Filling up later in the evening is a charm. The fueling station is virtually empty. The gas pump I was at could use a new pin pad as it is obviously used heavily and the numbers took a minute to register. MDR Rewards seem to pile up quick.

They used to sell e85, now it's ethonal free which is more expensive.
