I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not go here! This place is a scam. They are not qualified, they are unprofessional, and they will try to sell you things you don’t really need and cause damage to your vehicle. Please save your time, money, and your car and avoid this place at all costs.

I'm one to NEVER write a review as I tend to be very accommodating and laid back, but the ongoing situation i'm experiencing at this location has been very distasteful, disrespectful, unprofessional, and shouldn't be tolerated at any level. As i've gotten my car serviced here before in the past, this will 100% be the last time I come here. Prior to bringing my car here this last visit, i experience no issues in regards to low coolant and overheating. But very soon after my servicing there, these issues start happening back to back to back. The onsite team there poorly mishandled my vehicle during the time of service and has done the bare minimum to help resolve this situation. (ex: one of their techs gave me a stack of coupons expiring 11/30/23 to use" anytime" because of this). After having to bring my car back there of 4 TIMES IN 3 DAYS to get them to resolve whatever they did to it, I finally requested a refund of the service (which i still have yet to get) and took my car to the dealership to evaluate what happen. The dealership communicated the the damage that was done "very recently" to my vehicle has caused for the car to need a new engine. The dealership provided a Operations Report from my BMW of all the faults that have occurred and the milage marks at which they occurred. All of the faults related to coolant leaking and engine overheating occured DURING AND AFTER MY SERVICE WITH THIS KWIK KAR LOCATION!The Manager said if i was able to provide information about the faults and if it happened on their watch, he would assist in a resolution. I've provided the information to him and he has yet to assist in any way. I've attempted to get in contact with some from Kwik Kar, Full Automative, and Grease Monkey but seems nearly impossible to get in touch with an actual human being. It's looking like i'm having to take legal matters to get this resolved. The team at this location is not fully knowledgeable at their craft and I DO NOT recommend taking your vehicle to this location to get it serviced for any means. Avoid the headache and take it to the dealership. Still trying to get ahold of someone of a leadership level to assist in getting this resolved.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They are not knowledgeable in their craft and will leave your car worse off than when you bought it. Looking at having to get a brand new car now all because the techs and manger screwed up big time when doing an coolant flush (which is a service they offer) my car didn't experience any of the problems it's having now UNTIL I brought it there. The manager is acknowledged there was wrong doing on their teams behave! I've been there a total 5 times within 2 days and the problem is still not fixed. I will be calling their corporate office to get this sorted because this is just unacceptable.

I did not have the best experience going to this particular Kwik Kar. I needed a new battery and one of the associates outside did greet me upon arriving there. When I told him about my car battery, I was told that the wait time was about 20 mins. Turning back to my car, I overheard the mechanic telling the associate that the wait time would actually be over an hour. After grabbing my bag, I walked back into the waiting room and there were people waiting which is fine but I couldn't find anyone at the front desk. I waited for about five minutes but no one came to the desk. I left and went to another Kwik Kar down the road. I understand that they were probably short staffed but let me know the updated time frame, not leave me standing there.

Fantastic customer service. Very personal and professional. Unlike Toyota of Plano where, when I asked what’s the wait time, they told me over phone it would be a walk in for oil change and when I went there they said it would be a 1.5 hour wait for walk ins, and that too very rudely with an attitude of supremacy if you know what I mean! However, Toyota said it would be $ 80 + tax whereas here they charge $ 89 + tax. In any case who knows what the final bill at Toyota would actually be, so I went with these guys and I’m happy.

I Use to work here 3 months ago and prior to I was there for a year and half. The reason for my comment is for the fact I have never been treated like a criminal for asking a question about my property. I had a vehicle parked on the cleaner side and it got towed knowing they had information of the owner and could easily contact him. They called the police so I did as well. Police came to my house 5 min after I left and said he got the info from them on my car, and it showed the address to where he arrived at. How is it a police can get a person info from someone, but I can't get any. As a manager you don't run to the police you try to defuse the problem. The new manager that has been there for a week is very unprofessional. To lie and say I caused a disturbance and I never not once raised my voice is crazy. I just needed information. To know it's a former employee and not reach out to let them know you may tow there car is not manager like. If you have they info then atleast inform them. Police was lost for words. How I make a disturbance when I talked the police in the same tone I talked to you. Next time I will record the whole thing. Seems humans love to lie and not keep it real. Be careful of new manager, I feel he is bipolar

I did oil change before long weekend and had bad experience during long weekend trip… lower engine cover was not fixed properly after oil removal… while driving on 70 miles per hour it came down partially and created big noise… Luckily I found tire shop in 5 miles and they helped to remove the cover and continued long trip..

I seldomly write google reviews. But today my experience with the claimed “general manager, Jimmy” was unpleasant and alarming to say the least. I made my way into this seemingly underbooked Kwik Kar location within an hour of closing yesterday. I was told by the technician per a usual business practice that “I would be charged a diagnostic fee for a 1 hr thourough examination of my car in the amount of $89.99 and if I completed my service needed with them it would be waived” This is pretty standard and accepted by me. I came in and told them it was my starter, and within five-ish minutes they confirmed with me it was my starter and quoted me a well-above market value amount. I was immediately sketched out by the time it took and amount quoted so this morning I went to pick up my car to have got towed to a mechanic I feel more comfortable with. The office manager said "okay sir" when he came storming to the vehicle I was sitting in, and in what I considered to be passive- agreesive tone told me I would need to pay the $89.99. Now I was totally fine with this but I had a question "why was the diagnostic 5 minutes" I was unsure if a complete diagnostic that I was told would take 1 hour would be completed in 5 minutes. Although as a side-note this was me being thourough. It’s $89.99 NO big deal, and the extenuating circumstance is it was the end of business day. So I was not for sure if there 5 minute assessment was being considered the diagnostic. He immediately saying thing to the effect of “you just don’t understand” “that’s not how this works” and “i don’t owe you and apology, but I am sorry you can’t comprehend this.” In my opinion these things are not only unproffesional but DISTASTEFUL and DISRESPECTFUL! “I am sorry you can’t comprehend this” is certainly a gaslighting phrase. Which was totally unprovoked. I let him know although I will pay for it (as I did) that the way he went about it only led to escalating what could have been a minor miscommunication into a big deal that’s resulting in my leaving a google review. Had he just clarified I would have been fine. The gas lighting, the hollering, and the smirking cometary that followed my question was not needed. He went to my car after I paid and attempted to turn on my car and said “see it’s the starter you idiot” and this point he is resulting to name calling? Not to mention I never questioned that the starter was not working. He left my key inside my car on auxiliary mode upon is tantrum and let my car battery die!!!! Yet another thing I’ll need to fix.All of this over an inquiry and clarification as to the timing of the diagnostic. As a sidenote i am by no means a mechanic by trade or car guru, upon research I understand diagnostic times may vary. I only asked because if contracdicted what I was told by the kwik kar rep.Overall I feel like I was mishandled and disrespected. The manager was unwilling to offer an explaination, but willing to gaslight me. Let my car battery die. And I am still unsure that a complete diagnostic was ran…I would NOT recommend this place, and certainly not Jimmy. It’s unfortunate they are not willing to work with me,offer a minimal apology or explaination as I was told “we don’t work with people like you.” Upon leaving. I won’t speculate but I don’t even know what that means. But I certainly wonder if their are social/discrimatory belief factors that played a role in the way I was treated.P.S I tried to explain to him that general managers as a rule of thumb should attempted to diffuse and de-escalate tense situations, be proactive to avoid being reactive and should NEVER gaslight people and incite chaos and confusion. I told him “I just want to be heard.” That’s it. I have zero interested in being uncoorperative or unruly.

Jimmy the manager provided excellent and honest service. The entire team went above and beyond to fix my car at a very fair price. I definitely would recommend this location for any service you require. Great experience, thank you!!Services: Auto water leak repair

Over-priced with plenty of alternatives close by. Don't believe the ads - they'll expire before you can use the other part of that BOGO.

Went this morning around 8 A.M. without an appointment. When I arrived there were no cars being serviced. I asked a young Caucasian man (employee) if they did tire repairs? He responded, I'll ask my manager. The manager (older Caucasian man wearing glasses) comes out and asks the young employee (with me standing there), "what does he want?" The young employee says, "he wants to know if we do tire repairs?" The manager looks at the young employee (with me standing there) and says, "we don't do tire repairs. To confirm, I said to the manager, "so you do not do tire repairs?" He never established eye contact with me but responded, "no we don't do tire repairs." As I was leaving, another employee (Hispanic man) was arriving for work so I stopped him and asked, "do you work here, and if so, how long and does this place repair tires?" He responded, "yes I've been working here almost 3 years and unless the tire isn't repairable, we repair tires all the time." So I asked, "why would the older gentleman tell me you don't repair tires here?" His response, "I have no idea Sir...tire repair is a service I personally do myself so its odd he would tell you that."Not sure how many would label this experience; lazy, tired, disrespectful, misrepresentation, or dishonesty but as a black man, I felt 1000% discriminated against. Unfortunately for the Kwik Kar Lube Corporation, I will never do business with this company again and will be sure to let all my Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, Indian, LGBTQ, Black friends, and social media know about my experience.
