Had THE WEIRDEST experience here today. Me & my boyfriend came to this Five Below to look for an iPhone aux adapter & possible iPhone cases. While shopping I had to use the restroom. The first restroom I walked into there was PEE ALL OVER THE SEAT… so I switched bathrooms. While in the bathroom, I put the iPhone adapter in my purse because there was no place to set it down nor did I want to set it on their nasty bathroom floors. After finishing in the bathroom I walked out to an older white man store associate just standing there. I started walking & he stepped in front of me & said “Can I have our iPhone adapter back?” I said “Excuse me what?” He said “The iPhone adapter that you’re trying to steal!” I said “excuse me sir, I’m about to pay for this?!” He said “then why did you put it in your purse?” I said “Because I didn’t want to set it down on your nasty bathroom floors”. I then walked up to my boyfriend & told him we weren’t going to look for the iPhone cases here since they think I’m stealing. THEN at check out, I asked the black woman at the front if they take cash payments & she rudely responded “the monitor says card only so no, you can’t pay with cash”. I said “yall have no way to take cash payments??” She then rudely said “yeah. Come over here”. Then as I’m paying for the adapter she rudely takes my cash and rushes us out of the store. I WILL NOT be shopping at the Five Below location anymore

I usually have a great experience shopping here but after today, I will not be returning. I went to check out at one of the many self check outs. The lady working there (bigger lady wearing black lipstick and round glasses) was SO rude and practically screamed at me to go to the other self check out. When I said okay, snatched the things out of my hand and yelled “I SAID that I WILL be the one checking you out.” I have never been treated so rudely by a worker and will not be returning.

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. Went out of my way to come to this store. While my child was grabbing an item from the outside sales bin, I was holding the door open. An employee from the store rudely yelled for me to close the door. I kindly said I was holding it open for my child and she looked at me like I was crazy. No hello. No sorry. Nothing. She walked towards me and I left. Never returning.

( 6/10/24 around 11:30am-noon) The employee, an older black lady, racially profiled me. I was checking myself out and next to me was a white man. She was super nice to him but standoffish towards me. He left and I was still scanning my things. She then proceeded to say " you know I am suppose to scan your stuff for you" and she pointed to a sign. She didn't tell the white man anything, she let him scan his stuff in peace. She made other remarks to me making me feel uncomfortable . She thought I was stealing. This is not okay. I love 5 below but I won't be back to this location. I hope she gets training on how to treat everyone equally.

Contacted store in Plano. I inquired to check if they had a item in stock. They do have and they
stated they could hold at the front register. I’m so happy to locate item.

I’ve been to this location plenty of times, I always find neat stuff and leave happy. I have extremely high anxiety in stores, but usually this chain/location is perfect because I can shop and check myself out then go home. Today, a girl decided she was going to take my basket, check my stuff out herself, then breezed all the way to payment even though I needed to pay a particular way. When I informed her I was going to do multiple transactions, she had an attitude about it, once everything was said and done, the kiosk gave the normal survey about how the customer felt the service was and before I could select my choice, she skipped through it. I won’t be back here after this, possibly not to the chain in its entirety. Why have self check out if you’re going to be rude and obnoxious and not let people use them?
