DO NOT MOVE HERE! If you value a professional, well-maintained living space, please look somewhere else because this complex has none of those qualities. Iāve lived here for almost 3 years, and this is easily the worst living experience I have ever had. The property is poorly managed, understaffed, and neglectful. Half of the amenities they advertise, like the pool or the gym, are rarely usable because they are āworkingā on them. They have a new property manager every 2 months because nobody wants to deal with the mountain of issues this place has. Maintenance rarely fulfills work orders, and if by some chance maintenance decides to do their job, it takes MONTHS! For example, my apartment went 2 years without a properly functioning A/C unit. In the summer, my apartment would be 90 degrees. I had to practically beg the property manager to replace the unit, and they were hesitant because it would ācost a lot of moneyā. This is a regular thing that happens to many apartments in the summer. Management is more worried about their profit margins instead of their tenants well being. Maintenance will just straight up say they completed a work order and never show up to your apartment. The leasing office is not helpful. The management is the most inconsistent and incompetent team I have had to deal with.

Rats, roach, silverfish, and ant infestations, horrible management, they only want your money. Do not live at this complex!

Iāve been here a year and am about to renew my lease. All the trees, nearby walking and bike trails, and being on Chase Oaks golf course is what does it for me. Also, the leasing office is now more helpful than ever, specifically Luciana (who takes her job seriously) is always eager to help all residents in any way she can, sheās very proactive!

The way this administration operates is to find ways to delay the process, and if you are missing any paperwork they don't notify you, unless you apply pressure by attending in person but they will still make you go around. They basically stole my money for not explaining the prices properly and made me run around with incoherent nonsense to delay this process for as long as possible. After being approved I changed my mind since they increased the price of the apartment and then offered me others that they don't teach you and that didn't meet the specifications I had asked for.
So if you want to apply, read and investigate all the reviews, and if you insist on applying and renting here, look for Miss Luciana who is the only reliable person who explains things to you and shows empathy.

My move in at this apartment was the most stressful thing and such a bittersweet experience. I applied back in August and got accepted in September and my move in was November ( I love to do things in advance so i donāt rush last minute). When I toured the apartment I loved it and told the agent that I wanted the same and I knew it would be some differences and all but not how I expected to be. The day of my move in, I got in the apartment everything was dirty, poop in the toilet, dishwasher nasty and more. Not to mention the apartment did not look like the one I toured and was very small . I was traumatized and asked to get another apartment cause there is no way I would live there. When I told the agent she said I was toured by an agent that quit and in fact the entire management quit and they are all new so itās not their fault etc. Long story short after spending 5 hours at the leasing office I was able to get the apartment I wanted with an increase of $200 rent of course but didnāt have a choice so I took it . The assistant manager was very unhelpful. Shoutout to Chalese and Asia for working this out. So yeah moved in my apartment that I love some maintenance issues here and there 1 got fixed and 2 more to go. Now trying to make the most of it.

I've never had a worse time trying to apply to an apartment before. Prospective renters, be aware.
First things first, they are incredibly slow or outright ineffective with communication. I can't tell you how many phone calls that were unanswered, voice mails not returned and emails I've sent that have received no response.
The staffing agency didn't seem to listen to our needs or understand the urgency behind our move.
We have given them EVERYTHING they've asked for. We paid all the fees. I even offered to prepay the entire lease term in cash up front to expedite the approval process and was told "money doesn't talk here." As a broker associate myself in the industry, I've never heard such nonsense. I WISH my tenants would do this.
At every turn, they found ways to delay the process and outright refused to apply common sense to the application process. They demanded paystubs. We provided them. They claimed they were edited even though they came directly from my company portal. They demanded bank statements. We provided them. They apparently were unable to take both the statements and the paystubs to cross reference legitimacy, even though an entry level finance associate could've easily done so. I provided employment verification for everyone AND an offer letter. They still wouldn't validate income verification. After 4 days of complaining, calling, emailing and trying to hold my job while dealing with this process, I have completely given up. They've basically stolen my money and ran me around in circles with incoherent nonsense to delay this process as long as possible.
Problems with uploading IDs to their system.
Problems with lack of common sense, and relying entirely on a faulty system to do their job when simply cross referencing legitimate documentation should've been more than sufficient.
Upon looking at other reviews, it all makes sense.
Do not waste your time trying to get approved here. The incompetence of their process and their staff is ridiculous. They've had more than enough time. Another complex has managed to complete the application process and approve me in a quarter of the time these people have taken to just throw demands left at right at us and then documentation we provided that complex was the exact same documentation I provided to Thornbury.
Assuming you even got approved, I can only imagine how difficult getting any form of maintenance done would be with how abhorrently disastrous the application process was, and based on the other reviews, I would bet my entire net worth that I am right about this.

Don't waste your time trying to get approved here. I want refund.
Possible applicants, take into account my opinion and the vast majority of negative reviews that this condominium Administration has.
I tell you my terrible experience, before going to inquire about the apartments and the different options they had, I investigated the Thornbury at Chase Oaks website, seeing so many negative reviews of the place, I decided to go directly and go see the apartments, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, since they have incredible vegetation and very beautiful common areas, letting myself get caught up in the place, I ignored the comments, and consulted the administration directly.
The attention was very poor, from the beginning, despite not speaking the language, I tried to communicate with the translator and my daughter, so I was there to ask questions about prices, availability and above all I made a lot of emphasis on how long it took them to give response to the application once it is made. Since in my opinion I was doing it with plenty of time, but I had seen reviews where it took them a while to respond to the client. They answered me that it was 3 days or a maximum of a week to respond.
On the first visit they only showed me two models of apartments, I insisted a lot that I did not want to rent with everything carpeted, and that they explained to me well how I should apply. At no time did they explain to me that there were restricted income options, and that the price they put on the application page could vary significantly; obviously for increase.
When I was going to apply for the apartment they offered me, they later told me that it was no longer available, I insisted that I saw other available options on the page, that they should show it to me. They never did, not even virtually, it seemed that they didn't show them to me. It mattered to rent. There came a time when I felt disappointed and discriminated against since they gave me no options.
However, I continued to insist and asked them to tell me what they had to apply for, I managed to make the application, for which I paid quite a bit of $400, to secure an apartment, this is where my torture began, the days went by and no response, the phone is never answered, I sent emails and no response.
Until we decided to go in person, and I was missing some income receipts. , I sent them and another week passed, we went again in person since the phone and email are not answered, and another employee appears for me, the most effective and efficient, who transferred her to this office in Plano, since apparently they made changes in employees.
Thanks to Miss Luciana, communication began to flow and she began to speed up the application response process. In fact, a form needed to be filled out and that is why they did not give her a response. She expedited the process that several clients were apparently behind on. I practically had a week left to move in and deliver the apartment and I still had no response, until they finally gave me a positive response to rent, but that the price had changed, practically nothing with the initial price for which I applied. I felt cheated, they play with your time, your need and vulnerability.
Although Miss Luciana tried to help me and find me an apartment after I refused to pay for an apartment with a different price than the one they had offered me, I decided to leave it like that, and not move, since as a family we made the decision, and we thought about whether it was so traumatic alone make the application, I don't want to imagine asking for maintenance.
When looking at other reviews, and realizing that they have all kinds of problems.
So keep in mind that they are slow and completely ineffective in communication. Don't insist on calling as there is no answer, voicemails not returned and emails I sent that went unanswered.
Management lacks empathy to

Update: Property reimbursed $150 for not fixing the issues on time. This is all happened after reaching to Samantha, Area VP. Credits to Samantha, Amanda.
Worst maintenance, and nobody cares even after multiple complaints. AVOID LEASING AT THIS APARTMENT. Work orders are open for months and months, nobody cares or try to fix the issues. Our refrigerator broke 6 months ago, and we lost lot of produce and meat, they never care about these kind of issues. They only care about on time rent and finding new lease signers.
