The first reviewer found it strange that nobody has reviewed up to that point in 2018. I guess my response to that is "why?". There's nothing particularly remarkable about this CVS location so why would anyone post a review *shrugs*.In any event, this location has somewhat improved since then. Before in the pharmacy, there were techs there that couldn't be bothered to help you and when they did, it's like pulling teeth. Many times making me get on the phone for confirming something they should know how to do. I've had no issues past several times I've been. The pharmacists are always helpful and courteous. The techs I've dealt with are good as well.As for the store itself, it's fine too. Sometimes it's hard to find somebody to help you but they're always out and about stocking stuff and what not.

I have been a regular customer at this CVS location for several years. The service has always been good for me especially the pharmacy staff. The only complaint I have is the restroom always stinks.

Christina, Phelesia and their staff are excellent in the pharmacy. I will use and recommend them continually.

CVS has been a source of aggregation since being forced to use them by my health insurance. They are often out of stock on important medications that must be taken daily, and this was prior to the pandemic. If a patient has a running prescription, month after month, how do they get to the point of being out of stock and not having an estimated time of arrival? Again, this has been happening with CVS stores in the Dallas area since before the pandemic, so using the pandemic is not a viable excuse. In addition, I went to the 525 Parker Plano store and find that they now close around 2 pm!! I'm assuming this store plans to close its doors because people with jobs aren't likely to take time off every month to meet these 10-2 hours. Very disappointing.

First I want to point out that the scathing one-star review left below by Gaylen G. WAS FOR A DIFFERENT LOCATION! Jeez yelpers, if you're going to provide a fair criticism make sure you're selecting the right business. This location is at Parker and Premier, not Coit. This location at 525 Parker is extremely convenient as there are not too many quick options if you don't feel like going to the big Target nearby. The place is well stocked and the staff up front are super friendly and helpful. The pharmacy staff is VERY overworked. I've never experienced any mistakes, but they are always harried and busy and sometimes curt. I read a big expose about the kind of pressure Chain-store pharmacists are under to meet quotas so I try to cut them some slack, but this store would be 5-star if they could have more staff help in pharmacy.

Horrendous wait times for simple generic Rx fills. Had amoxicillin e-prescribed by my doctor at 2pm, went to go get it at 5pm. They said they needed 1 more hour and that 4 hours was "normal" for fill times and that their location was "lower volume" compared to other CVSes in the area. Absolutely nuts that they think that 6 hours is acceptable in the digital age. Half the benefit of e-prescribing is so that the medication is ready when the patient arrives there after their doctor's appointment. Not having it ready for 3-4 hours is absolutely unacceptable.

The pharmacy here is among the worst I have ever dealt with. Not only slow, but God forbid you need to get in touch with them. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Tried at 4pm, tried at 6pm, then tried again around 7:15- actually sat on hold until I drove up to the store and got in line. Over 30 mins on hold. I ask if their phones are rolling or not working (because in the background I don't hear any beeping or any kind of indication that someone is on hold) and the red haired woman holds her arms out and says with attitude galore well we're busy, we've been busy all day! When the male technician tried to talk to me she told him no go help the person behind me and then told me I could wait off to the side. BEYOND RUDE. No I'm sorry, not even an attempt to sound like the pharmacy is concerned about leaving patients on hold on for half an hour. They also hadn't even started the script nearly 5 hours later. I wanted to laugh out loud- I work on the nursing staff for a 10 provider practice where it's my job to field phone calls and answer every question from medical emergencies to questions about immunization records, working the floor doing procedures, running labs, writing and calling in prescriptions, ADD testing, scribing, PAs and insurance verifications, and then some. I get being slammed honey, I don't need your attitude on it. But I have NEVER left a patient hanging EVER. In fact if we left someone on hold that long we would be in very serious trouble. And God forbid the patient needs to get in touch with the pharmacist for a potential emergency, YOU would be in serious trouble too. If you can't handle the pressure then maybe you shouldn't be working such a busy shift there honey. And if the pharmacy is so busy that they have to ignore calls then perhaps they should make a recording that says that. Unbelievably unprofessional. Definitely planning on speaking to not only the store manager in the morning but I'm also taking this to the regional manager as well because this is completely unacceptable for healthcare professionals. That girl at the pharmacy needs an attitude check and the pharmacy in general needs to get their act together.

This is my local CVS that I visit quite frequently. The managers and employees there are extremely personable and professional and they welcome you the moment enter the store. And the Pharmacy staff are normally the same but perhaps this young lady was having a bad day. My complaint is not with the front end store, it's with one person in the Pharmacy. I spoke directly with Christine or Christina in the Pharmacy earlier regarding a prescription that my Physician was supposed to call in yesterday for pain due to an arm injury. She was the most rudest person I have ever experienced in her profession. I simply asked her if she could call the physician's office because I was unable to get through and had been calling all morning and was in pain. A simple question with what I thought would be a very simple answer. "Yes ma'am, I can do that for you or no ma'am, that's not a service we provide. I've been in pain for quite some time and for a representative who is in the business of serving others to rudely respond with "I don't know what to tell you". Her comment literally took my breath away because I was shocked by not only what she said but HOW she said it. She was rude! I began to say "thank you and before I could get it out...she rudely hung up on me as if I had spoken to her rudely. I'm in so much pain I didn't have the energy to call back and tell her but I will tell her face to face when I pick up my prescription today. I'm also choosing to write about it in hopes of her reading this and taking SELF INVENTORY of her approach and/or her comments to customers that are merely coming to the pharmacy for a medication that they need. Always be kind, you never know what a person is going through, please show some sort of compassion/empathy to your customers. We CHOOSE your place of employment to spend our money.
