Excellent coaches. True fitness experts. All coaches have a broad knowledge base across multiple disciplines. There are also top tier specialist coaches for black belt/pro level students. I’m a novice, older than 45, and while it’s been honestly more intense than I anticipated upon signing up, I’m loving it and it’s been great for my overall fitness, alleviates stress, better sleep, and I’m also training with world champion fighters. Come give it a try. You’ll be glad you did!

I was in town for a few days and was looking for boxing gyms that had real boxing training opposed to just cardio boxing classes. After speaking with a few, I knew Mcsweeney Martial Arts was the place to go. I set up an appointment, did a padwork session with coach Mario, one of the boxing trainers and had a great experience. The prices here are extremely reasonable, the gym itself was spotless and clean as well as the bathroom, and the entire staff here is super friendly. I’ll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Amazing experience. This is a competition gym. They teach everyone from beginners to experts. Classes in what you need from professional fighters. Great energy in the space too. Everyone is super supportive and seems to be on the same page. They offer kids classes and breathing classes too. They have an ice bath, full gym, octagon, everything you need, and CLEAN. Coach James and Coach Joe are there for you, seemingly any time. They personally come with us to tournaments and fights and coach us to victory! 10/10

Awesome experience training with the legend James Mcsweeney. He has been a role model ever since I came into the gym, helping everyone individually, pushing us to be our best, and making me a better individual all around. You would be lucky to train with such a great coach and man in James McSweeney.

I went by to see the gym before bringing the kiddos. McSweeney was nice to meet and offered a free class...the kiddos loved it. We joined after! The coaches are knowledgeable and know how to instruct. Entire staff is great. McSweeney's is the real deal but go by and see for yourself and I think you'll agree.

I must say this is the best money I’ve ever spent. During the 6 week challenge I didn’t really let go of my poor eating habits but during the last two weeks I went hard?? When I lost inches and my bathing suit didn’t fit I got serious about investing in myself. I love the encouraging environment.

This company uses predatory marketing tactics on various social media platforms to generate foot traffic. Once inside their facility, do not share any personal information....no DL, no bank information, no credit information because if they think they can take advantage of you, this company will do just that. My credit card was ran by this company and when I requested my money back, the owner refused and tried to bully me back into the facility by holding my funds captive. My bank had to force the funds to be released. This guy then proceeds to tell me, "you have time to go to the bank, but not talk to me. The audacity! So all that occurred in April 2023. On 7/8/2023, which would have been the earlies that he could retaliate for my cancelation for the unrequested services, I received a letter from a collection service company for the $300 that my bank requested from Mcsweeney Martial Arts company to be refunded back to my account. Now my credit has been impacted by this company's decision to invoke predatory financial practices toward a consumer who was really considering utilizing their services. Instead I have to fight to clear my credit report of a bogus collection charge. Stay away from Mcsweeney Martial Arts as no one should be at risk for the tactics invoked by this business.

I had left a 1 star review first and I'm replying to the reply from this business.I'm not really sure what that reply was all about but as a business owner/staff, a simple " how can I convert a 1-star review to 5 stars" goes a long way.The reason for my one star was for the lack of communication and a potential scam. I had signed up from an ad I saw as I'm attempting to find a new gym when I move to Dallas but never got a response. I attempted to call the number few times just to verify the signing up went through but no answer. I actually thought it was scam.My name is in fact Ana and perhaps your comment was just to discredit my review, but I am a real person. I'm not sure what an IP address shows but maybe if you actually ran that you'll see I'm real.I now know this is not a scam so ill add a star more for the quick response to my one star review.

I attended here for a month when I first moved to Texas and it's a great gym for people new mixed martial arts. Every instructor here was super knowledgeable and all the members were friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend trying out James and his crew if you are looking to get active.

been coming to the gym for about two years the atmosphere is great. You can tell the staff care about what they do by the way, they treat everyone inside the gym, regardless of skill level, or reason for coming to the gym they just want to help you reach your goals. If you’re looking to improve health through exercise, or learn a martial art, this is the place to be. they give you an immense amount of tools, classes, and advice to put you on the right path to achieve your goals the only thing left is for you to put it in action.
