They came up BIG for me when in a rush and needed a $100 bottle of whiskey for a prominent attorney who was celebrating a special accomplishment. The bailed me out big time and I won't forget it. “HEB is an experience! You have to give yourself time to walk through the aisles and really check everything out. They have so many food/snack items you may not find anywhere else for a good price.
And their butter tortillas are addictive. Literally could buy a bag to snack on after work. Not healthy, but delicious!”
“Our favorite Spec’s location. Every time I walk in I’m greeted and staff always asks if I need help. They generally have an amazing variety and have helped my husband acquire quite a collection of rare and specialty bottles. Management is always great and highly helpful/responsive. They offer a rewards point system that builds towards future discounts. They even offer discounted pricing on bottles for cash or debit transactions. This is a business that clearly has their customers in mind.
Side note there is also the most incredible sandwich spot located in the store. They offer one of the most fantastic Rueben’s.”
“I visited Corner Wines recently for a wine tasting sponsored by Frost Bank. It is a really nice event venue, small but beautifully decorated and the wine is excellent. According to the sommelier, the shop carries an eclectic variety of wine from around the world. While the shop also carries the usual California wines, there are also wines from Greece and Armenia, just to name a few. I highly recommend Corner Wines for the wine, food, and atmosphere.”

I want to recognize David and Jose for outstanding service. David took the time to walk me through the store, explain different spirits and mixers, and help me understand what pairs well together. I’m new to this, and he made it easy without being pushy.
Jose was also very knowledgeable about bourbons and offered great insight. Both went above and beyond — the kind of service that turns a casual shopper into a loyal customer.
I came in planning to spend $150 and left spending $285 — not from pressure, but from genuine value and trust. These two deserve recognition, whether that’s a promotion, raise, or another form of appreciation.

“I was searching for a particular Italian Pinot Grigio Sparkling Wine (Lunaria) and found it here! It turned out to be the ideal accompaniment to the seafood linguine I made at home. Browsed through the aisles and left with more than I intended (mini bottles of Rumchata, as well as specialty foods such as Kalamata Olive Spread and Red Pepper Dip)but well worth it. Javae was the cashier. Friendly, courteous, and helpful. Will happily return to this location.”

“My first time here was last Saturday, the 17th of December. I met with the owner, AJ, and he was extremely friendly, helpful and generous with the samples. The store has a great selection and very competitive pricing. They have a great variety of barrel picks, the store picks are very solid & AJ (and his staff) will help make recommendations of their impressive selection if you need them. My second time in was today, a week later. Even though it's almost an hour's drive away from where I live (more with traffic), I don't think I'll be going anywhere else when it's time to stock up. Love the place!”
“There's a lot to like about the Total Wine store on Central Expressway in Plano. Variety & wine selection especially. But I'm especially sold on your store because of Sylvia. I was looking for a couple of specific bottles of wine, asked her for help & she went above & beyond & at great lengths to assist me. She searched the back room, was up & down ladders. Prices are very similar to specs or total wine but the atmosphere is much more friendly and chill at Angels! Not to mention their whiskey selection includes a good deal of rarities and bottle selects.”
