I was initially hesitant to join because the word “CrossFit” intimidated me - I imagined the workouts would be far beyond my capabilities. However, the moment I walked in, my fears melted away.
The support I received from Coach Daren and the members was incredible. Everyone at the gym is on a different fitness journey, but the camaraderie and encouragement make it feel like we’re all in this together. The best part? Every workout is scalable and can be tailored to your individual goals and abilities.
My only regret is not joining sooner! Crossfit Urban Jungle has become a place where I not only improve my fitness goals, but where I also find motivation and community.
And speaking of community, it seems the children of the members get along quite well, too! My 7-yo asks to come to the gym everyday so she can play with her friends. ?
If you’re on the fence like I was, start with a punch card to get a feel for the programming, coaching and community!

CFUJ has amazing coaches and an awesome community! Very thankful that I gave CrossFit a chance. If you are looking for a gym will cheer for you no matter, I highly recommend giving CFUJ a chance too!

Coach Daren and the entire team over at CFUJ are an amazing group of people who will patiently teach and encourage you to do things you didn’t think you could. At the same time you will laugh and cry together with new friends through some great workouts. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a positive way to improve their fitness and have fun doing it!

I've been coming to CFUJ for almost 2 years now. I can honestly say this is the best gym in Plano. I love the atmosphere and the personal attention each coach gives. They work with you to create goals and help you to be successful. Whatever your fitness goals and journey looks like Urban Jungle can help you get there.

Coach Daren is amazing!!! His structured classes are a perfect blend of challenging workouts that target both strength and cardiovascular endurance. I've gained invaluable insights into proper technique, particularly in executing movements like the power clean, the clean and j*** and the squat cleans, thanks to his expert guidance.

Daren and the coaches were good and had the knowledge to prioritize learning the technique and form first to avoid any injuries and then build up muscle ?Just what I needed in my lifeTo run around for an hour throwing heavy stuff back and forth ?Truly recommend this gym for begginers and experts alike

Daren is an incredible coach, leader, and encourager. This is no ordinary CrossFit gym, in fact, it’s more like a family/team. Don’t be intimidated by the CrossFit name, the community here is very uplifting and supportive. I have made some great new friends and even better progress in my overall fitness. My wife and I love this place. One of our favorite parts of the day!!We even did our first Murph - never in a million years did we think we would do that.Keep up the great work Daren and Co.
