Good sales team but this new leadership or owner for services is not trustworthy. Don’t trust the services done esp if your car is post warranty. Quality is terrible, inconsistent. Advice rechecking work done. Often comes out worse than when you brought it in. Had issues with ignition coil where my car decelerated. Told me needed a new battery when it wasn’t the case. Brake flush that led to bigger issues with my breaks. Same valve cover gasket leaking 2 yrs after it was supposedly fixed. I found the one in mini of Dallas slightly better but the best mini service is a shop in Addison. Know Minis well and reasonably priced. Also European autocare (Plano and Lewisville are better). Sewell Service sales (the one that greets you) seem to have a quota pushing unnecessary repairs than needed. They’ve lost their Sewell brand. Complete lack of QA post maintenance or repair. If you love your mini, go elsewhere. I’ve purchased two cars from Sewell and serviced there for 15 years but hit my limit with mini of Plano after another major failure after it was serviced there.

I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience at this location. I had scheduled an appointment for servicing my car and they provided me with pick up and drop off service instead of loaner car I requested. They informed me to pick up my car before it was ready. Consequently, I had to wait for 40 minutes while they completed servicing my car. Moreover, despite their promise to provide a complimentary wash, they did not finish it. When I asked them why its not done, they informed me that it would take an additional 45 minutes, and just gave my car keys!!!

I took my 2024 mini for an oil change and on my way home the car overheated. I called Sewells service department and we had the car towed to the shop. They lent me a rental on Thursday afternoon so I could get home and I advised I was going out of town tomorrow and that I would be back with the car on Monday. (I was flying so I left the vehicle parked). The next day they checked my car and claimed it was a rock that damage the radiator and they had nothing to do with the damage nor was it covered by warranty so they would not cover the damages. They provided me a quote and said they wanted the rental car back. I told them they would have to wait until Monday since I had no one to provide them access to the vehicle until I returned which was on Monday, the day I advised them. THEY HAD MULTIPLE PEOPLE HARASS ME BY BLOWING UP MY PHONE EVEN AFTER I TOLD THEM I WAS ON VACATION WITH MY FAMILY AND TO STOP CALLING ME! I escalated the issue to anyone I could there and all I got was “oh the manager in service is a good guy I don’t think he would do that” or “oh maybe they just heard you wrong” literally NO ACCOUNTABILITY AT ALL EVEN THOUGH THEY RUINED OUR TRIP WITH ALL THE CALLS. MINI USA (another horrible experience) offered me half off the price but I stated I did not want to work with Sewell. I ended up taking my Mini to Mini of Dallas because I got a better quote and was hoping to transfer the discount over to them instead but as I was told by a manager at Sewell “the Local Mini Rep and our Service Manager have a great relationship” so my discount was denied because they only wanted me to do the work at Sewell. I had to blow up their phone until I spoke to someone who had the mini rep transfer the discount. These guys stated over and over that they are alllll about integrity but showed none of it. I Never got an apology for the difficulty they caused me, never tried to work with me on a solution, never took responsibility for their mess ups and when I asked higher ups to investigate why I was harassed for the rental even though I advised them prior to taking it about my trip they said “we don’t record calls or have records of calls made” well I do, I have all the screenshots of the calls and yet they didn’t wanna hear it or see it. My advise, stay far way from Sewell and their “integrity” and stay away from MINI.

I went to Sewell MINI to look at a couple of vehicles and get some ideas on what I want, and I have to say, I'm impressed. The showroom is incredibly nice, big, and clean. The employees are super nice and everything, making the experience even better.
They have a very, very big selection of vehicles, including so many top-of-the-line, beautiful MINI Coopers. The showroom is a proud representation of the MINI brand, and I was super surprised to see the variety and quality of their selection.

I took my 2015 Mini Roadster to Sewell Mini of Plano vs. Mini of Dallas because it is closer to my home and their advertisement says their service is outstanding. I took it there due to my oil light coming on. When I arrived Ms. Khan pulled my maintenance records and advised that it wasn't time for an oil change and that they would check the oil to be sure and reset the light. She also indicated that I needed to change the brake fluid. 2 hours and $230 later she advised that they were finished and that they had reset the oil light and changed the brake fluid. I drive off and within 2 miles my oil light came back on. I called the service center and they said sorry the problem still existed and wanted to know if I wanted to reschedule or bring it back in. I said I wanted to bring it back right then. When I got back Ms. Khan advised that she saw them reset it and she didn't know why it was still showing. First of all, I have never seen the Service Rep watch the Service Tech reset the service light indicator because that is usually checked in the bay areas. So, back to service bay area it went. 20 minutes later Ms. Khan informs me that they told her that my vehicle was 2 quarts low on oil and that as soon as I paid for the oil they would add it. So as we were walking over to the parts dept to pay for the oil, I asked her why that wasn't found when I was there since that was the reason I brought my vehicle in in the first place. She said that the mechanic said he had checked the oil when it was hot and at that time it showed the oil was full. I thought that was strange because the car was just as hot when I brought it back not to mention they had it 2 hours i.e plenty of time for it to cool down and check it. I then told her that I would not be back to Sewell for service that I would be going back to Mini of Dallas. She then called the Service Tech and he told her that he would speak to the Forman and see if they could pay for the oil due to the inconvienance. As a result, Ms Khan said that it was my last service place i.e. Mini of Dallas that apparently didn't put in enough oil (the last oil change was Oct 2023) and that 2012 to 2015 Mini(s) tend to use oil. I don't believe that. I have never seen oil leaking from my Mini. I will give them credit for attempting to make it right (the only resaon I gave them 2 stars) however, I will not go back to them for service again. They definitely don't provide the top notch service as advertised.

I came down from Tulsa to work with Jordan Nagel over the weekend on a beautiful used X6. He was top tier to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend Sewell!

Car maintenance to me is usually the same as how I think of dental appointments... "Well, that wasn't as awful as I thought!" is typically the best review I can do. BUT. I have to say my visits with Sewell Plano has consistently been pretty darn pleasant. What I truly appreciate about these folks (thank you Jamie!) is that they not only take the time to explain what's on the paper recos, but also do a video walkthrough by the technician as he/she is working on the car. Now I don't have to pretend that I understand what's written up, because the technician is narrating what those are on my actual car. Nice. On top of that, the coffee is good, the wifi is fast, and my Countryman JCW came out sparklingly clean. Nice x 2.

We had such a great experience buying a certified pre-owned BMW at Sewell thanks to Maxie and Ta’Tyanna! We had two vehicles in mind when we came to the dealership on a busy Saturday morning. The two ladies at the front desk were friendly and had us talking to a salesperson in no time! The real stars were Maxie and Ta’Tyanna. Not only did they have all the info we needed, but we felt welcomed and not rushed as we went through the car buying process. They were amazing!! I highly recommend them and this dealership!

Got the best service we’ve ever experienced in Texas, ever! We’re from out of town and our MINI broke during the holidays so we couldn’t get home.
Not only did the service folks (shoutout to you both Jamie K. and Brad T.) help expedite our repair and get us back on the road fast, they were also able to help find savings on our overall bill!
Thank you Sewell team!!
