You should really stop leaving one worker to work the sales floor and have all your MANAGERS IN A MEETING with no one to help your other costumers! Unprofessional and childish.

TLDR: I got blind sided into buying an iPad that came with a line but was not made aware there was a line being added.
I basically went into this AT&T to purchase a new iPhone 16 to switch with my old phone. While I was paying the sales person (Ariel Parkwood) told me there was a promotion for getting anew iPad gen 10 for $36. I thought it was too good to be true so I asked her if there was a kick, she said no it's just 99 cents a month for 36 months but only if we had bought a new phone (which we did). After continuously asking her how much I would be paying at the end of the 36 months and how much total I will be paying at the end of all payments, she continue to tell me it was $36. So I went with the deal and got the iPad. 2 months later I saw I was being charged $20/month for an iPad line?!
I go into figure out what was going on and the manager basically tells me that it's TYPICALLY normal to be adding a line on a device if you buy it from AT&T. 1. I am NOW aware of that but before this incident I had never purchased a device besides my phone upgrades from AT&T and I personally do not make the payments .. 2. Ariel definitely knew what exactly I was asking and proceeded to conveniently leave out the part where we are paying for a new line. 3. She did not make it aware that they were also running a credit check to make sure we would be eligible for the promotion?
Overall what I learned from this situation is that this store specifically does not care about YOU but only about their quotas and sales. Failure to properly inform me of the full extent of the promotion was clearly a ploy to convince me to buy the iPad in which I most definitely did NOT need the line on. So if I had known of the complete promotion then no I would not have bought the iPad because I would never be put in a situation where I'd be using my iPad without wifi. Ended up having to just cancel the line and fully buy out the iPad, which I could have done else where with a better discount. There was nothing they could do to apologize for that employee or make things right.

The wait was 30 minutes. Unacceptable. No one came up to me to check me in either during that time.

Went into the store in June to update my ID for a first line provider discount. The rep took the ID, made a copy, and told me I was all set. They never submitted the document! When I called them a few months later, after I realized they never updated it, the rep was rude, told me that a call to loyalty customer service should take care of it (you all know that means spending an hour at least on the phone and begging an agent)! He was short and rude over the phone. When I pointed it out - he asks me - "what do you want me to do - apologize profusely on the phone?"
What kind of an attitude was that! I was calm and never said anything rude. He should have said sorry - please come into the store and we can see what we can do. As simple as that.
Corporate stores are so much better. The one at Beltline and Tollway has always been prompt, efficient and courteous!

The sales agent added services that were not discussed with me or approved by me to my account so that AT&T can collect more money. I have to spend a lot of time on the phone with AT&T later on to diverse these changes that he made without my knowledge or approval. Beware of these sales agents, adding unauthorized services to account in order to increase their commission and increase AT&T sales.

Terrible customer service! Bobby, the manager, is incredibly rude and dishonest—the worst you could imagine. I purchased an item and came back to return it; this was my fourth time here, as every employee kept redirecting me to the manager. When I finally found him, he asked for a receipt, even though the store no longer provides physical receipts, and I never received one by email. When I asked about other ways to process the return, he first said his manager would be in on Tuesday. I asked for a specific time, and he then claimed that the manager is on vacation until November 12th. Even after showing him my credit card statement as proof of purchase, he refused to help. This manager kept changing his story at every turn, lying about the next steps, and ultimately wasted my time. Awful experience.

Rude worker, did not get her name because she seemed very annoyed by asking her for help making faces and rolling her eyes. The Only one that is acceptable is the Hispanic Guy helping the families.

Called in and spoke with Steven, he had a customer with him. He said he would call back in a bit, no call back. I called again, was advised he was in the restroom. Left another message for a callback. No callback as of yet. Must be the longest restroom break of all time.

Worst place to go.
I visited earlier this year for a question about wrong charges on my account. I actually came here after I called customer service who guided me to visit a real store
1) the store didn't help me with what customer service promised they could do with my account
2) people in the store told me to go back home and call customer service, which was rather confusing and not trust worthy for a company that should work with in each department instead of escaping from responsibility.
3) people in the store were rude, unfriendly and ignoring me, nobody greeted me when I went in, and a lot of them just stood here and stared at me with nobody stood up to help me which made me very uncomfortable. not sure if it's because I was not "giving in any business" or "hard to deal with"
4) they claimed they had no way to help me out instead of showing their willingness and had exhausted ways to help me
5) one guy who "helped" me made it sound like he could refund me one last transaction which I confirmed and he said yes. Then he CHARGED me for another month! That was total fraud. He claimed that he was not saying refund but charge. But I confirmed the word refund and he said yes. How shameful! He said "well now since I've charged you you can call customer service to get refund". Was that a joke?! Not funny! Not a good way to treat a person!
I eventually had to write a letter to FCC for complaint and it finally solved my problem by ATT's president office. Never come back again. And watch out if you need to come to this store to solve a problem instead of placing an order. Be prepared!
