I went in for balayage and I really liked the outcome. I should definitely appreciate the skill and patience. However, at the time of billing my stylist mentioned that she provided the service of toner and haircut which she didn't inform me. Also I didn't see her trimming my hair. So discuss with your stylist on the service and cost.

I got my virgin hair dyed for the first time by Tammy. She did amazing! It took about 2 hours to get the caramel balayage I asked for. She gave me all the tips and products to keep my hair healthy and I ended up buying some Kerastase shampoo and conditioner from them. I love how she styles my hair at the end too. I got a cut and blow dry and she also curled it for me. I love her and Avenue salon!

I have had my hair cut, dyed, and highlighted by Tammy over the years and I’ve enjoyed ever experience! The staff is great, price is reasonable given the service, and I would highly recommend.

I never write reviews like this, but I’m so mad I didn’t read them myself that I feel I need to.
I’d like to start with the price point which was 95$ for what I thought was going to be a haircut and blowout, instead I got a choppy haircut and hastened straightened hair (as other reviews have mentioned) that ended up looking like a rats tail when I had full hair coming in.
I asked for my hair to keep its original length and just get long layers which is my usual haircut and instead left with most of my thickness gone and extremely dry hair that was STILL POOFY after styling. They cut my hair dry which I personally just don’t like and didn’t even apply oil or a finishing cream and the entire time she was trying to sell me a keratin treatment instead of styling my hair properly.
My friend also came with me to get her hair done and they were very unprofessional, talking about how she didn’t know what she wanted (despite making her hair toning blotchy) I understand being confused by the customer but you shouldn’t talk badly about them once they left, ESPECIALLY because it wasn’t the color itself that looked wrong it was the application itself that was blotchy AND she knew we were friends. I felt like she rushed doing my hair for no reason and I feel I would be much better off not cutting my hair at all, not to mention I still have split ends after getting my cut which she promised me wasn’t the case but was very clear once I got in the car.
I am one of the most reasonable customers and I will say Sara was sweet but that doesn’t excuse poor service.

1. They demanded and charged me extra than mentioned actual price
2. I dont think they’re professionals, cut my hair as they grabbed my hair with scissors
3. I asked the long layers and got instead straight 🙏🏻

There is a fantastic persian lady doctor who's name is NASIM, she does an amazing facial work and Botax injections, also she does fillers and pretty much everything related to beauty and rejuvenation of skin.
I recommend to everyone to try one, you'll see the difference immediately .

I had the absolute best experience here thanks to Sara! From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel completely comfortable and taken care of. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I left feeling confident and beautiful.
Sara gave me the most stunning warm balayage and a fresh cut that exceeded all my expectations. She listened carefully to what I wanted and offered expert suggestions to enhance my vision. The end result was absolutely gorgeous—my hair has never looked better!
I can’t recommend Sara enough. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only talented but also genuinely cares about her clients, she’s the one to see. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was one of the fastest curly haircut I have ever got. I specifically called for appointment for curly hair cut since my hair is fine and type 2c-3a curls. The stylist kept asking me a few times why I was there. When I said for curly haircut. She insisted on getting a blow dry or use curling wand. She was stubborn that my hair wasn’t curly and I kept my calm through all this. Then when time came to cut after the wash she rushed through the whole process and barely used the diffuser. My hair was 75% wet when she was done. When I was about to check out she told the front desk person to charge for blow dry. Thankfully another lady who was working interrupted saying , my looked so wet. I ended up paying only for the cut. The whole experience was too rushed and felt like it was the one of the worst salon experience.
I think when customers try to make an appointment specifically for curly hair cut it would be better to assigned a stylist who expertises in it, rather than someone who says “ I have done perm before “ it’s not the same.

We were able to get a last minute appointment for 2 people for cuts, wash and style with blow outs. The service was very friendly. We arrived early for our appointments and we're seen on time, even though the salon was busy at the time. Our experience was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Avenue Salon of Plano. We will definitely come back for our future needs. We were seen by Lana and Ati. They did a wonderful job.

I brought in pics of the hair and makeup I wanted. Not sure what style of makeup she was going for but definitely not what I asked. I had her redo my eye makeup and showed her the pic again. It was so bad I had to ask her to stop and said I would finish at home. As far as my hair..same thing. I had flyaways everywhere and could not believe when she said she was finished. I am SUPER embarrassed by this photo, but will post for reference. I had to redo makeup and hair when I got home

I loved getting my hair trimmed at Avenue Hair salon, and if you need a place to get your colored this is the place!! All the staff and the owner are very nice. My favorite place to also get my eyebrows done!!

Came in not knowing what I wanted and they provided me with the best advice on what would fit me, i’ve never liked a haircut more! Service was amazing and everybody was super sweet, definitely would come back!
