Made an appointment for tire rotation and balance. Arrived on time, was told 1hr, fine. Waited for 2hours. Felt really embarrassed to keep my friends waiting. Waited for another 5 minutes at the gate after checkout. Just not sure what is going on. This place needs more hands.

Seriously they need to get out of tire business and please get rid of tire center if you don’t know how to take care of your customers…. Really really disgusting and disappointing to wait like a creep for two hours without being checked just because we didn’t have an appointment. In that case… please don’t accept walk in or have courtesy to mention to the customer that it’s gonna take couple of hours or more than your life time to get the tires checked…… I don’t have a good opinion on Costco but today they showed their true colors. Really really customer experience for tire center is disgusting. If you don’t care about your customers just say on their face rather than wasting our time and money…. Wanted to give a complaint to highest authority if possible to address some of these least bothered things…. Please please Donot waste our time in case you don’t have capacity to take care of us….

I took my car to Costco to have the tires rotated and balanced (with a tire inspection) on 4/25/2025. I knew upon booking that there was a big possibility that I needed new tires. I ended up purchasing 2 new tires since the back tires still had about 80% left while the front two were at just about 20%. Joe was awesome and was able to have everything done within an hours time. The tires look and feel great and now I have more peace of mind! I would 100% recommend this Costco Tire center (I actually drove past two other Costco Tire centers to come to this one specifically).

I usually get tires at Costco because of their warranty that I’ve never really had to use… however, my wife’s tire kept going flat. I made an appointment to get it checked, blocked out a chunk of time to get it taken care of on a weekend while trying to juggle taking care of my kids. They took over an hour to tell me they found a screw but that they took care of that but that there was no puncture so they just filled it up and we could go. They assured me they were very thorough. It continued to drop down and needed to be filled every day until we could take it back for an appointment. I tried taking it to Costco and they told me I could make another appointment but that they would do the same tests as before. I took it to another place and within minutes they told me that there was a screw left in my tire…
Got me in and taken care of, Costco is great at a lot of things but their tire patch and warranty is garbage at this location.

Costco is the best place to get both tires and batteries but this location specifically has the best employees. Jesus has helped me with issues and new tires a few times and it has always been a great experience! i feel like he goes above and beyond compared to other locations in the area. Will use them for every vehicle i have!

I almost didn’t drop by bc of previous bad reviews. Off course you can’t expect 5 star hotel service but they had my car ready in about 25min from my appointment time and tire rotation went well. They called me to let me know my car was ready too.
They even had my steering wheel wrapped.
I would recommend their tire rotation service.

I have attempted to contact this center numerous times, both via their direct phone number and through the main Costco Wholesale directory. However, the line is opened and then immediately disconnected, which is highly unacceptable.

Extremely Disappointing Tire Service Experience. No Concern for Customers.
I had a tire service appointment at Costco at 4 PM. I dropped off my car at 3:50 PM and proceeded to shop in the store. Afterward, I returned to the tire service center and waited outside for almost an hour.
When I finally went inside to check on the status of my car, I was informed that it had been ready since 4:25 PM. I questioned why no one had contacted me, and the employee insisted that they would have called. I showed him my phone, which had no missed calls from Costco Tire Center. His response was that the call might have gone to spam or voicemail, but he did not apologize or show any concern for the inconvenience I experienced.
I ended up waiting until 5:50 PM for a car that had been ready for over an hour. The dismissive attitude of the staff member, a shorter gentleman with glasses, only added to my frustration. His lack of customer service and empathy was unacceptable.
Is this how Costco treats its customers? My membership renewal is due and after this experience, I am seriously considering not renewing it.

Put (recommended) tires on and now so loud can’t hear inside the car . Called and they were of no help. Go at your own risk.

I Absolutely love costco. BUT, They should get out of the tire business.Total mess. First, the day I bought the tires they told me they would have them installed within four hours, well, that was false. After staying at the store for four hours, they told me they were really backed up and it was going to be another two hours. I should have demanded my money back, but I left to come back another day and get them installedThey have an average wait time of 4 hours for a walk in flat repair and 7+ days to book an appt for a FLAT tire! Leave it to the pros.Also sold me an 80,000 mile Bridgestone tire for f150 and it is now almost end of life at 17 months /9500 miles!!!! I cannot rate them any lower.

I'm 65 years old and scheduled for a tire rotation and balance at Costco warehouse 1701 Dallas pkwy, TX today 2-13-24 at 11:30 am but I got a health scare in the morning and had to go and see my doctor. The scheduled time for my tire rotation was 12:30 am and thought I could finish seeing my doctor at Frisco and head straight to Plano. This time my doctor had to do a lot of tests on me that delayed my tire rotation. When I got there I explained it to the guy at the desk/counter and asked him two(2) simple questions. I know I came in thirty minutes late, are you going to accommodate and perform the tire rotation for me and he replied in affirmative and how long is it going to take and he said shortly. I stayed and patrolled the whole Costco several times and this guy never sent me a note. After two(2) hours I decided to physically contact him and to my surprise he walked out on me. I knocked the service door and one gentleman answered and asked him to get me my Subaru outback key and left the store. I want you all to remember that this Costco warehouse store is one of the best in Dallas to shop, and so the tire center is the worst place to take your car to. For years I have been purchasing all my tires from Costco and will never do it again when these tires wear out.
