Best bank experience I’ve even had. Everyone is very friendly, make you feel like family. My new personal banker, Mr. Barrera, is absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and patient.They have great banking products as well.

The worst experience anyone could have, very bad treatment by an employee, I went to update personal information, when I opened my account it was only with a passport, and I already have my social security number, the employee very rudely told me that only Citizens can have a social security number, which I should not have and it would be a crime for me to have it, a lot of ignorance on the part of the employees of this branch, and an offense to me, it is discriminatory that because I am a foreigner but with My documents are in order, and with an account in that bank I would not like to update myself, I do not remember his name but he spoke Spanish, I will make the corresponding complaints

I normally don't leave reviews unless I feel they are really warranted. 2 Weeks ago I decided to open my own blueness, I am an appliance repairman. I went through the steps of hiring a CPA getting my Tax ID and all other paper work filed. Last week I opened a new business account at the location in Allen and (Bill Erickson was very helpful as almost everyone I have ever dealt with at Truist or BB&T is. I have my personal account with Truist so there was a conflict with Zelle which is understandable. I could not send or receive to my new Business account as a result it would only send to me Personal account. I knew this was an issue and called my CPA who said I need to get it fixed asap. I went to the Plano location as soon as I could to correct this. I went in and the girl at the counter didn't say 2 words to me just stared at her phone which I could live with. I asked to talked to a banker (Vincent Barrera) I asked how I could fix this and rather than try to help he Treated me like a was student and he was the Principle and I was in trouble, Very condescending. Rather than help he went right to the possibility that my account would be frozen or closed because of these transactions. I get that but I was unaware I didn't even know that was an issue I am new to this and learning how its all works. I just wanted to know how to direct the payment to my new business account and he basically told me its was my fault and didn't even attempt to help he just pushed me out of his office with a you're in trouble smirk on his face. I was tempted to go close all my accounts. So I took a breath and decided to go to the location at Northwest Highway and the toll way and talk to the banker there. As is the case almost always they were very friendly and helpful. I didn't even need to talk to a Banker the young man at the counter walked me through it and by the time I left the bank I could send and receive from my new account. The Dallas location made me realize that the Plano location was just a one off situation that probably needs to be scrutinized by corporate. Over all I am very happy with Truist/BB&T going on 5 years. I even received a phone call from them about setting up merchant service on the way home which was also a smooth experience.

quite possibly the worst corporate bank I have ever had the displeasure of being forced to work with. They operate using shady business practices which nobody can explain, and will not undo the damage they’ve caused internally to your own account. they have cost me hours of time and hundreds of dollars I can’t get back.

Alysia - (I KNOW I’m spelling it wrong!) she was WONDERFUL. We had a brief but lovely interaction and I literally never do reviews- but sometimes you cross paths with someone so pleasant who you can tell is just a stellar individual, who is good at their job and who CARES about what they do. My other branch everyone is very stoic and disinterested and chatting with (alysia) makes it worth driving a little further to this branch. hold onto her bb&t!! - I work in management & can tell you she is a GEM & an amazing face for this branch.
