Yesterday I checked out using the Self Checkout machine. It failed to scan the grapes. I waved to a worker who stood in the area and whose job was apparently to assist customers using self checkout. He was a middle aged man wearing a name tag reading Ashok. The first thing he said was "This is the Self checkout line. You must know how to use it or you go to the manual checkout cashier.". I held my temper and did not tell him point blank to watch his attitude. This is so rude and inappropriate. So absurd. To be fair, he did subsequently help me scan a couple items and did not say anything further.
On the other hand I must add that the pharmacy staff was good. However it did not carry the medication I need and directed me to another Kroger pharmacy 5 miles away. It was not the first time. So I am going to switch to another pharmacy.
Edit: The above comment was about the old market across the street. As to the new one, the self checkout scanner usually was unable to scan the Reduced Price tags. And there is no more water refilling machines outside.

Watch it! I grabbed flowers with $7 sticker and it scanned $8. If you are not paying attention? You loose….

I don't know how many times there was pricing error. Produce displays discounted price and discount is never applied at checkout even if you have a Kroger membership. For example grapes were discontinued at 1.77/lb and still no discount applied at checkout.

Shopped at store on Friday and checked Seafood department to make sure the steamer worked for shrimp. Was told it was in working order. Two days later went to store to get 3lbs of steamed shrimp and was told steamer didn't work. This location is brand new. Headed to HEB. Way to go Kroger, HEB didn't have to steal a customer away, you gave them one.

Expensive.
Oscar Myer ham cost $4.37 @ HEB. $4.37 @ Walmart. At Kroger, they sell it for $8.99 and it was on sale.
Other products were pretty pricey as well.
I love Kroger, but this isn't the place i would visit for grocery

It is a nice store but every time I go in there, they always charge me to much for an item or ring to many items up. I tried to correct this with the cashier but Dipak insisted that he didn't ring too many items up. It just irritates me more than anything.

Purchases half a pie from clearance rack and it gave me the poops. Milk doesn't taste very fresh. Blue collar staff ignore me. Do I have to sit on your lap and purr? Didn't expect low quality. Hope the new location tastes better.

The cash register price and the shelf price are always different. The cash register price is higher. Do I have to constantly check the prices!!!

This bag of chocolate chips was $13.49 at this Kroger. It’s $9.87 at HEB. The only reason I went to Kroger was because I just needed this one thing. This is one good reason why the HEB parking lot is always crowded but Kroger’s isn’t. IDK how Kroger thinks that a brand new store will make up for a fruits and vegetables department that is constantly out of things like fresh basil. One time I went in, not around a holiday, and they didn’t have any broccoli. In addition, they are always understaffed. This will be the most expensive chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever made in my life.

Dont like all the new changes. The little opening bars when you walk in I feel like I’m in a jail or school
Have not been in Krogers for years now cause HEB feels more welcoming and better prices

I ordered online so I could pick it up after work, but one of my items was open. (That’s why I put a 4 star instead of 5) The employee was nice and loaded the groceries onto the car. Everything was quick and easy.

Customer service is not open at advertised hours. They give no reason. No one can help. This place is struggling to operate. Do not waste your time if you are trying to do car registration, money order, etc.

I’m so over Kroger. The last four curbsides I’ve received, have had rotten or spoiled food! 3 had rotten fruits and vegetables. I would never realize until I would get home since it was put in my trunk and I shouldn’t have to go through all my food in the parking lot. I stopped getting those from there. Then my last curbside, I ordered one large thing of sour cream. They gave me two that were smaller. Got home started cooking and opened and it was spoiled. Thank goodness the other was fine since I was in the middle of cooking. Then I ran by the other day and got deluxe Mac and cheese three pack. Last night went to cook….open the cheese and a hard brown glob of rotten cheese fell out. I went and opened another box and opened the cheese, same thing! I threw them both in the sink with the noodles and went to Taco Bell! Super pissed!! I’m so sick of getting bad food here!! Groceries are to damn expensive to have them all be rotten!! Ive complained but they ignore my emails. I didn’t take a lot of the pics because I would just get so mad and slam it into the trash, but here are two. I’m just done! I’ll go to HEB or Walmart from now on!
