I have been coming to see Olivia over the past six months- my face has never looked better. I tell all of my friends about her. She is sweet and professional- and I hope to continue seeing her in the years to come.I do need to make you aware of my most recent visit. There was a miscommunication so I had to see someone else. It was by far, the worst facial experience i have ever had. My face has been broken out for almost two weeks (since my facial)- she did a completely different treatment than Olivia, although I requested the same. Mask after mask with not one extraction. Olivia does extractions every time. My face left feeling dry. But, thats not even the concern. Its the facialist- she talked the entire time. I have a toddler, so the time I spend at the spa is to relax. She wouldnt stop talking, telling me that she could see I was tired, pointing out my wrinkles, talking about herself, and just blabbering on. It was torture. Not to mention the fact that I spend lots of time on my skincare- and she was just pointing out the flaws on my face, without even offering a solution. I would get if this was her tactic for getting me to upgrade services, but she was just saying it to fill the air.I will continue to return, as Olivia and the staff are wonderful here. But I cant get over the past experience, and I think its important that you hear this feedback.

I am compelled to share the deeply disappointing experience I had at the Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Plano. My anticipation for a relaxing 80-minute massage turned into a frustrating ordeal that left me more stressed than when I arrived.Upon booking my appointment, I was looking forward to a day of relaxation and self-care. However, upon my arrival, the situation took a turn for the worse. The manager, Jerami, informed me that there had been a mix-up with my booking. According to him, my appointment was mistakenly booked under a friend's name. While I understand that mistakes happen, it was the handling of this situation that was completely unacceptable.Instead of attempting to rectify the situation or offering a solution, Jerami flatly refused to accommodate me for the massage I had been looking forward to. There was no effort made to understand the situation or to provide customer service that one would expect from a reputable spa. The lack of empathy and unwillingness to assist a customer was astonishing.What was supposed to be a day of relaxation turned into a day of frustration and disappointment. The inflexibility and poor customer service I experienced are not what one would expect from a spa that prides itself on providing a tranquil and rejuvenating experience.I am disheartened by the lack of professionalism and customer care demonstrated by the management at the Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Plano location. It is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority at this establishment. I would caution potential customers to think twice before booking an appointment here, as the service you receive may be far from relaxing.In a world where customer service can make or break an experience, it's disheartening to see such a lack of concern for customer satisfaction. I hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for the management at Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa, Plano location, to improve their service and treat their customers with the respect and care they deserve.

First time at this location. I've always had really great experiences at Hand and Stone, but this session was just okay. The therapist seemed to be the only one there and not really interested in working.

I want to mention about my facial. It was my very first time. It felt short and her phone rang during our session which didn’t bother me until I heard her pick up the phone and set it back down on the table which to me was unsanitary since she was touching my face bare handed too. I would assume she would mute or not even have her phone during our session. Was hoping for her to let me know each time what she was putting on my face. She told me my face was dehydrated and that she recommends a hydration treatment which was $40 extra dollars. So I was assuming it would be a full hour session. Felt like 40 minutes. Not even an hour. I won’t be going back to this location for a facial. But I will come back for massages ? I’ll be looking somewhere else more professional for a facial.Want to say that I loved my massage. I saw some reviews about the massage lady stomach grumbling. Which is normal since our bodies do that sometimes? Didn’t see a problem with it just maybe thought she was hungry lol didn’t really bother me! She was great and gentle and definitely released tension on my neck! Forgot her name :( but thank you! - Brenda

Service was very unprofessional. I got a facial and the esthetician was on her phone during my service. Also, the owner/manager is combative, rude and the customer service is awful. The team made a scheduling error with one of my appointments and instead of fixing the error the manager berated me, told me that it was too late and then hung up on me. When I went into the store to try and speak to her she threatened me and told me it was my fault the appointment was scheduled incorrectly and there was nothing she could do. Absolutely awful person and experience I will never go back here. Take your business/money to another location this one is awful and doesn’t care about the customer service experience AT ALL. She also did NOTHING for me when I told her my esthetician was on the phone during my service. Don’t touch my face and then touch your phone. That’s disgusting.

I really enjoyed my Swedish massage with Himalayan Salt stones. The massage coupled with the stones removes most of my soreness when I’ve not had a massage in a few months. My only complaint is I was never offered any water before or after my service. Although I still tipped accordingly I have never had a massage and not been offered water and/or advice to drink plenty of water during the day. At $100+ the least one can do is offer the customer some water.

Friendly staff with an understated but soothing environment. My deep tissue technician was strong and knowledgeable. They focused where I asked and did well still covering all the muscle groups.

Jamie, the owner, is rude and inconsiderate. Our membership was purchased in Addison but according to the policy, you can use any hand and stone massage in the area. She always makes it very difficult for us to book, and in our last conversation with her she flat out refused to book an appointment for us. She blamed the therapist and said that the therapist did not want to see either of us. Very insulting. I will never go back there.

Was able to get an appointment easily. Wendy did my massage. She asked me for any focus areas and concentrated on them. The amount of pressure was perfect and I have felt significant relief since the massage.

I asked to cancel my account three months ago, but realized today I've been charged $10 each of the last three months without consent. Their billing practices seem deceptive. When I requested a refund, they refused. They could not provide corporate's number since locations are franchised. The owner's contact information remains unknown despite my inquiries. I am troubled that they continue billing canceled accounts and are unwilling to refund unauthorized charges or provide owner information when asked.
