This firm is a fee-only financial planning group, and is a fiduciary for YOU.Initially conceived to serve productive dentists, they can serve most owner & Entrepreneurial business needs. This legacy firm has served and blessed my parents, me for 28 years, and my dentist sister! We love and trust these people! Generally: you will be matched with a planner who uses the same vehicles for their own financial success as you use! They have seen all of the blessings and problems that happen in real life. I know examples of when someone was audited, and a team showed up to support them, or when a dentist in a group practice died suddenly, and they showed up to make sure the family had every benefit of the dead Dentist’s hard work. Mostly, I watch them shepherd people toward their financial success customized for each client. They can do your taxes and guide your growing pains and help sell your practice. The charitable foundation called the 3 to 1 foundation is a blessing of education for clients children, and also benefits the Dallas area and the Dental practices employees. When the hot shots who are running the show eventually retire, there are already talented, intelligent, committed people who will take care of the next generation. My family and I are in awe, and in debt to this amazing group! And it is really cool to visit the Star in Dallas, even if you’re a committed Philadelphia Eagles fan!

We’ve been with Keith Klein since 2013. From starting a new practice, building a new office, navigating through COVID and bringing in a new associate, Keith has been an excellent resource in helping us make wise, informed financial decisions. Our practice would not be where it is today if it weren’t for the regular assessment and guidance provided by him. It’s worth the investment!!

Ask me about my $100k that disappeared in a CW tugboat scam. Not to mention zero transparency in how money is managed. Their monthly fees are insane relative to performance ( never better than 3% and down for several years ) We left and took our accounts to Edward’s Jones, and have been enjoying 20% plus with guided solutions at a fraction of the cost. Don’t fall for it.

I joined CWA about 5 years ago when I was at the lowest point of my financial life. I couldn't seem to make ends meet despite a successful practice. Brook Hoover, Julie Denham, Chelsea and now Christy Bowie honestly saved my practice and have made it possible for me to live the life I always dreamed about. I cannot thank them enough! They were and continue to be answers to my prayers. They are amazing people and amazing accountants. Best financial decision of my life was to join the CWA family. I love these guys!

This is a very large financial advisory firm. They handle accounting as well as financial planning. I thought would be a wise move since my 20 year old practice was growing dramatically and that they could handle my payroll, financial planning, and tax advice all in one place. I soon found out that it’s a huge bureaucracy with Financial Planning, Accounting for Business, Accounting for Personal, Tax Preparing for Business, Tax Preparing for Personal, and Payroll (not really a payroll department because they refer you out to ADP) departments. I have been with them for a year now. In that time I have been through 4 or 5 different accountants. I have no idea who my “accountant” is now. Only once was I notified via email that one of my accountants had quit. I should have been alarmed when on Dec 15 th I was told that I would have to come up with $85000 to give to the IRS before Jan 1, as my withholding for the year was not enough. My old accountant would let me know way in advance and start taking more out of my paychecks. I literally had to mortgage my house!I started contacting them in January to make sure I had all my ducks in a row for the tax filing deadline mid year. With all that withholding and COVID I was surely going to get a substantial refund. I was told that my accountant was gone now and who to contact now for all my accounting issues. I called the person to introduce myself and ask what he needed from me. He said to just upload things to their filing system or email him. I sent my tax statements and other items needed as soon as they were available. Never a peep back from him. So as the deadline for filing approached I was becoming more and more concerned at the lack of communication from the firm. Are they going to file for an extension or nothing at all? Why would they do that since I have given them all the info needed way ahead of time? They would send these generic articles on things, but zero about my taxes. I contacted them and was told that I had the wrong department. The accountant doesn’t handle my taxes… the “tax preparing department “ does. Well who the heck was that?? Who ever heard of an accountant that doesn’t do your taxes?? Finally my “financial planner” contacted me and told me that they always file for an extension and that his assistant was also my accountant. And by the way he quit also. He also told me I need to contact the “tax preparing department”. My financial planner is the only shining light there as he explains in detail what I need to do to maximize my income and has ironically been the only person that can direct me to the right “department”. I do love ADP and my financial advisor there. Unfortunately when I send him an email it is usually replied that he is too busy for me now ( you know, at a meeting, out of office, etc)… he does get back to me later but what the heck. I have to Google half my questions to get an an answer!Anyway so now when I send my emails I literally send to 6 different people to cover all the departments and hope I get a bullseye for the right one, lol. The frosting on the cake was when I received a letter of concern recently that none of my personal tax info was there and I may not be done in time for the tax deadline…

CWA is the best.We have been with our planner Keith Klein for 9 years now. We actually joined CWA prior to starting our first dental practice. Keith and his team have helped us grow to 3 pediatric and 2 orthodontic clinics with a business support center. All while growing our retirement nest and decreasing our debt load. I feel CWA excels at understanding that it's not all about "paying less taxes." All aspects of one's personal and business finances (assets, liabilites, cash) should be in balance with both long and short term perspectives. If you just want to 'pay less taxes' or 'pay the least accounting fees possible,' CWA is not for you. If you want the best financial, investment, tax, and growth planning, you can't beat CWA.

This review is long overdue... we have been with Cain Watters a little over 3 years now. Scott Clynch is our planner and I cant say enough wonderful things about him! He is on top of Everything - quick to respond in conjunction with Eric Lamm - and literally makes us sleep better at night. On top of that he's even a really cool guy that we enjoy coming to see once a year for consult and hang out with! We brought Scott on when we acquired our first practice a little over 3 years ago. We would not have been able to do it without him, his guidance and education he gives on retirement, priorities with money etc is worth every penny. We have learned so much from him and helped us make a sound 2nd investment in acquiring an additional location as well. His opinion is one of the few we actually care about or listen too when it comes to making large business decisions. On top of all of that, his extra dedication through the Covid-19 pandemic shows how much he cares about his clients. We were in constant communication with him, he stayed on top of everything that was happening and how it would effect us, or business and our employees. Can't say enough good things about you Scott!!The Pumps

Bradley Blasingame is a top notch advisor that always has your back. No matter what, I can always get a hold of him with my pressing issues and he always has a quick, concise response. From tax planning to estate planning to managing our dental office and personal finances, we know we are in great hands and doing what's best for our practice and employees.

I am a huge fan of Cain Watters especially Tom Gates and Lauren and Trudi! They are an amazing team that has given me tremendous help for almost 10 years now. The improvements to my corporation and to my overall wealth are exponential. Before I came to them, I felt lost with my personal and professional finances and that I was doing everything wrong. Now I feel confident that all aspects in my life are being optimized. Thank you all for this feeling of security.

Angie Svitak has been working with me and my wife for approximately two years . Me and wife have very personalities and different ideas about finances . Angie listens to both of us and is able to give us advice, answer questions , and if she doesn’t know she finds someone who does . Angie helps me and my wife see the big picture without feeling intimidate or like I’m being sold financial products. She always has our best interest in mind and that is very difficult to find in the financial industry. Thanks for the annual laughs . See you next year

I highly recommend CWA! Keith Klein has been our advisor and consultant; he's been a constant help to maneuver us through some tricky practice situations over the last 8 years. It has been amazing to always have him to discuss ideas and help us plan for our financial future!
