I love shopping at this location I feel bad that they don’t have enough traffic.I love the selection at the Women’s Fragrances, Lancome, Shiseido hang bags and I had an Awesome experience at the women’s fragrances With 🌟🌟Dalila and Kathleen they are the best 🌟🌟

I wish I could give zero to this chain store. One of the worst store in town. Worst at returning stuff and you have look for specific counter to return not the department. I went almost 4 counters to return piece of clothing. Overpriced store with few choices to choose.

Loved the manager at the jacket section on the third floor! We need more managers like her (I believe her name was Amy)
Great customer service and professional.
Also being understanding is a trait that so many of the retail management teams are missing
I hope she continues to be promoted in this company and people would be able to learn from her exceptional service too

I have visited a few Dillards and the staff are all the same. They love you when you buy things, and they act like you're a bother if you have to return merchandise. I was also rudley yelled at by an employee at this location while going to the escalator all because she wanted me to pay for a weekender bag at her register. I asked the associate upstairs if there was a rule regarding where I have to pay, and she told me they were not. I was so mortified because this lady was yelling at me in front of other customers, acting as if I were going to steal it.

Fragrance department is amazing! Kathleen and Dalila were super helpful and gave us a few extra samples. They knew exactly what we were looking for with just a few details or examples we gave. They really know their stuff there!

Stopped by fragrance shopping, wanted to get a few samples in order to see how they work with my body and was told I could only get two perfume samples in the entire store. Idk if they’ve changed the policy or if the lady just didn’t want to create a sample. She didn’t seem very enthused, I got the vibe that she really didn’t want to assist me, she also told me she hates making samples, which is crazy to say to a shopper.
I was a manager at a Dillards in a different location and we never had a limit on samples. Of course we weren’t going to sit there and make or give 20 samples to one person, however, giving a potential client 3-5 samples to help them make their decision hurts no one. Whether they buy from you or not, it creates a good impression of the store and the sales rep and that person is more likely to shop with you. I know each counter has sales goals, so the way you treat people ultimately determines how successful or unsuccessful your counter will be in sales.
I see why this location is empty. Your employees judge their shoppers and pick and choose who they provide good customer service to. I’m sure the lady assumed I wasn’t going to purchase anything today because of my appearance, although I actually intended to. I was just wanting to see what else I might like so that I can purchase more at a later date. I ended up making my purchase at a different retailer, where the fragrance staff was alot nicer and welcoming.
I’ve trained plenty of sales people, and the number one thing I taught them was never judge a person based on what you think they’re coming to spend, treat everyone with kindness, and as if they have purchased something already. You never know whose in front of you/what kind of money they have or come from, never know what they are actually willing to spend with you if you create a good first impression and build rapport. That was my first time at this location and I definitely won’t be back. The lady that works the first fragrance counter(Dior/Tiffany/Gucci) when entering from the 2nd floor is who gave me a less than good experience around 12 pm on 9/11/24. And it’s not solely bc of her limiting samples, but also because I got the feeling she didn’t want to assist me anyway, she was very hesitant, not welcoming, not acting like she wanted to sale me anything. Please do better.
