Came to the drive thru for the commercial access and had the worst customer service. The lady literally did not say a word to me and she looked rude and annoyed. Didn’t say a word when she gave me back my deposit slips. Tip: maybe have nicer people interacting with customers and not mean old crusty ladies.

Awful customer experience. Can't get anywhere on the phone or online. So I had to go into the branch to order a new debit card. The guy said he would expedite for 2 days shipping. I call today to make sure it's coming and they have no record of it. No apologies or anything seemed like this was a normal occurrence

Prosperity as a whole is not as good as Legacy Texas was. The online banking app is more difficult use than Legacy Texas and now, Prosperity has stopped taking ATM deposits and they have locked out the night drop boxes. If you want to deposit a paper check, you have to either mail it, use the mobile app (which is not great either} or stop by during lobby hours. What bank would make it more difficult for people to give them money? Prosperity had a bunch of commercials on TV during the transition from Legacy Texas telling people how good the bank is. They are the only ones I know who believe that.

Terrible. I had to close my account and re open a new one. The bank person that did it, 1. Took for forever. 2. Gave me the wrong account number. So not only did I have to update all my bills once, I had to do it twice. 3. My debit card. Was told my address was too long to send it to my home. So they had it sent to the bank. Was told 5 to 7 days. But now im being told 5 to 10 days. Ridiculous do you know how inconvenient it is to not have a debit card? To make several trips to the bank to get cash out. This is terrible service and I am 100 unhappy. I never. Ever had issues with legacy Texas. Prosperity bank is terrible. So tempted to go to another bank.

Stay away from Prosperity bank. I am currently looking for another bank to transfer my accounts. I am very careful with my money. I have been a customer since the bank was viewpoint and then Legacy Texas and now Prosperity. Each transition lowered the quality of the banking relationship. This past month I clicked one incorrect button while paying a bill online and ended up paying $2,000 more than I meant to pay. This was the first of many auto pay payments on the same day and prosperity charged me for each bill. I was on the phone to prosperity telling them that the money was being refunded and it was a temporary mistake but they charged for each one. I moved $1,000 into the account and had $1,000 of overdraft protection. Did not matter. Within 24 hrs, the money was returned to me and my account was once again very much in the green. But Prosperity's fees totaled $175.00. Then they cut it in half. So $87.50 in overdraft charges. Finally, they added a fee for having a negative balance. $20. I called to ask what the new fee was about. Apparently, in addition to the overdraft fee they charge a negative balance fee. So I paid Prosperity $107.50 due to an incorrect click during a payment, which was reimbursed to my account within 24hrs. I'm looking elsewhere. This bank makes financial stress so much worse.
