One week ago, we observed water coming out of the unit next to ours and discovered our storage unit was flooded. We immediately contacted the office to report the flooding, as it was apparent there were several units impacted. We have requested information about where the water came from and how our unit was flooded - it is an interior unit with no walls on the exterior. Nothing. We asked for the district manager to contact us, and have heard nothing. The employees on site have no information and as of Friday, nothing had been done to find the cause of the flooding. The only communication I have received from Public Storage is an email advising a rate increase of almost 20% on the storage unit. Seriously.

The facility is clean and spacious. Andrew gets a 5 star rating himself for being friendly and going the extra mile when I had to arrive after the office closed. He was super knowledgeable and had everything prepared when I arrived. It's a great place for location and price. - Mike Moore

Very up-to-date. However, no one ever answers the phone when you call. They don’t return any calls. And there is never anyone working in the office. There is no way that you can actually talk to someone to rent an additional unit inside of the same building that your current unit is in. This place is horrible

I have autopay and it says my code is not working. How is that possible? I would understand if I didn't pay but I'm paying. Wasting my time and money. Even my tap in through the app isn't working. Plus your doubling my rent ? Save money and rent somewhere else

This location is nice in terms of location. It is close to major intersections but in a fairly uncongested area so it's easy to drive in and drive out.On the other hand, the management of this site under Public Storage is HORRIBLE. The main access doors are frequently broken, for months the bathrooms were locked. Because of the ongoing issues and the situation described below, we are moving to another better run and less expensive storage location.This past weekend, July 21-23, main doors were wide open for at least 72 hours. That means the tenants could get in, but so could anyone else. Just drive up and drive in. Or walk up and walk in.This morning, July 24th, the entry door was wide open. The "exit" door was open but the arm was down. Feeling lucky, I drove that way to exit, punched in my code, drove up to the arm. Nothing. Backed up, coded in again, drove up again. Again nothing. So I was forced to back up turn around and drive out through the wide open entry door.This is on the heels of Public Storage raising our July rates by more than 30%.Their motto is "We treat your stuff like our stuff".I personally don't leave my garage door wide open for days at a time.

WORST storage unit ever. The office is NEVER open. People just leave random belongings in the common area for weeks and there is no staff to clean it up. Must download their app to do anything and the BESt part is that the phone number listed on the door is disconnected. Good luck contacting a real person at this facility.

Let's just say that I am woefully disappointed. I choose this facility due to the close proximity of where I live and for the "reasonable" price for a climate controlled unit. What a bait and switch! Today I get a notice that the rent on my space is going up to $196 (from $150). Really! I've only been in my space 5 months and recently got another unit with you guys! I moved from another storage company that I had been with for 3 years because they went up to an ungodly price. I had heard such great things about Public Storage but as stated, I am woefully disappointed in the price jump. I understand that prices increase but for new customers, that sort of jump is ridiculous. I read the contract and know that they have the right to change their prices at any time, but in less than a year?? So for anyone who reads the reviews, watch out. Don't fall for the cheap discount when you rent your unit. They make up for that later. It seems like everyone is price gouging these days. I guess that's the new norm for customer service.

Their "climate controlled" units are like 90 degrees. The drive-through design is terrible - limited parking and the "drive-through" gets clogged with vehicles blocking access to the exit. Good luck trying to get a moving truck through there.

Shocking. In 1 year & 4 months, same unit jumped 81% (near double; let's round to +$100). *Zero* changes to unit/space. Last visit, tipped past broken glass on the floor, no nearby areas to place any waste (was told "Go to Walmart and dump it there"), zero notice on increased rates at any point. This is a masterclass in "How to Fail at Customer Service While Maximizing Profit 101". (And yes, I am fully aware real estate in Plano and Texas, demographic changes (everyone moving to TX), etc. I'm certain there are more transparent and customer-centric services out there; this is not one of them.

It is nice being able to have my stuff in a climate controlled space and the drive up access. However, the bathrooms in the second building are not accessible. I've been told it is because the locksmith installed the locks on the outside of the door and not the inside. It's been several months and it's still not fixed. Have been told to use the one in the office. As mentioned by another reviewer, the office is not always open, even when the open sign is displayed during regular business hours. Also, a note that the hand dryers in the bathroom located in the office are way too high. They're at eye level and I'm not sure how anyone in a wheelchair would be able to use them.

The staff were very welcoming and Jill and John helped my family and I when we wanted to change membership. They helped us get the best deal on what we wanted! Very happy with level of customer service!

My experience with Jill and the staff was excellent! I rented a storage for about 2 1/2 years and they were always willing to assist me with any issues or concerns.
