So I went there this Sunday around 3:30. I wish I would’ve got both their names but one was an older gentleman and one was an older lady and they were so helpful and so sweet. I asked him to save me a Christmas tree they said they had one left is 4 foot tall I said perfect. I’ll come get it when I got there. My daughter was disappointed. She wanted a Bigger tree has like Jordan. This is what we have you be thankful And when they saw this appointment and my daughter’s face, they gave her a plant for free and they packed up the tree and put it in my trunk. I am so thankful for this nursery. They gave me a five dollar Christmas tree that means the world to me and my daughter I wish I knew their names so I can put their names in this review but Callaway nursery is amazing customer service.

visited this store and noticed that the two white cashiers were chatting and laughing loudly with a customer while I was waiting. I had to wait for two minutes before one of them finally checked me out. Their attitude felt cold and unwelcoming as a non-white customer, which seemed like subtle discrimination. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Visited this location after moving to Carrollton from Lewisville. Nobody said hello, offered assistance, or even seemed to care. Contrast to the Lewisville location, which is friendly and professional and has amazing service. This location needs to learn better customer service. It's unfortunate the other locations are so far, I'll have to find a new nursery. AVOID.

Nasty attitude with the girl in the front desk with the piercings in her face and the employees here just have horrible attitudes - they are not welcoming to certain people with darker skin colors. Racism possibly? Or they must hate their jobs? Or both. Other locations are much better.

My husband and I bought our first live Christmas tree in Texas here. It’s so beautiful and the price was fair. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I am so grateful for this nursery and will forever be a fan of Calloways because of this experience.

They missed something when we scheduled delivery and instead of charging extra to resolve they took care of it for us which we are very thankful for! That is 5 star service..really appreciated the business and the beautiful tree!

UPDATE:Immediately after posting my review we received a call from Anthony Luciano (the installation manager). He was very concerned and felt terrible for our experience. He came out within 24 hours to meet with us, take pictures and go over a plan that would remedy the situation. He was extremely apologetic and explained this had never happened before. Basically a new order was created for plants to be replaced but wasn’t officially submitted and just fell through the cracks. He addressed what happened with all the staff and said they have met to ensure this doesn’t happen again. They ordered us new plants, came out and replaced them and did a beautiful job.We are very pleased with the way this was remedied. We understand errors can occur and they were honest about it and fixed it above and beyondThank you Calloway’s. I can officially recommend them, especially Anthony.FIRST OLD REVIEW:We have used Calloway’s for years for doing our own landscaping and were decently satisfied with the plants we’ve purchased. So when we moved to a new home we decided to take the plunge and hire out re landscaping our entire front yard using Calloway’s. Met with a designer who was young but we felt was pretty good and came up with a game plan. We were concerned about the time they were planting and worried about them immediately dying but were promised any plants that don’t survive would be replaced at no fee.Well our fears came true and a lot of them did in fact die. We’ve called and emailed our point of contact who didn’t respond then eventually said it wasn’t their department, called the store and every number we could, went to the store in person, called and emailed the person we were referred to (you get the point), finally after months of trying we talked to someone (I think Mark) who said he would be by with new plants. He said we’d have to pay for install or we can plant them ourselves.I said we’d be fine planting them. Then we never heard back. No plants ever delivered and no follow up or contact. My husband is so upset over the amount we spent and the time we invested in trying to get it fixed that he refuses to ever shop there again. This is truly upsetting as we had referred them out to several friends and family. Please know before they take your money for a big project, if there are any issues you will have no where to go and no assistance. They will take your money then leave you on read with zero attempts to fulfill, what I believe, was the main selling point.

They had a great selection. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know the lay of the land. A super friendly associate named Kiersten approached me and wanted to know if I needed help. She spent 30 minutes with me and walked me through the nursery and showed me the best plants for the amount of sun various pots needed.

I decided to go to Calloway's Nursery to get expert advice on planting a herb garden. David, the Nursery Manager, was so helpful in explaining and answering all of my questions. I am excited about planting my first outdoor herb garden (Garlic Chives, Onion Chives, Sweet Basil, Cilantro, and Dill) along with a Rosemary plant, Lavender and Angel Wings. I appreciated the quality of their items and the professionalism of their employees. This will definitely become my "go to" place in the future as I become more adept at gardening. I was impressed with their wide selection of potting soils, clay pots, chimes, and outdoor garden decor and was able to find everything I needed at this one location.

Great plant selections and the staff is fabulous! You might have to be patient finding the right person if you really want 10 mins of gardening tips with plant care, general info, but once you get the right person you will leave with a wealth of knowledge. I love love love this place!

Always a great place to visit for indoor plants. It's a bit slim right now with winter coming, tho in spring they are always full of greenery. Staff is always helpful and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop if plant shopping.

So sad!!! I used to live to come to Calloway's for inspiration and to find beautiful plants. They have done away with the pots that they used to have around the nursery for inspiration. The plants are just regular stuff you'd find anywhere, inventory is sparse looking, some dead stuff, empty shelves...not worth a special trip anymore. I was literally the only one here.I hope they bring back the old Calloway's!!
