Eric is the rudest employee I’ve dealt with anywhere. And I don’t make that statement lightly. I like this store and have bought and sold here for years, but will avoid coming in on days he’s working there. There’s been multiple occasions while browsing the store, I’ve overheard him raising his voice and speaking down to customers on the phone. I couldn’t believe the tone and disrespect, a real jerk.

I was ready to purchase a set of clubs at about $400 and a few hundred dollars worth of weights.. I asked to use restroom for a quick sec and the kid at the front said , we don’t have bathrooms… (I could see them from the weight section).he Said to go next door or down the street… we’ll, so much for buying local… headed to Academy… At least they know customer service.

Giving 5 stars because you're the closest sporting good store that buys used disc's. I would recommend a couple things. 1. Try offering more $ for disc's based off the plastic, (star, champion, dx) I would also like to be paid out in Cash and not by a check. That is just extra time out of my day having to go to the bank and cashing it. I could drive to mckinney and sell 10 disc's (star/ champion plastic) and get $40-$45. When I bring 10 disc's that are star/champion plastic to PIAS I'm offered $10-$15 less. I could sell the same 10 disc's for $5 each at any course in dfw. I get PIAS wants to make a profit off buying used disc's but don't offer $3 for a disc that you are going to turn around and put $8.99 on it

Very racist dynamic based off tone and attitudes.they say “buy, sell, TRADE”And I just wanted to trade for a larger size helmet exact make and model new from academy and was told they do not trade because if they did they wouldn’t make any money.!

Great selection, gear here is taken care of well and the prices are perfect for the recreational player of all sports. Ryan and Josh will help you take care of anything you need and are very knowledgeable.

Selling process is super easy and seem less, offers are very fair if you understand how reselling works. Would and do recommend to friend for buying and selling sports gear.

DO NOT PURCHASE BIKES FROM PLAY IT AGAIN SPORTS! They carry a mountain bike brand (SevenPeaks) that is absolute garbage. I was sold one in September on a discount, and when I test rode at home, I noticed the cable housing for the derailleur was broken. PIAS offered to pay for service which I declined (it was a cheap repair). I was told from the sales guy that the bike would be great for beginner and light trail riding. Well, everything (literally) has broken on the bike. Every single piece of the bike was assembled with garbage components. I like Play It Again Sports fine, but I wish the sales guys would have shot straight with me from the get go on these bikes (they told me it would handle my size and weight - 6'4" 220lb). SevenPeaks bikes are NOT made for adults; they are more suitable for teenagers under 100lbs, and even then they are a waste of money. I wish I would have just purchased one from Bike Mart... Lesson learned...Edit: I updated my wording. PIAS didn't refuse to pay for the cable housing. My apologies.

Waste of time. Their website says they buy fitness equipment, they list the brands, promote no waiting, just bring it in and get paid. ONLY IF YOU"RE SELLING FREE WEIGHTS. Both the Plano and McKinney locations told me they are only buying freeweights now, no other exercise equipment or machines. Update your website, jerks!

I thought as popular as pickle ball is, they would have some items for getting started. Nothing of the sort.

I went in today and spoke with Kevin. He told me they buy wedges anywhere from $1-$100. I had a like new wedge Callaway raw last years model. Bought it for 160$ played 3 rounds with it. I saw they were selling the same wedge but 58 degree for 130$ in store in the exact same condition as my wedge. So I figured I would sell it for 100$ since that's basically the nicest and highest price wedge in the game. I figured I would take 80$ for it at worst case scenario. Kevin continues to offer me 35$ for this wedge. I was shocked. Biggest scam ever. I was a fan of play it again until this encounter.

I decided to sign my son to football last minute not knowing how difficult it would be to get his gear! After going to the big stores I decided to come here. The staff and Coach Eric were super helpful, they helped me find the correct gear for my son. Thank you Coach Eric, now I'm looking forward to see my son some make some plays this football season!

Eric went above and beyond to help my child get fitted for football gear. He was very patient which made this an even better experience. We will definitely be back.

Completely rude guy at the front counter. I felt like he yelled at me when I was trying to sell my stuff. He said he didn't have time to price my items. I honestly was pretty hot when I left the store. I was going to purchase some softball items but I guess I will take my business elsewhere ?
