I had an excellent experience at Driver’s Edge Auto Repair today. I was greeted at the door by Steve, who immediately took care of me even though I arrived without an appointment. He let me pull my car right up to the front and performed an on-the-spot inspection. The diagnostics included clear photos and detailed explanation, and he quoted me a fair, transparent price for the repair.
They took the car in right away and even provided a complimentary ride home while the work was being done. Angel drove me back and forth—friendly, professional, and right on time. The total turnaround was about two hours, and everything was handled efficiently and respectfully.
They mentioned that I was due for an oil change, but when I told them I prefer to change my own oil, they didn’t pressure me or try to upsell anything. They only recommended what was necessary and ended up replacing one tire and doing an alignment, exactly as needed.
Overall, I felt well cared for from start to finish. Honest service, fair pricing, professional communication, and genuinely good people.
Highly recommend Driver’s Edge.

Drivers Edge is one of the best maybe the best automotive repair shop in the Dallas area. Their mechanics are honest, thorough, top notch professionals. They also provide customer service that dealerships and other shops rarely show. Keep up the up the good work!

Juan was extremely friendly, helpful, and thorough. I greatly appreciated him showing me photos of what needed to be fixed and explaining the reason for the needed repairs. I came in with a check engine light on, and Jordan did an excellent job on the repairs. I appreciate all of the staff’s honesty and hard work. Highly recommend this auto shop to anyone. Will be returning!

kinda surprised to see the Manager Barry push more towards his son doing the work on the side cheaper than doing it in the store for more but having a warranty, does not seem like good business practice i do not recommend

Personnel are always friendly, efficient and customer service focused; I have never experienced any problems or issues with the repairs/work that needed to be done.They do a really good job of explaining the specifics of the needed maintenance/repairs.

I came to drivers edge because it was the closest auto shop I had my son in the car we smelled gas fumes and knew there was a leak I knew how serious it was so I took my car in to find out what part I needed to have replaced or fixed for the leak. I had to pay $108 for diagnostics and all I got was a photo of the fuel tank leaking it took them approximately 20minutes for them to pull my car up and did a quick spot check which I had already done just not underneath.. I left with no diagnosis and when I called around to different auto shops they said I had to pay another diagnostic check because I paid for nothing they couldn’t quote anything from just a photo of a leaking tank. Then when I told the other auto shops I was quoted $670 for 3 hours of labor for them to actually take the tank down to diagnose the real issue I knew that was garbage and glad I did because the next shop I took it to they took 20minutes to drop the tank and tell me I need a new fuel pump. And only charged $220 for labor to find the diagnostics and replace the fuel pump. I am beyond dissatisfied. I was told I would get a call but only to get a call from the same man who took my money and quoted me the high labor fee and then didn’t provide any solution just saying oh well I guess I didn’t explain more when you were here the first time that we didn’t just take a picture we checked more than that. Then I asked to speak to a manager and he said he will have to call you back then hung up and still no phone call from anyone else. I guess I will just have to complain to better business bureau because as a woman I felt I was taken advantage from and the other auto shops made it clear that I did not pay for a diagnosis and the quoted labor and time was too much for just checking the fuel tank. Do not go here at all costs if you are a woman or want to be charged a lot for a job that takes 20-45 minutes for 3hours!

Have been using drivers edge for years and this time they diagnosed the issue with the a/c and fixed it, exactly as they said they would. Will be back again!

These guys really saved me, I was just about to get on the road for a 3 Hour Dr. and needed some air in my tire. And a mechanic friend of mine had told me there was a rattle he heard in my car recently, so I just ask them to check it out here at the shop.
It ended up being a pretty serious issue and may have even caused an accident On my way home. Thank God these guys had my back and got my car fixed and me. Headed home the same day.
