and worked with Desi (personal trainer). I highly recommend working with Desi 1 on 1 if you wanna see results. She is super knowledgeable and great to work with!

Last straw at Plano Athletic club today. Show up for a work out at 11:00 and was notified at 11:58 that they were closing at noon (and not when I walked in which would have been extremely courteous). The reason was that they’re keeping their schedule in line with Plano schools. Sorry, I’m not a member of the Plano school system. An email was not sent to notify me ahead of time either. Although PAC was decent, but the people side was hit and miss. Less than friendly (except Keegan!) and some of the TV’s are usually on the blink (and usually they’re all tied to one station across all TV’s). Cancelling membership today (via email since they’re not open).

I sincerely enjoyed my time at Plano Athletic Club. The facilities are state of the art and the equipment and spaces were always clean and in good condition. The front counter staff were very welcoming and personable. In a sudden change of events I had to cancel my membership with them. They were very easy to work with and went above and beyond to make special accommodations given my unique situation. This was DEEPLY appreciated and I would proudly recommend this athletic club to anyone!

I joined about 4 weeks ago and I got the summer special package which included 4 sessions with a personal trainer and 3-month membership. I got paired with Keegan and 2 days ago was my last session with him. The program he put together for me in these 4 sessions is what I was looking for in training, such as circuits, supersets with pulsive reps, EMOM, Tabata, and finishers/burners at the end of the workout. This tested my endurance strength and heart rate. I highly recommend Keegan or any personal trainer there for your next training session or goals you want to achieve.From management to the trainers, and the front desk staff (shoutout to Chris at the front desk for the club tour, very chill guy), they are by far the nicest and most knowledgeable staff in the business today. Such a family vibe as soon as you walk in the doors and the facility is a clean and comfortable spacious gym for everyone beginners to professional athletes to train. I was hooked on the outdoor fitness space and amenities they provided at PAC. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PAC to anyone I know, it is a one-of-a-kind fitness club in Plano. This gym is my home!! I’ve been consistently going 3-5 times a week for 6 months now and this gym makes you feel like family. They are clean, have friendly staff, and have all the gym equipment you could think of. They have added a few new machines just in short time I’ve been here!Alexis is THE BEST trainer!! She is very knowledgeable in how to train for every personality/body type. I’ve had amazing results with her! I lost 20 lbs, 4% body fat, and 7.5 in off my waist in just a few months!I’ve been to several gyms the past 10 years but I can truly say hiring a personal trainer + the atmosphere of this gym is what has kept me consistent and given me real results!! I highly recommend!
