Why would you go here if you can go to discount tire where they’re so professional and all about customer service. This place was dingy and dirty and the technician just didn’t care about doing his job the right way. The tire pressures were wrong and he didn’t put any valve caps after buying all new tires for the car. Severely disappointed in this location.

I booked an appointment online and when I showed up they said they didn’t offer the service on sundays. I was needing a diagnostic and an oil change. They only do diagnostic Monday-Saturday 8-6. Was told to come back during those hours and they recommended doing the oil change at that time.

I came in, I stood there for at least a good 30seconds and that guy never once looked up.
I needed a tire replaced, decided to go somewhere else. People like that is what hurts good businesses/companies

I scheduled my appointment through their website, which was simple and efficient. In the notes section, I detailed everything I wanted to be checked and fixed. I had a wheel alignment, oil change, and tire rotation done, and they provided me with a quote for these services. Additionally, I asked them to check my TPMS sensor, as the warning light kept turning on and off despite the tires being at the correct pressure. I inquired about the cost of replacing all four sensors, but the staff couldn’t provide an estimate, saying they would call me after inspecting the sensors.
However, they never called. Instead, I received an SMS notification that my car is ready for pickup. When I arrived at 5:30 PM, I discovered the issue wasn’t fixed, and all the mechanics had already left the shop, even though the shop was supposed to be open until 7 PM. Now I have to bring my car back again. I also asked to send my receipt to my email, which I also did not get it. The entire experience was very unprofessional and inefficient.

I got a flat Christmas Eve and waited until after the holiday to call them because I bought my tires here. However she wasn’t trying to look up warranty. I told her I was away from my car because it’s currently pouring. She proceeds to ask me to check my tire size or if I have my receipt. I informed her again, I wasn’t in or near my car and then she asks me if I know about the “glove compartment” area in my car. I drove 40min to another location where they had some common sense. Thanks Ruby or whatever your name was

I wish I could gave negative stars!!!
I was there and Asked them to give me an estimate to fix an issue for my car which I was already aware of it ! they said they have to check the car before giving me an estimate ! after one hour the gave me an estimate which was high and I said I had to shop around to get a better deal ! They asked me for $ 110 for diagnostic !!!! I told them I already told you what the problem was and also you never told me about diagnostic cost !!! They guy upfront name Rashad was super rude and told me he did not give the key back until I pay the money ! why do I have to pay for something I already knew ?? It is funny because they came up with the same result as well !!!!
never trust this place !!!!

I went there with my suv's power steering problem. They diagnosed power steering pump leaking and quoted about one thousand dollar. In the estimate, they show 2 & and a half hour labor cost, and aftermarket parts about $500 (dealership quoted original parts for $465). At that time, I didn't have the money, so I paid them for the diagnosis and said I would do the repair later. Requested them to top up the power steering fluid so I can go back home safely, but they denay to top up fluid. I also requested to show me the power steering reserver as I bought the car a few days back so I couldn't locate the power steering reserver. They refused to show it and asked me to go to Auto Zone or Advance Auto for that. Later, I fixed my car at Felix Auto. They took just 1 hour to do the job. My total cost was $250, including parts and 1 hour labor cost.
Pep Boys claim they do dealership quality job so the charge like dealership.

Unfortunately, 0 stars is not available. This was just a total fail on customer service. I made an appt on their website. I picked one of the available times, 7pm. They are open until 8pm. I arrived at 6:35. Told whoever waas running service that I was there for my 7pm tire install. Mind you, I made an appt on their website. They listed the times, I picked one.
I was then told there was no way they could get that done. I just came into late. I let them know that I made the appt on their website, but I was refused as they just didn't have enough staff.
So what could have made this better? Well, calling me and telling me that they couldn't keep the appt for starters. That would have been nice. Instead, he tells me to come back tomorrow, but before 7pm. Right. Can't wait.
On the way home I stopped at a Firestone that actually closed at 7 (it was now 6:56). They are going to take care of me tomorrow.

I purchased four Kumho Solus TA51 tires from Pepboys.com and selected this store for installation. The website indicated that the tires would be available by noon the following day, so I scheduled the installation appointment for 6 PM. However, when I arrived at the store, the service advisor informed me that they would install American tires instead, despite my purchase of Kumho tires. He claimed they didn’t have the tires and refused to investigate the issue, stating that I would need to do it myself. He suggested I return the next day, as it might take 24-48 hours for the tires to arrive.
When he questioned whether the tires had been sent to his store, I showed him the confirmation email from Pep Boys, which included the store address and details of my purchase. After 10 minutes of back-and-forth, the service advisor finally asked if I wanted to accompany him into the store to check, as he insisted they didn't have the tires. However, when we went inside, the tires were right there at the front.
After the tires were installed, I inquired about the warranty, but the advisor told me that I would need to handle it directly with the manufacturer. To make matters worse, my invoice incorrectly shows that I purchased four XS0 American tires, leaving me with no proof of purchase to register my Kumho tires and activate the warranty.
Overall, the customer service was extremely disappointing. The service advisors showed no empathy or willingness to resolve the issue. I would never recommend Pep Boys to anyone.
Update - The manager gave me a call and apologized and ensure that he would coach the store supervisor. I updated the review to 2 stars. I appreciate it when you own up to your mistake and make a sincere attempt to rectify the issue.

Bad customer service, I went there to get four tires, the guy who was helping me trying to offer me other service, when I say No to them, he had an attitude. I ended up telling him I will be back next day. Which I never did.

The worst place you can go since you arrive they don't take care of you well, the man who is at the reception and speaks Spanish is very rude and very depost I felt discriminated against for being a woman, not speaking English and her way of treating me and he didn't solve my doubt I would never return
