I had a great experience selling my vehicle at AutoNation Plano. Handren was incredibly patient, professional, and transparent throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain every step clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood the paperwork before signing anything. The whole transaction was smooth, quick, and stress free. I really appreciated his honesty and customer-focused attitude, definitely recommend asking for Handren if you’re planning to sell or trade in your car!

❌ AutoNation USA Plano – Worst Car Buying Experience Ever ❌
I’m honestly shocked by how badly AutoNation handled my purchase. They lied about the condition of the vehicle, failed to complete promised repairs, and ignored me once the deal was done.
The car was supposed to be “fully inspected and ready.” Instead, it showed up with problems they claimed would be fixed before delivery — none of them were. I was told everything would be “taken care of,” but that was just talk.
AutoNation sold me a vehicle that was not what they described, and when I tried to get help, they avoided responsibility at every turn. It’s clear they only care about closing a sale, not the customer.
I expected honesty and professionalism from a national dealership — what I got was deception, delay, and disappointment. Save yourself the headache. Don’t trust AutoNation’s promises.

🚨 Buyer Beware – AutoNation USA Plano, TX 🚨
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with AutoNation USA Plano has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish.
I purchased a vehicle based on the sales team’s repeated promises that it was in excellent condition and that any minor issues would be repaired before delivery. Those promises were completely false. The car was not delivered as described, the agreed-upon repairs were never completed, and when I followed up, I was met with excuses, delays, and empty assurances.
AutoNation advertised the vehicle as being in “great shape,” but what I received was a car with multiple undisclosed problems and poor workmanship. It’s clear this dealership misrepresented the quality and condition of the vehicle just to close a sale.
When I tried to resolve the matter professionally, AutoNation repeatedly failed to uphold their word or take accountability. For a company that claims to stand behind its vehicles and customers, this experience has proven otherwise — nothing but broken promises, misrepresentation, and lack of integrity.
Consumers deserve honesty and reliability — AutoNation delivered neither. I strongly urge anyone considering buying from this location to think twice before trusting their sales claims.

Let me continue to save you all some time. The “Owner” that left the reply, could have reached out, instead they want me to call. I attempted to call and it just loops me through a cycle of prompts. I’ll let them continue making empty promises and continue recording. If you ever find yourself in a predicament like this. Always, always, always, we’ll document, take photos, record. Protect yourself from predators like this.

I sold my vehicle to them last week and was issued a check that ended up bouncing. I visited the dealership yesterday to see if there was a way I can receive a Zelle payment instead since I’m no longer comfortable receiving checks after it bounced. The manager informed me that they have to reissue a check only once they receive the canceled check. Totally ruined this experience for me.
UPDATE
I came back the next day and received a new check. It did take a little bit of time but the managers and the agent who helped buy my car checked on me and made sure to give me updates. I was told to wait until the morning to cash it in. This time, I went to the bank that issued the check and had no issues. Overall satisfied with the outcome.

Honestly no words to describe my experience at auto nation. Went to sell my car there . Not only did I get the highest offer out of 5 dealership but I was in and out in less than 35 minutes. Tom siwan truly made it happen and the staff there did not play any games at all . Highly recommend to go see Tom if you want to sell your car
