Staff damaged my brand new bed by drilling the screws straight through the headboard and refused to take responsibility for the damages. Do business some place else if you're smart.

PLEASE BEWARE!! Negative 1 is more appropriate. The owner is a liar, scammer, and will rip you off. Please believe the other reviews how Essi sales overpriced furniture. The complete Jenny bedroom set is $999 at Talla on Harry Hines. Hopefully my review will prevent anyone else from being screwed by this criminal. Smh. Sad excuse of a human, taking advantage of others. May God have mercy on your thieving soul.

I went in to the store and had a pleasant experience UNTIL I got home the day of the delivery and found out they gave me a BROKEN bed frame and simply added in random extra screws to cover it up. I was super disappointed because I really loved the bedroom set. I contacted them, and they told me to email them photos, but they ignored all my follow-up contact. I would not trust them ever again.

Warning!!! to all customers. "Opus Discount Furniture & Mattress" and the owners; Mr.Essi and his son are really bad crooks and scammers. They will make false promises that they do not deliver on, and charge you double or triple the price of any furniture that you buy from them. They claim that their furniture is authentic, but it all comes from China made with fake materials. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying anything from them as you will not get your money back. This was the worst experience buying furniture in my life. I will never do any business with them again.

Absolute worst experience of my life. I have never thought buying a couch I would be deceived and lied to multiple times. And on top of that we did not get what we paid for. Pitiful business and I would urge you to spend your money elsewhere. This place does not care for their customers and my husband and I are very distraught.I am going to get into the details. Note: we bought a Jackson Furniture sectional mammoth grey. The weekend after Thanksgiving (Nov 30th) my husband and I went furniture shopping to find a couch. We just moved into our apartment and needed a couch quick. We went to every furniture store and was told the couch we would want would take 4-6 weeks. We came across Opus Furniture on Saturday (12/1). The selection in the store was very scarce. We were stopped by the owner Opus on the way out the door and was told he could get us a couch by Monday. He pulled out a magazine and we found the couch we have been looking for. A overside grey "U" shaped sectional. He then again told us that he could have it delivered on Monday. We then asked how much and he told us $2600. That was more than we were willing to spend, so we left.On Sunday (12/2) my husband and I went furniture shopping again. Same thing. No one could get us a couch for 4-6 weeks. So we decided to go with Opus since he could get us a couch by Monday. We call him and he told us that he checked with his distributor and they had it in stock! We negotiated the price to $2200. That included delivery and the ottoman. He was firm that we couldn't buy the couch without the ottoman. So we thought we were getting a good deal.Monday (12/3) I get a phone call from Opus around 1:30 pm. He says, "Your couch has been promised to another customer. Another one is coming Wednesday. I PROMISE we will get you your couch Wednesday." We are ok with that. Wednesday wasn't that far away.Wednesday (12/5) No phone call from Opus by noon. We don't know when they are delivering it. We call Opus. He tells us the truck never showed up in Mississippi. He then tells us, "I PROMISE it will come Friday." We are ok with that again. We were slightly annoyed but Friday was not that far away.Friday (12/7) It's early afternoon, still no phone call from Opus. We initiate the phone call AGAIN. We ask when they are delivering the couch. He then tells us that the couch did not show up again. He says again, "I PROMISE Monday delivery." At this point we were frustrated because he kept promising and giving us his word.Monday (12/10) We call Opus around 1030am and ask about our couch. Apparently their guy isn't there yet and they have to pick up the couch. My husband told Opus that the elevator broke down in the apartment last Tuesday and still was not repaired. Opus said that would not be a problem. My husband cleared his morning schedule to help with the delivery. He had to go into work at 1pm. Still no couch. Around 3:30pm they show up with the couch. This sectional was massive. The poor delivery guy Bryan was all by himself with this couch. We couldn't fit the couch up the stairs with the dolly because of the turn up the stair case. We ended up sliding the couch up the stairs, then titling it on the arm, pivoting it and then sliding it up again. It was too much work for 1 person to do on their own. I physically helped and pushed the couch up the stairs. Mind you I am 5'6 120lbs. My husband was upset that I had to help and that Opus did not send 2 guys since he did notify him in advance that the elevator was out. Opus rudely said, "It was no hassel to you!" (As I iced my back). And then the ottoman was not delivered and there was a tear in the sectional. We notified Opus. He wanted us to give him another $400 for the ottoman when it was INCLUDED in the price when we bought it. He also did not offer to replace the tear in the couch.End of the day, TERRIBLE customer service and Opus is a CON ARTIST. Nothing was ever offered to us to make the situation somewhat ok. His morals and standards is APPALLING. We paid

My wife and I spent 4 days conversing with Rooms 2 Go and were made many of promises about warranties, mattress covers, blah blah blah but the second we put $800 down on our children's bedroom sets within 20 seconds we were told they didn't have any of the furniture they had been promising us! Long story short we spent the rest of our day "8 hours +" Going from furniture store to furniture store until we finally landed ourselves at Opus's store at about 7p.m. Opus went above and beyond to stay after hours and score through catalog after catalog with my wife and I until we were perfectly happy and spent hundreds less then we would have at any other store in Dallas! I highly recommend anyone to go to Opus if you want prompt and truthful service! THANKS OPUS FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE!
