We were members of Costco for a number of years before we lapsed in 2015 and never renewed. We decided to stop in today and restart membership.Terri, Bill, and Charles were the true standouts here on today's visit(12/7/2023). The employees were so kind and helpful and answered any and all questions we had. Terri was able to get me signed up and approved for a Citi VISA Costco Card within a few minutes. She assisted me and my Mom with getting our photos taken for our membership cards as well as downloading the Costco digital membership app on our phones. Everything was efficient, quick, and easy. What I truly appreciate is the clear value for your money. Buying in bulk has its perks. The checkout process was simple as well. Charles was so pleasant, greeted us with a smile, and had a very professional work ethic. He also engaged in conversation with us and made us feel welcome.I appreciate the customer service we received here. You hear horror stories sometimes from reading google and/or yelp reviews, but I always tend to take those with a grain of salt. Looking forward to returning here for future purchases.

I love Costco for what it offers and its prices. Approx 50 yrs ago, while I was married, but no children, I thought buying in bulk was not for me, and I didn't have space for storing the goods. Fast forward to 20 yrs ago, I see the light now. So Costco and other big box stores have won me over!!!

Amy k. needs to watch her attitude. Random worker got mad because I parked my cart by the emergency door sir im not stupid I know not to go through the emergency exit. This isn't even my regular Costco just wanted to check out if they had different selections. Churchill and Duncanville are way better..

I did not purchase tires from Costco this time after determining that their prices were—somewhat surprisingly—among the most expensive in town. Their selection was also limited to only 4 tires in my size (I drive a small Ford pickup). I ended up ordering tires from Walmart, which had literally dozens of tires to choose from, at prices that were less than half of Costco’s. I still rated Costco 4 stars, however, for the excellent service provided to me on prior visits and its unmatched warranty.

Tire Department is dishonest. They were fine when I purchased tires from them. But were dishonest when I went for a simple tire rotation (non-Costco tires).Front tires should have been installed to the back as they were 8/32".Rear tires should have been installed to the front as they were 6/32".Simple.They charged for a service but never performed that.My tires have the same thread as before the service.6/32" rear, 8/32" front.I don't know what kind of "tire rotation" they did but they didn’t switch the tires.Never refunded. And arguing with my bank that they did it.Dishonest place.

SERIOUSLY THE WORST! I have had problems with the tires I purchased from Costco from the get-go. The alignment was fine BEFORE, but since the new tires, I'm having alignment and balance issues. It's so difficult to get balance service. I came in today because I was close by for another appointment. I waited TWO HOURS!!!!! and there were still two people before me. I ended up just asking for my key back. Of course, I could have scheduled an appointment had I known days in advance I would be there. They could have also told me that the wait would be obscenely long just to balance (not even rotate)!!!! If there are so many appointments that they can't fit anyone in, then they shouldn't allow walk-ins. I suppose if you live close to a Costco, then fine. But, I live an hour from the nearest one. It's terrible.

Terrible Customer Experience at McKinney, Texas Location - Urgent Attention RequiredTo whom it may concern,I am writing this email to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the terrible experience I had with two of your employees at the McKinney, Texas location on Sunday, July 9th, 2023, at 6 PM. As a long-standing Costco member for over 20 years, I have experienced exceptional customer service at various Costco locations across the country. Regrettably, the McKinney store fell significantly short of meeting those expectations. The incident occurred when I visited the store to pick up a watch that I had purchased. I approached an employee, whose name I unfortunately could not obtain as he hastily removed his vest, claimed to be off-duty, and hurried away. Another employee, who identified himself as the manager (Nith), proved to be equally unhelpful throughout the encounter. When I inquired about the watch, I asked the first employee if it came with a battery as it was not functioning. His initial response was disheartening, as he curtly stated, "I don't know, I gave you the product you purchased." Sensing his uncooperative attitude, I requested either his assistance or for him to direct me to another employee at the watch display who could provide the necessary information. He then reluctantly contacted someone via radio, who informed us that the watch required movement or exposure to light/sunlight to function properly. Rather than conveying this information to me directly, he merely gestured towards the radio conversation as if that was an adequate response. Additionally, I asked if the watch came with instructions, taking into account the store's closing time and the apparent rush among the employees. While standing there, I mentioned that I have worked in various customer service roles for over two decades, and his response was far from helpful or customer-oriented. As a paying member, I expect a certain level of service, but instead, he began making excuses and dismissively raised his voice, saying, "I don't need to hear this," before abruptly walking away without providing his name, despite my request.Subsequently, I approached the self-proclaimed manager, Nith, seeking assistance. I calmly explained the issue I had encountered with the unnamed employee. However, to my astonishment, Nith responded by stating, "I can't help you, not the way you are acting," as if my justified frustration invalidated my right to receive support. His dismissive gesture and mannerisms further conveyed a lack of professionalism and a disregard for the duty of a manager.I have never, in all my years as a Costco member, experienced such a blatant disregard for customer service. Nith's lack of preparedness or willingness to address customer concerns, along with his handling of this situation, is deeply concerning. Moreover, I have heard similar stories from several friends who have also chosen to discontinue their patronage at the McKinney store due to its poor customer service. Sadly, my experience today has validated their accounts.Given the severity of this incident, I kindly request that someone in a position of authority addresses this matter promptly. I believe it is crucial to rectify this situation and ensure that future customers receive the high level of service Costco is known for. I hope to hear from you soon regarding the actions that will be taken to address this issue.

Not professional guys!I asked the two tire installations and switch this morning. They said yes, but no switch for my first delivery! Then I noted when I did the state inspection. And I came back same day to do the switch. Another guys told me that I should put the new tires on the rear due to the car is FWD. It cannot control the rear tire, so it must be the new tire. I told him my dealership asked to put new tire in the front. But he sweared that everyone should follow the rule: FWD car should put the new tires on the rear, because the rear tires cannot be controlled. This is my first time to learn the knowledge like this one during my 15 years driving experience.

I’ve been a Costco member since 2007. I can’t say I’ve been disappointed since 2007. Then one year I decided to give their tire service a try. Felt good in the beginning but perhaps due to popularity it’s has become too much to deal with…Wait time, appointments, no clear updates while waiting, no area to wait when things take a turn for the worst and have wait longer. And to put it simply by one of their staff “You are more than welcome to go somewhere else.” Indeed, customers always a choice when service is bad and rude.

Best place to get your tires but wait times are longer. Flat tire services are almost unusable as you will have to make an appointment. All other services are great.
