The mall is basically dead, but this is still a really nice Neiman Marcus. Didn't make any purchases, just walked around for a while. Very nice items with some really great after Christmas sales going on. The store was shiny clean... I could almost see myself in the floors. Haha! Great employees that kept offering assistance with a smile.

It is very sad to note that Neimans doesn’t want anyone’s business anymore. Every time you call no one answers, every time you make an appointment, no one shows up. I grew up going to Neiman’s and it’s just so incredibly upsetting knowing that this is how you treat customers. I hope that the board hires someone who can turn this wonderful brand back around. Otherwise, I see them going by the Jacobsons/Lord and Taylor ways.

The best place to shop for national brands that will last a life time. When I arrived in the shoe dept service was very slow; the three sales reps were assisting other customers. Ultimately, Suzanne assisted me with the purchase and ordering of shoes (they did not have a pair I wanted in stock). Also, Seema in ladies clothing was ultra nice and helpful, not pushy at all.

If I could provide zero stars, I would. Their operator Pumeza is very rude and anyone you ask for is unavailable or they refuse to provide information. When I asked to speak to a manager, she told me no one was availed not even checking. When I asked who was the store manager, she did not know. I was trying to find out where a pair of shoes that I purchased two months ago were. They needed to be repaired after wearing them for a total of three hours. These $900 shoes were not repaired properly after having them for one month. I asked that they repair them correctly and it has been a second month since I have seen them. Trying to find them has been challenging. The shoe sales man Wyatt who texted me about the second repair vanished and Pumeza told me I couldn’t speak to anyone on the phone. She then sent me to Brianna for Neumann Marcus Online because she was the only one available. Apparently, everyone at Neumann Marcus works for the CIA and can’t have their information shared. No one knows who is the store manager and I guess they steal people’s shoes after you buy them.

I have just listened to a conversation with my wife calling Neiman Marcos Customer Support and the WIllowbend store concerning an items she purchased in the store. Customer Service at NM is not what it used to be. Rather than helping her the Customer Service agent told her to call the store rather than assisting. She called the store and the operator connected her to the alterations department rather than customer service. The person in alterations told her they could not help her or transfer her anywhere and she needed to call back. She once again called NM and was transferred to a sales associate who told her that "ONLY" the person she worked with at the store could help her and the she would call my wife back. Truly unbelievable for NM. We all expect more NM. NM you need to up your game before you go the way of the Dodo.

Janet Hanner is the associate to help you throughout the store. A few weeks ago, I was running into obstacles ordering a few bath accessories for my newly remodeled bathroom at a Jonathan Adler store and online through their site. Neiman’s stocks the same items and Janet was able to get these items from a nearby warehouse easily and sent directly to my house. She even offered to have the items sent to the store first if I were uncomfortable with packages left at my doorstep. It was so easy and quick!

Neiman Marcus for many years has been one of my favorite places to shop because it is a luxury retail store that is a staple in Dallas. That being said over the years going to locations such as Northpark has made me feel very uncomfortable. About 20 associates standing around in the Men’s section looking at what each other is wearing. Immediately when you walk into that store you are judged. “Does this guy want to spend any money , or is he just looking, what is he wearing, he’s going to waste my time”. I was desperately looking for a new pairs of jeans because I had slimmed down. I’m digging through piles no one asks if I need help or gave me any recommendations. I left the store with a bad taste in my mouth. In today’s economy I don’t think associates especially in retail can risk cherry picking with their customers. Fast forward I’m in the West Plano area and I stop by the willowbend location. As soon as I walk into the mens section I’m greeted by an associate named Alan. Man when I tell you I could feel his energy it was night and day from my experience at Northpark. Granted I’m wearing gym clothes just came from the gym and any questions I had he was on top of it. Certain brands I wanted to try on because I needed to know my sizing he let me. I didn’t feel rushed and he wasn’t worried about anything else going on, his full attention was on me. Made me feel like a valued customer! Long story short I ended up getting a couplePairs of sneakers and some jeans. Alan is like a hidden gem for neiman marcus willowbend needs to keep him as king as possible. There’s an old saying that customers don’t shop at stores they shop with people this is a prime example. Alan is the reason why I grew to love Neiman Marcus. I’m so glad a bad experience at Northpark didn’t change my feelings about the company. Thank you Alan I will definitely see you soon

It was a rough visit at NM! First we called in to see if they had the Baccarat glasses at this store. You no longer are calling into the store, but instead into a call center - guess what? Not great service! So my grandmother who is in a wheelchair went with us to the store and the handicap button to go inside the store has been permanently removed. She was not happy. The escalator was broken. We took the elevator to the third floor - where we spent 20 minutes in the Chrystal area - alone, with zero attention or assistance. My brothers were looking at shirts on the first floor and never got any help either. However, as we left the areas where we were shopping, NM employees came out of the woodwork to see if they could ring anything up...........So........NM - not handicap friendly, self service, with many employees more than willing to get the commissions.............The end of an era? Nah...............that era is long gone.............Giving 2 stars because you can at least go into the store to look at product in person..........but that is the only redeeming value to the NM store unfortunately.

'I purchased an expensive Cle De Peau Eye Contour Balm with the claim that it visually reduces wrinkles with retinol. I was also told by the associate it could help my eye concealer go on smoothly (which it did not at all). I was not informed of a very limited return window. Tried it a couple of months, found no sign of improvement , and took it back. When the refund was processed I was told in a very cold manner, not by the associate, but by the manager, the policy for returns is just one month. How can anyone assess a product like this in just one month?! I don't like the way I was treated and I will never buy any cosmetics from Newman Marcus again. Nordstrom has always been and will continue to be my go to for cosmetics.

I had some issues with my purchase and was furious until I met Andrea the store manager. She is just amazing- she resolved the issue in no time and then went over and above to ensure I left the store very happy and convinced that Niemans takes customer service very seriously. At no time did she make excuses for the issue but listened, accepted responsibility, was extremely apologetic and was more than willing to ensure the resolution met my expectations.She is surrrounded by an equally amazing staff who worked as a team to deliver exceptional customer experience. My family and I are delighted at the service levels offered and after 27 years as a satisfied customer, we will continue to be a loyal Niemans customer.Thank you Andrea and staff.
