Great placeThe only issue I have is ongoing. Somebody keeps taking the straps off the bicycles. I wish they’d stop doing it. I wish the management would put them back on. Half the bicycles are missing straps now. Sometimes I’ll go in and they’ll be one bike with straps on the pedals. Attention management. Please fix and your place is perfect.

My husband and I love Texas Family Fitness. We’ve been going for several months now and the facility is always kept clean and orderly, the machines are very seldom out of order and the staff is friendly and helpful. We also bring our 2 year old son to the kids club every workout, Lydia is the best with our rambunctious busy boy and he is always so excited to come to the gym. 10/10 highly recommend Texas Family Fitness!

This place signed up my 17 year old daughter without getting approval from a parent or guardian. She hadn't gone in almost 2 years since signing up.When I tried to cancel they kept charging her, even though they illegally, and if not illegally, fraudulently entered into a contract with her. Beware. They are quick to get you in, will sign up anyone with a credit card, and will delay getting you out.The first guy I went to was one of their membership people, and when I didn't receive a cancellation email, I went back and the manager said the other guy had not done it in the system correctly. He did it, and said we wouldn't receive another bill. We did.They say they can't process a refund, and you have to go through the finance company. They take the service out of customer service.

Please stay far away from this gym and their shady billing practices. I signed up for myself and my daughter. 3 weeks later I requested to cancel the memberships. The trainer only processed the cancellation form for 1 membership and not both. I was still getting billed a month later. They lied about only getting one form. A new trainer lied and said cancellations are handled in person when their employe completed the form over the phone. They also lied and said signups milestone be done in person and I showed them proof they signed the form for me. Now here we are 2 months later and I’m still getting billed for cancelled memberships. The employee also lied and said of the charges is for the last month I told them that’s incorrect because we were charged for the 1st and last month when I signed up so now you’re double charging me. Their billing company ABC fitness refuses to speak directly with the club and the club says they don’t handle cancellations. They lie about their processes and billing practices. I’ve called the club number out times and was hung up on bc they couldn’t explain the billing or cancellation mess. Please stay far from them. Their general manager is also rude and doesn’t know what he’s doing. It’s very clear they keep memberships active just to meet their sales quota.

Been coming to this location for years. All the machines you need, affordable and team is always friendly. Machines are always clean. Jada at front desk is always polite and welcoming. Great gym.

Be VERY CAREFUL before signing a contract or buying training sessions. Very easy to sign up and get charged automatically each month. Not so easy to cancel.

Read before you buy a membership. Their staff is good, facility is nice, but their membership policy is questionable. If you have an emergency or cannot go to the gym you will still pay for the month. You will need to know 30 days in advance that you need to cancel or you are going to pay for the entire month.No one in customer service can or is willing to refund you if you are charged. So a day after you are charged on your credit card for the month is still non refundable

I had such a positive experience with Karla from first being welcomed in with smiles and hellos to answering all my questions without a hassle! While she showed me around the gym and introduced me to the various membership options. She was incredibly helpful, taking the time to understand my fitness goals and preferences before presenting me with tailored recommendations. Her extensive knowledge of the gym's facilities and programs was impressive, and she patiently answered all my questions, ensuring I felt confident in my decision. Karla's friendly and professional demeanor made the entire process enjoyable, and I can't thank her enough for her exceptional help.

Please read this post if you are considering a membership at TFF.My wife and I have been loyal customers since the fall of 2015, and have gone to the Plano, Allen, and Garland locations. The staff has always been very friendly, and we thought that it was a good value for the money (we have also been members of LA Fitness and Lifetime).However, during COVID, we found out just how difficult it was to suspend or cancel memberships, and how they use this tactic to steal money from their members. They require you to make any changes to your account in person...which was impossible during the lockdown, so for 3 months we were charged membership fees, and when the gyms opened back up, we were firmly told that there were no refunds.Now, earlier this year, we moved, and since another gym was more convenient, we (wife and I) cancelled our membership (individually, in person, as required), and thought everything was done. A month later, we noticed the charges on our credit cards, so called and asked why, and were told that they had "no record of cancellation, and my account was suspended instead of cancelled". So again, we went in person to cancel everything, and were told that "everything is cancelled and you're all set!".Fast forward 4 months and we're still in the same situation, STILL having to pay monthly dues, and we just found out that our son (who is a minor) just had his "unpaid dues" sent to collections even though none of us were contacted or even aware that he had a separate account (vs a member of our accounts).To be clear: none of us have been in a TFF location since May.So, customer beware: if you plan on joining TFF, make sure you never plan on leaving!

I just signed up not too long ago with Karla and the whole process was great. Money was never an issue, The value was and Karla really showed that for Texas Family Fitness. Front desk workers are very welcoming as well! Clean gym.

Great gym, close to my house so very convenient. The members are all kind, the equipment is newly reupholstered, big open turf area for stretching and my warm ups. Love to workout in their Ignite room up front, feels very open with the natural sunlight coming in!

Have had a similar experience as the others. Cancelling has been a total pain. I decided I didn’t like the membership value provided, so I cancelled, or so I thought, in person. Come to find out I was still getting billed constantly for my membership. Went in person again to be told I never cancelled, basically pictures as a liar. Was also told I need to pay the total racked up balance BEFORE eligible to cancel?? So because you did not cancel my membership, now I have to pay the $100+ balance with the possibility of landing back into square one? This was 3 weeks ago. I have paid the balance today because I’m sick of this, and have all of my ducks in a row. TFF, I’ll be showing up in person to cancel this week. Take this review as INTENT to TERMINATE contract effective THIS WEEK. If this membership keeps renewing after cancelling in person no later than Friday, September 22, 2023, you’d bet I’ll be forwarding this to an attorney for some further review.

Best value! So many classes and equipment to choose from. What I love most about Texas Family Fitness is the people. The managers and staff are so friendly and helpful at each location. They work hard to create a welcoming and fun environment for members.

I had a fantastic experience with Jacob and Karla at the gym! They went above and beyond to assist me in exploring the facility and explaining all the membership options available. Their knowledge and enthusiasm were evident as they guided me through every aspect of the gym, ensuring I felt comfortable and well-informed. Their exceptional customer service, attentiveness, and willingness to answer all my questions made the entire process a breeze.
