Dr Murphy & Aurora are the very best! Our 15.5 year old miniature poodle just had emergency gall bladder surgery. Dr Murphy has been her Veterinarian for15.5 years. We are so fortunate to have his expertise to help us navigate a difficult time in our dog's life. His knowledge and experience has made a very stressful situation manageable. Our poodle feels right at home in Aurora's loving arms. She handles her with great tenderness and care. This is hands down the best Veterinary practice in the Plano/Frisco area. Highly recommend!

Arbor Hills Vet Centre has been caring for my dogs for 15 years and we could not ask for anything more! They truly care about your pets and we are forever thankful for them! They are THE best!

BEWARE. READ all the SHOCKINGLY BAD reviews! We had taken our 2 Goldens here from puppies... 12 years. Learn from our EXPENSIVE and HORRIFYING mistake. They constantly push unnecessary expensive procedures, surgeries (BIG $$$$) and products. We spent a fortune for "care" that we trusted, but it was ALWAYS about the MONEY for Dr. Scott Murphy. After Covid they limited their office hours, devoting more days JUST for their (pushed) surgical procedures (more money in those). Constantly insisting on expensive "tests" (more fear-porn) to "find" issues they could treat and charge for. In Nov '22 I knew something was up with my 9 year old Golden. They "fit us in" pre-Thanksgiving, rushed through an exam - said it was "probably digestive". Tried to push 3 vaccines on her that weren't even DUE for 4 months - "since you're already here". I refused those. Dr.Murphy THEN decided to prescribe an expensive medication... one that we later learned should ONLY be administered after diagnostic bloodwork! I foolishly trusted him - only later did I do my own homework and see all the warnings on that drug! BUT he DIDN'T bother with doing bloodwork - they were clearly more interested in getting on with their long holiday weekend. After ONE dose my dog lost use of her legs and was DEAD by that Sunday (4 days after that EXPENSIVE, half-assed exam visit). Arbor Hills gives no after hours EMERGENCY contact - so you are on your own if your beloved pet goes South. We futilely rushed her to Vet ER (an ER we had to find on our own because Arbor Hills is decidedly MIA for any after hours help) The attending ER Doctor believed the medication that was irresponsibly prescribed 4 days earlier shut down her organs and caused massive internal bleeding, which ultimately put her through ghastly suffering and killed her within DAYS. The ER vet was shocked that Arbor Hills didn't DO ANY BLOODWORK before prescribing it to our Golden BECAUSE of the danger of haphazardly using that drug! Adding insult to injury - the Sunday night ER visit with a doctor and 3 other techs - all feverishly administering CPR and oxygen for an hour trying DESPERATELY to save our dog - actually cost $100 LESS than what Arbor Hills charged us for their half-assed appointment 4 days earlier - including the prescription that actually poisoned her to death. I will forever live with the pain and guilt of trusting Arbor Hills Veterinary (Scott Murphy). I should have filed malpractice, but ultimately it would never bring my dog back... and no doubt Arbor Hills Vet has plenty of $$$$$ for sweeping malpractice charges under the rug. If you love your fur babies please - FIND A DIFFERENT VET!

We've taken our dog here for over 3 years but we are done. They are extremely expensive and they just keep trying to suck more money out of you with follow up visits. My dog went in for an ear infection and $1,000 dollars later he's still not better. They charged for an ear cleaning yet his ear still looks gross. Unless you have an endless amount to spend on your pet, take your pet elsewhere. I understand it's a business but it's also supposed to be a business of caring for animals, not just ripping off their owners.

Got a sheltered dog in really bad shape and Dr Murphy and team went above and beyond to care for our are Charlie while we we planning an out of country trip. They boarded him for 9 days we were so comfortable and knew there’s no other place we would want to be going forward!

This place has no flexibility to see your pet without a scheduled in advance appointment, they cut way back on their hours and they rush through the appointments. I would not recommend coming here

They took care of our Boston Terrier for years. Front staff and Docs treated him like he was their own. A bit pricey but the service is justified.

I just recently moved to the area and was seeking care for my dog Hadley who wasn't feeling so well. Arbor Hills Vet Center immediately scheduled an appointment. I appreciate the care that was given to my dog and the assistance in seeking care given that I am not an established patient. I will continue to go to Arbor Hills Vet center for any type of care with my dogs.

The staff here are awesome! We took our senior chihuahua here for a dental procedure. They were very informative and friendly. We will definitely bring our other fur babies here for future visits.

As always, Arbor Hills is taking great care of my little guy. They fit him in to their crowded schedule and quickly diagnosed the problem. Two days later and he is doing so much better! Thanks to the AHVC team.
