I have been coming to Gloss Nail for years. I absolutely love the staff and it is the best pedicure and powdered nails that I have found in Plano! The entire staff is wonderful. Extremely relaxing experience and just wonderful atmosphere.

I’ve gone to gloss a couple times with decent experiences. This last time, though, when the nail tech was removing my previous gel (didn’t get her name but she’s middle-aged and has dyed, wavy shoulder-length hair and wears glasses when working), drilled my nails so thin that it started to hurt. For context, my nails are naturally strong and thick, so the fact that I left with flimsy / bendy nails was a huge red flag. The other red flag that confirmed she had drilled way too much was that when the gel was curing under the UV lamp, my nail beds were BURNING. When I asked her why she drilled it so hard - like reallyy pressing down over and over again on my nails - she said some bs about the base still being on there and that the gel is what makes nails thick.
I’ve been getting gel manicures for years, so I know what my nails are like with and without them - they’re not flimsy.
I have had better experiences with a couple of the younger nail techs, though, so IF I ever come back, I’ll make sure to book with them.

I love Gloss!!! I've been going to this place for 7+ years and they all have been amazing to me. They know my name and what I'm getting before I even sit down.
Kenny is the best owner and does a amazing job on my marble nails every single time!!! I miss him and he needs to hurry up and come back from vacation lol
Henry has done my nails and toes the last two times, he's always my go to when Kenny is out!!!!
