I took my car to this location for a safety inspection. Well, when all was said and done, the technician came out and said that I passed the inspection, however, THEY CHANGED THE AIR AND CABIN FILTERS WITHOUT ASKING! They then advised me that I needed a wheel alignment. My car is a 2018, just turning 12,000 miles. No, I don't need an alignment as I took my car to my personal mechanic and within 5 minutes, he advised that Driver's Edge was full of it. I will never take my car there again. They are scam artists. Think twice before going there. My safety inspection ended up costing me over $200.00. I would give them 0 stars, if I could.

1st time customer. Good service and Good prices. I will definitely be going back. Devon and Earl were very friendly and knowledgeable. They got me in and out in a timely manner for my oil change while I was on my lunch break. A very warm and welcoming environment.

Earl was kind and helpful! He deserves 10 stars! I went for an inspection not expecting anything to be wrong, but a lot was unfortunately. I made an appointment for a state inspection (11am on a Monday) and waited over an hour - after an hour of waiting I went back up to the lobby to ask about the status of my vehicle in which they then checked me out. I had asked ahead of time about the estimated wait time and they said 30 min, yet I was there over an hour, and probably would’ve been there much longer considering I went up to the front myself to check in on my vehicle. Juan was a bit impolite on the phone when I initially booked the appointment - didn’t ask for my name or information, and extremely rude and unprofessional to another woman who came in asking how long a vehicle inspection would take. He also quoted her 30 minutes when in actuality the service time was more than double that. I’ve never had to wait so long for an inspection - what is the point of making an appointment if they fail to honor it?

Took the car in for routine brake pad replacement, was told all 4 rotors needed to be replaced due to uneven wear. Was Quoted about 1.1k for full brake service. Glad I took it to TWO other, different mechanics who both told me my rotors looked decent and they were both absolutel shocked the full replacement was suggested at this point. Saved about a thousand dollars by trusting my gut. Got a better quote, and only needed pads/fluid as I had suspected. No wonder the customer service went from great to couldn’t-be-bothered when I turned their initial fix suggestion down! They couldn’t even explain the issues to me in the first place—“that wouldn’t fix the problem so we aren’t gonna do that” Is all I got out of them. So glad I didn’t spend my money here. Go to somewhere in a less expensive area that won’t try to rip women off.

I first came in in the morning because I knew it would be super busy. I have had such a good customer service experience. The gentleman who took care of me was Earl Bryant. I needed an inspection and a balance rotation and being alone I did not know much about car maintenance. He offered some packages and even lowed some prices down for me. I was able to get everything I needed. I would highly recommend coming to him if you need help. Very very friendly and understanding.

Fantastic customer service! Earl is amazing. Daughter had a major issue, they took a look at it and sent me a full report with color pictures showing me the problem. The 3rd brake light on my car was broken, I bought the part from Amazon and brought the part and a 10% off coupon to the Driver's Edge for replacement. The shop told me that the replacement would cost 1-hour labor ($175), and the coupon cannot be honored due to external part. But the coupon didn't say this case is not applicable.The shop changed oil on my car with full-synthetic oil and the shop told me that full-synthetic oil will last for 6,000 miles. But after the service, I found the sticker still says the next oil change service is due right after 3,000 miles. I don't know what type of oil was really used for this service.

My niece took her car to get her emissions done and was told that it didn't pass due to the spoiler brake light not coming on. Safety test which I advised her to bring to me to repair. She was told that it would be over $400 for the replacement of the LED light assembly! I was totally angry at that she was being taken advantage of. Of course, no estimate was provided by this shop which makes me think that she was dealing with a shady business. After my diagnosis, LED light assembly works, just found a broken connection. Beware ladies of this location in Plano. Not cool.

I wish I would have read the comments before taking my car here but I’d been here before with a decent experience and the work needed this time was very simple. I needed 4 lug nuts replaced on my car, they charged $12.99 per nut when a set of 4 is only $13.49 total. I can understand some margin but 3X? Then they charged $55 in labor for 10-15 mins of work. This is my fault, I sent my daughter to get this done because I was busy. They originally told her almost $200 (completely outrageous) then came down to $117 after a “discount.” Both a total lie. She was taken advantage of. It was a good teachable opportunity for her and honestly it’s a much better/cheaper lesson than hundreds of dollars. However, I will not be doing business here again. Find another shop!
