I just visited the Regions Bank in Plano off 4020 Preston Rd today, Wednesday, April 9th. The teller, Victor, told me he was too busy to help me when I first walked in. I patiently waited for him to help me, but he told me I was not in their system. I was added to my parents’ accounts last month and the banker who helped us came by to see what was happening. He tried to help Victor remedy the situation, but Victor started making a scene, accusing us of attacking him. I could not believe he said, “I FEEL ATTACKED.” This is the most ridiculously unprofessional and immature behavior I have ever witnessed in any type of retail, customer-facing business. The other teller, the branch manager, and the banker apologized to me on his behalf. Why didn’t HE apologize for his own incompetence? The banker was trying to help Victor USE HIS BRAIN to SOLVE A PROBLEM, and he could not cope. UNBELIEVABLE. You had better believe my parents and I will be taking our business elsewhere. WE are the ones who did not feel safe around a crazy person like him!!!

Drove all the way up to this location. Noticed person walk up to door and turn around and walk right back to their car. I thought ...hmmm...surely this bank is not closed. So, I checked the schedule online again to be sure that it said that this location was suppose to be open until 1p...We wasted our gas and were nearly out of time to drive to another nearer location before all locations were closed. You never know what time and gas people have. This was completely unorganized, irresponsible and unprofessional to treat your customers like this. The sign on the door says CLOSED and it is 12n...What in the world!!!!!!!! Are you serious today...? Now I have to go out of my way to take us to a different location that we could have just gone to in the first place without wasting all this time!!!!!!...Do right by people.

This place has the worst customer service from the desk to the bankers to Sandy, the branch manager. I'm not sure how this woman became the manager of a bank branch with her attitude like it's a bother to help people but she needs to go. She rushes people off the phone and when you ask for contact info for someone above her to file complaints, she says just call the 1800-regions number. Terrible customer service at this branch and it starts with terrible management.

I'd rate this branch zero stars if I could! Today, I visited the Plano branch to make a deposit via the ATM before leaving town. The ATM took my card and did not return it. Frustrated and upset, I went inside to report the issue, only to be met with a complete lack of customer service.
Upon entering, the female teller behind the counter made eye contact with me. I approached her, explaining my situation. She looked at me and simply said, "I can submit a ticket or cancel your card. We do not make cards here." There was no greeting, no empathy, no apology for the inconvenience I was experiencing.
When I asked about my options, given that I needed to make the deposit and retrieve my card before leaving town in a few hours, she repeated her initial response: "I can put in a ticket and tell you which locations issue new cards." I managed to make my deposit using my driver’s license, but her indifferent attitude and lack of assistance left me extremely frustrated and disappointed.
To add to my dissatisfaction, another employee, who alleges she was the branch manager, interjected without any courtesy. She reiterated that I needed to go to a branch that issues cards. Her tone was condescending and dismissive. Despite me stating repeatedly that I did not wish to speak with her, she continued to disregard my wishes, demonstrating a complete lack of respect and customer care.
This entire situation was uncalled for. After receiving my receipt, I began to walk out, only to hear the branch manager sarcastically say, "Wow!" I turned around and told her not to do that. This year has been rough with Regions due to continuous subpar customer service and communication, both in branches and through the 1-800 number. As a Regions customer for over 20 years, this was the final straw.
I hope these employees are addressed and given proper training, as their behavior was highly unprofessional and clearly showed a lack of care for the customer. To the female branch manager, I hope you feel accomplished in being the rudest and most disrespectful branch manager I have ever encountered. Your name, I believe, is Sandra.

First, I want to acknowledge that I was hesitant to visit this branch and open an account, due to ALL the negative reviews I read before going. I entered the branch already leery about what I was going to encounter.I was very pleasantly surprised with an AMAZING experience, from the time I entered the door until I left the branch after opening my account. EVERY person I encountered at this branch on Thursday, July 27, 2023 provided exceptional customer service with a smile and they seemed genuinely happy to serve customers!!! I had the privilege of opening my account with Iris Minor, who is also a loan officer. She provided kind and informative service, politely answering any and all of my questions as well as providing me with bottled water in these sweltering Texas temperatures. I 100% recommend that you give this staff an opportunity to service your banking needs!!!If you’ve been to this branch before and had a negative experience, please give them another chance. I’m definitely glad I didn’t just heed the outdated negative reviews. Please post about any of your recent positive experiences. This staff deserves to be recognized!!!
