If anyone that reads this lives near the mailroom, I would appreciate some help because I really don't want to have to travel down there for this. I live in NJ and had something shipped from Texas back in November. I spoke to Johnny before shipping and he said no problem to the parcel. He shipped it and it came fairly quickly, however it was shattered. When I contacted Johnny he was very accommodating and said he would place a claim with UPS and let me know when complete. I followed up once and he said he hadn't heard back yet. Since then I have called and emailed numerous times with no response. This claim is worth a lot of money and I am extremely upset that he is not acknowledging my calls or emails. Is the business closed or is he just avoiding me? Very frustrating.

I see the negative reviews below, and I wish the posters could see why the Mail Room has rules and regulations and specific pricing. My husband and I get all of our mail and package deliveries at The Mail Room and have since 2002. Johnny, the owner, always provides excellent and personalized service. He truly is a very kind man. With the advent of Amazon and all types of delivery services - not to mention the decline in the USPS' operations - businesses like The Mail Room have really, really suffered. The Mail Room is a wonderful service to our area, but let's be honest - it IS a small business. Johnny makes his living and provides for his family through this business. Imagine how difficult it would be to make a living these days when fewer people use USPS, and a big portion of income is seen through the sale of boxes and packaging supplies for UPS and FedEx shipments. It's a hard way to make a living, but it is a vital service to those of us who use it. Johnny's prices are always fair, the location is convenient, and the services are excellent. So grateful for the Mom and Pop shops like this one who serve others in a difficult climate.

We have used the Mailroom for 10 years now and have been extremely satisfied with the service. Zero problems and the owner has gone out of his way to accommodate our busy lifestyle while we are in the road and need mail forwarded.

I had something to mail via USPS, but I may made a mistake to go here instead of directly go to USPS and drop in their mailbox. Because It's after hour and I didn't know that USPS has boxes that I can grab and use. So I went here and saw a lot of used boxes near the door, and no one is at the front desk. So I grabbed one and started to pack, later when the man, probably the owner, in his 60s, came from the back office and saw me, he gave me that very unfriendly face and after he figure out I already have the label printed, just need to drop off, which means he cannot make much money, he was more impatient, and said "you have the label you are gonna pay me for the box which is 50cents" and asked if I want to buy the tape and after hearing I got my own tape, he is more pissed and was act like why I came here. Then he keep saying just go to the post office, just go to the post office, so I dropped a dollar for his box and expected he give back 50cents because he said it's 50cents, but he didn't do that. So I ended up paid a dollar for his used box and got kicked out. Very rude and only cares about money.

I am so thankful for the Mailroom! Any time I need to ship, Johnny is so helpful in finding the most economical way to do it. I love that it is a small business and that he supports other small businesses by highlighting some local made products in his shop. Avoid the long lines and hassle of the post office! Johnny will take care of all your shipping needs!
