I stayed here 4 days thru Christmas. The room was decent, though the bathroom was in need of upkeep. But all around it was ok. Breakfast was actually good here. Location was perfect and the long haired guy working the front desk was professional. I'd go back, but I was wrongly charged $50 because I left trash in a trash can in my room. That pissed me off and is why I won't return.

Food and drinks: Whataburger and Racetrack are nearby, and the hotel serves a nice big complimentary breakfast, and they also sell food items at the front desk.
Noteworthy details: Its nice.

Really dirty. Roaches, used towels, uncleaned room, mold, fecal matter and urine on the toilet. I can’t believe that this hotel is in Plano. I’m very disappointed… We picked this hotel in a hurry due to an emergency and won’t make this mistake again.

Every time I visit the Baymont Hotel in Plano. The staff greets me with kindness and meets all of my needs for a Great stay, it's the only place that feels like home away from home for me.

Gosh. Thanks for letting me rest with the cracked out haven’t showered in a year homeless and the cockroaches mixed with vomit smell really added a certain je ne sais quoix. I chose not to experience the breakfast, life is too important.

Stayed here because it was really close to the training center I was going to. Should have known from the price this was going to be sketchy. As soon as I walked in, I regretted it. The place had some really bad odors up and down the halls and generally unclean. Had to hold my breath in the elevator. Carpet was really badly stained and pulling up in the halls.
The room had seen much better days. Furniture held together with duct tape. Holes in the walls patched with caulk and the bathtub had the hot/cold reversed and enamel was peeling off the bottom. Water diverted only sent about 30% of the water up to the shower head, the rest just sprayed out of the faucet.
Food in the breakfast bar was inedible. The pigs in a blanket were dried out and hard. Looked like they'd been in the warmer for weeks. I think they just keep putting the same ones out day after day till they're gone.
I guess for the price it was to be expected, but there's so much here they could improve and make this a decent place. I would have gladly paid more just for the location.

I wish I had more good things to say but, yes there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Breakfast was very sad not much of a variety of anything. The gentleman who was there when we arrived was very nice the rooms looked clean. Unfortunately in the room we stayed it looked like at one time you could access the other room. They put a door there but it seemed like the only thing that would keep anyone from entering was a door stopper.The door also looked like it had been outside in the rain a few days. They had a chest of drawers, when we opened the door you could see 2 of the drawers pulled out. So we pushed them back in. Only one opened up again after a few hours. No matter how many times we closed it after a few hours it would open up slowly not making a noise. Well, I thought it is close to Halloween . The place was quiet for the most part. I don't think we'll be staying here again.

I love this hotel. The staff is top notch. Rooms are always clean. I recommend this hotel to all my friends.. I normally don't do this but this hotel is excellent and for the price you can't find a better place.

Safety: No concerns about safety. Staff members do there job very well. My girlfriend and I feel very safe at this hotel
