amazing spot with a clean gym and friendly staff. The only thing I can see to be improved is keeping more kids out of the weight room because most of them just horse around. other than that many friendly life guards and just an all around good atmosphere.

Love the pool. Women's locker room is spacious and very clean. Ample parking. Inexpensive membership.

Absolutely a shame that they’re ending the Aerobats gymnastics program after many many years, and so abruptly! Didn’t give the families even a month’s notice. So many sad children. Not the first time the rec center/city of Plano has cut a program with little to no notice and also with the claims of low enrollment. Terrible decision for the community!

Amazing swimming pool for kids and bday parties. But if you have little kids under 5 you'll have to get in the pool with them. We came for a bday party and I was not prepared 😅

Facility has seen better days. Used to be no nonsense and functional, designed by pros. After the remodel it is garish and ugly. Looks like it was "remodeled" by the wife of "i know a guy". Only improvement is the tileless floors in the bathrooms.
Worst part is the pool. It's no longer clean. Pool walls have all sorts of colors growing on them. Browns, blacks and greens. You can also see dome random clean tracks left by halfhearted attempts to scrub it. Used to be the only pool in dfw I trusted but not anymore. At this point I'd sooner swim in one of those ponds or lakes. Whole thing needs to be drained and all the walls cleaned, lines sterilized and baseline chlorine levels permanently increased.
Hours are terrible too compared to in the 00's. Opens late, closes early. And when it's open there are no lanes.
Lol @ all these people saying its great. Cannot imagine what sort of third world environs they came from to Plano. Plano has fallen.

This week I visited pool with my family. Great place to spend time with friends and families. Kids area has to levels. Huge swimming pool with artificial waves (for some reason doesn't work this season). Also private area available for rent. Wonderful!
