I had been an Equinox member for over six years in Los Angeles and recently switched from Lifetime after moving to Plano and regretted immediately. Switched to Equinix plano and this location is incredibly clean — honestly it is probably the cleanest gym I’ve ever trained at — which makes a huge difference in the experience. Jeff, who did my assessment, is fantastic. I booked my complimentary session with him as he is very knowledgeable and made me excited to continue working with him.
The only reason I debated between 4 and 5 stars is the equipment selection. For example, there aren’t many options for lateral shoulder raises and a few other lifting staples. They definitely have space to expand, and adding more strength-training equipment would make it perfect for those focused on lifting or bodybuilding, not just classes. Overall, still a great experience so far compared to Lifetime and happy to be here.

Great gym, been here for just about a year. The entire gym is always super clean, the staff is friendly and the equipment is solid. I can always count on getting in a great workout.

I've been a member with them since they opened in 2019. I never had a problem until I've became real busy with work and life and to my assumption I thought my membership was only 1 month overdue after my card has been replaced from fraud and they billed me for 2 months lol. Any how's, communication from the staff to the General manager is horrible and I just gave up on them and wanted to cancel my membership but they couldn't even do that and told me I still needed to pay two months membership to do that even though I never stepped inside the building with my month to month membership. Bad management, bad staff, no accountability for someone to talk to, no corporate number, no supervisors to keep the GM's in check. It's just an ugly mess. Go to planet fitness, LA fitness or Lifetime at least they won't bombard you with extra fees!! Oh and avoid Adrianna she's the worst of them all and no help!!
Edit** still wouldn’t go back unless if they fire the lady manager and current workers. They need to bring the old staff back the ones who started the gym.

Equinox Plano is an incredible gym, and Adreana and Hanna make the experience even better. Adreana is always welcoming, professional, and goes above and beyond for members. Hanna is super friendly, helpful, and makes every interaction a great one. They both bring such positive energy and truly represent what Equinox is all about. Cheers

This is a great equinox although would prefer the location be more to the east by 75 and GWB. That said the facilities are top notch. It's always clean, well kept, smells good, staff is friendly and super easy parking right in front. Love the cold eucalyptus towels that is so easy and dumb yet nobody else seems to have but equinox.
The group classes are where this equinox shines. Never had any issues getting in any of the popular and best classes, the studios are very nice, clean, and well appointed. The only complaint is Pure Strength with David is only 1x per week. That is perhaps by far the best equinox class and need to be far more frequent and needs to be at the highland park location as well. David is perhaps the best instructor of all the classes i've tried.
It's sad to see this location that is so nice and beautiful yet the Highland Park Equinox location is a complete run down filthy dump that looks like a golds gym from 1980.

Loving Equinox Plano so much! I went from zero gym membership to Equinox because…go big or go home? I am loving the group classes, friendliness of the instructors, and the cleanliness & niceness of it all is👨🏻🍳💋. As a novice to fitness, but with a willingness to jump in and try everything, this has been a life changing choice. I look forward to coming every day/week and it’s just been great.

I have an issue with someone leaving notes on my car saying “Have a great day, handsome” since I started my membership here. I reported it to the staff through the concierge service that I was being stalked and harrassed. Shortly after that, management reached out to me where I informed them of the issue, told them who it was, and that I wanted to cancel my membership due to feeling unsafe since I had a potential stalker who knew my vehicles and schedule. Management told me I can only cancel my membership by providing a doctor’s note or showing proof that I moved. They even offered to move my home club to the Equinox in Highland Park. I decided to take a month break and when I came back I saw the creep who leaves notes on my car still there. Management did nothing for my situation. Clearly they do not care about the safety of their gym goers. If you are a creep and like to stalk people, I highly recommend this gym because this is acceptable behavior here.

I was apart of this gym for almost three years and I never ran into any major problems it was always clean and everyone was always so friendly and kind you truly felt the atmosphere was positive and there
I only left because I’m moving away due to school or else I would have stuck around
But equinox Plano is a gem and I’m thankful for all the memories I’ve made here and people I’ve gotten to know
