I came in with a very specific haircut in mind, frustrated with the state of my hair (ladies of a certain age, you know what I’m talking about), and similarly disenchanted with being unable to find a hairstylist consistently skilled in both cutting and color. On my first visit, I spoke to Maya the owner about what I was hoping to find in a stylist, and even shared a video of a cut I was wanting. She had me text the video and she set me up with Stephanie.
Stephanie listened to what I wanted and asked clarifying questions, and then got to work. 3 hours later, I actually feel like I have a different head of hair. The color is gorgeous, the cut is exactly what I wanted (not easy to achieve on fine, blond hair!), and SHE TAUGHT ME HOW TO STYLE IT. Sorry for the all caps there, but that’s a big deal. This is my forever salon, and Stephanie is a wizard!!

I became a client here a few years ago, after a good friend of mine recommended this place. Mya, Michelle, and Stephanie are all amazing! I have seen them all for various services (cut and balayage) in the past. Just yesterday, I saw Stephanie for a haircut and I decided to add the scalp treatment to my appointment. It was so relaxing. I filled out a short questionnaire prior to my appointment and they had a snack an cappuccino ready for me as soon as I arrived! Most importantly, she listened to my hair goals and perfectly executed my vision. Definitely give them a try if you want a skilled professional who knows it’s not just a haircut, it’s self-care.

It was my first time visiting this place when I was looking for a haircut at the spur of the moment and I was even lucky to get myself a walk in! Stylist Stephanie was super accommodating and cut my hair exactly how I asked! I tend to get haircuts that are kind of out of the norm so I really appreciated the respect of what I wanted done. Definitely recommend this place!

This was my first visit to Illusion Salon and I was thoroughly impressed by the staff and quality of work!
Stylist: Stephanie was my stylist and she did an excellent job as I hadn’t had my hair cut or colored for some time. The cut and color were great!

I had Sarah as my stylist/colorist. She was awesome. I brought her a mess of gray hair with multiple colors in- some that my daughter did. I told her the colors I wanted and told her to do what she thought was best. I haven't had a dedicated stylist in more than 20 years. Now I do! I won't go anywhere else.

I got my haircut by Stephanie yesterday for the first time and she did great! I've been looking for a new hairdresser as my last one (that I went to for years) ended up not working out. Once I find someone I love, I stick to them! I think I found my gal :)
I was so impressed - once I scheduled the appointment and Stephanie confirmed it, I received a survey the day before my appointment for a personalized experience. Basically, you get to choose if you want a scalp massage, essential oils, an eye pillow (wasn't sure what this was but it's like a warm compress laid on your eyes and is HEAVENLY), an extra scalp massage, what drink you'd like...etc. I've never had that offered at any salon, no matter how high end. I thought this was so neat and really set this salon apart from the others.
Stephanie was on time and very efficient. It took less than an hour to do my hair (although we didn't style it, just blow dried as I asked), and this included an extra scalp massage!!
The salon was clean and well maintained. I can't wait for my next appointment in 3 months!

Stephanie cut my hair for the first time on Saturday and did a phenomenal job. I could tell right away she was very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She was very friendly and personable and was easy to talk to. The shop was very clean and had a nice inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend you go see her asap!
