DO NOT BUY A CHRISTMAS TREE FROM HOME DEPOT!! I purchased a $350 tree in Nov 2022. It worked 1 yr which means it work for 5 weeks! I called the N Plano store at 4600 State Hwy 121, Plano, TX, 75024, and the store manager told me to call the manufacturer. I was told that they will not refund or exchange the tree because their policy is only for 90 days! How wd anyone know if a Christmas didn't work until the next year?! The store manager told me that I had to contact the manufacturer to get parts or a replacement. Well guess what? I purchased the tree on Nov 12, 2022 and the manufacturer's guarantee is for 1 year! Today is Nov 19th, so I am 1 wk outside of the warranty. I was also told to purchase a new tree by the store manager as well on the customer service employee at their 1-800 number. Really? Your first tree worked for 1 month, you don't stand behind the product you sell, and you want me to buy another tree from you! That's hysterical! I have a house full of family coming over in 3 days and the tree that I used 1 time doesn't work. UNBELIEVABLE! I've now called back to let the store manager know that the tree is out of the manufacturer's warranty by 1 week and have been place on hold by 2 different people and have waited 25 minutes without the manager picking up the line.Meanwhile, this is on Home Depot's website. Home Depot value's... "excellent customer service" and "doing the right thing"! That's downright laughable! "Doing the right thing" would be exchange a Christmas tree that has only been used once! "Excellent customer service" is not brushing someone off when the product is only used annually. I understand that policies need to be in place especially for products that are used on a continual basis, but this is a Christmas tree! A 1 star rating is not low enough based on their customer service & the lack of integrity for standing behind a defective product.

If I could give them zero stars I would..spent over 20 grand on a kitchen..long story short, they do NOT communicate well. My installation was going well until the installer informed me that the slab that held the stove was too short and would have to be fixed and installed on another day. So about a week later now, no word on when the other piece will be installed..we are a family of 8 with no stove..I was so nice and patient..they will tell you what you want to hear to rush you off the phone..DO NOT use them. The design consultant also lied about the financing promotion, she also did not answer the phone when called..

we just moved in to Prosper, TX from Illinois and had bought a Husky Tool chest online and had it delivered. However the chest had a problem wherein the upper chest was locked while the keys were still inside the chest!! Per one of our friend's suggestion we took it to the Plano location and oh boy! those guys were so helpful! There was this tall middle-aged guy who tried all possible means to get the chest opened (hardware, their repository of keys etc. etc. for almost half an hour). When nothing worked, he asked the cashier guy (Avik I think) to check if they have a similar one. they had one display one and they gladly exchanged it for the one we had!!! They could have easily drove us away and could have just returned the whole thing but we were so pleased with the amount of urgency and diligence they showed!!! 5 star guys...keep it up!

This store NEVER has manpower where it needs it. I went in at 2:00PM on a Sunday a few months ago and needed a board cut... waited for 30 mins only to find no one on duty to cut it. So I left my cart and went to Lowe's nearby and was done 15 mins. Was driving by tonight at 7:00PM and again needed a 1x4 cut. Walked in and loaded up the cart with what I needed and selected my board. 10 mins later was told no one could cut the board. I left the cart with over $100 in it and went to Lowe's and got everything there and a board cut.Don't be open if you can't serve the customer

I had never written a review to complain. But the experience has been terrible. I ordered fridge, washer and driver, but had to waited 3 weeks because the fridge is on back order. Right upon the delivery date, just emailed me another 3 weeks delay. I requested to at least send me the washer and drier and they told me I have to cancel my order to do so. Imagine a life without those things. And customer help wouldn't understand and offer any help.... If I knew this I wouldn't made any major purchases here. Cold....

Being close to my home, this is my Home Depot of choice. Friendly staff and good products (mostly) at a lower price than the nearby competition.

Don't trust the online inventory. They won't have what you need, not the people to help you find it. Horrible customer service.

Hello. I want to complain about the poor performance of your delivery service. I ordered a refrigerator on your site 10 days ago. Delivery was made on 07/16/2022, on my day off. On 07/15/22 I received a call from the delivery service 4 times and was told that the refrigerator would be delivered from 12:30-4:30. 07/16/22 at 11:55 a courier called me and said in 15 minutes they would be at my house, but at that time I was at the grocery store with the anticipation that my products would be in my new refrigerator, I was not far from home. I said and texted that I would be home in 30 minutes at 12:30. When I showed up at 12:26 p.m., parked in front of my apartment, I didn't see a truck, checked my phone, and didn't see a new voicemail message that might have been missed. As a result, the order was cancelled. I quickly checked the status of my order through the Home Depot website and saw that this delivery was missed. How is this possible? I have planned this day and I cannot understand the result that leads to this being done so quickly. I work double shifts and can't wait another week without a fridge. I bought perishable products: milk, butter, eggs, meat, fish, yogurt, now I have nowhere to put it all. I am a very busy person and I have every minute planned, I planned to be at home from 12:30 to 4:30 and I was at home all this time. I waited until Monday, hoping that customer service would resolve the problem with the late delivery of the refrigerator. But this is not how they work, the problems created by the company or the courier they hired became my problems. I have to wait for my refrigerator fully paid by me until 07.27.22 (in this heat), also on this day I work from morning until 8 pm and I can't be at home. But as they accepted, the problems they created for me have already become my problems. In 56 years of my life, I have never met such a treatment with a client. I will leave reviews in different languages so that decent people do not deal with Home Depot.

I came here looking for some faux wood blinds and pendant lights. The store was mostly clean, and laid out well. I walked around for a little bit searching for the blind isle, I didn't see any workers around that could help me find it. Once I finally reached the isle with the blinds, I was disappointed. They only had two brands of faux wood to choose from. I guess they prefer customers to buy online instead. After that, I headed over to the light section, again, not many pendant light options to choose from. The lights they did have on display were all very dusty as well. It's hard to visualize lights in your home when they are caked with thick dust. Unfortunately, I left the store without a purchase. On my way out, there was a very friendly man standing at the door thanking me for coming in. I wished he was around when I needed the help. Overall, I think this store is great if you need basic items, but for more options, you'll have to visit their store online to get what you're looking for.

Purchased items and used the curbside pickup, because I recently had surgery. Arrived, parked in a curbside parking spot, and used the app to check in. After sitting there for ten minutes I decided to go inside. SIX workers were near the front goofing around with three behind the customer service desk goofing around. Told them I had been waiting in space 2 for ten minutes. They were polite, got my name, and gave me my items. As I walked out, I looked through the bag and noticed they didn't give me my entire order. Went back to the counter and had to ask for the rest of my order. I will never go back to this Home Depot if the management can't even get their employees to do their job.

Went in this morning to pick up a delivery. I did not realize that the order read 6pm my fault entirely yes. However when I walked to the door unaware that I was too early, the Manager Kristina informed me that it was not 6. Okay fine but she had a attitude about it big time. Walked up to the door and closed it on my face. Also Yesterday I had another issue with an employee that literally said she worked there for 15 years and hated her job. My thing is this. That's twice I went to the spot and twice got s*** service. If you want to spend your money there by all means do so. But this place if you ever need service isn't the place to go. Kristina really annoyed me with the way she was acting. I am moving into a new home this month and was seriously debating if I should get my stove and oven from them. I would rather spend a few more bucks to go somewhere friendly and I recommend you do the same. Kristina is the manager by the way. So sad the way that place is being run.

Welp. This experience sucked. Bought a lovely artificial GE Alpine7.5 Fir for $540 at HomeDepot. We requested curbside pick up because consumer convenience and Home Delivery was $85. Now, I am under the impression Curbside Pick Up works as follows: 1. Buy Item 2. Wait for Your Item is Ready text msg. 3. Drive on over, park in Pick Up Spot 4. Check in Via Text 5. Wait for item to be walked over & placed in car 6. Drive home content feeling like a winner We arrive after receiving our text, check-in wait for over 30 minutes to be assisted. We were the only customers at the moment parked in these spots. My husband being the good sport he is, is not bothered by waiting but 30 min for an item that is ready, in a seemingly empty parking lot... But I decided to get down, see if there's a delay. Which I completely understand if there is. Well, I arrive at the online/curbside pick up counter encountering at least 6 gentlemen hanging out. I walk up, stand for a few more than desirable seconds and then am the first to address them. I let them know we are ready for our curbside pick up, casually saying we've checked in and are waiting to have our tree loaded. A couple of younger gentlemen, who were in charge of taking over the deliveries to the cars barely looked over. They quickly found my purchase and ever so kindly pushed the giant orange dolly towards with my tree. I stand around again, assuming they will assist with taking it to the car to load it. I finally ask "So I just take it?" Which they reply yea. I laughed and said Okay! Thanks my dudes! Appreciate it ; And proceeded to struggle with this behemoth dolly through the tightly lined home depot mazes. My husband at this point has gotten off the car to meet me. He asks the guys if they are going to load it or are just making me do it. Something is grumbled in response and they begin to deliver a small item to another car who had pulled up. I tried to avoid being a "Karen" today but I looked up their curbside pick up policies and I wasn't wrong. Stepping off the soapbox now, luckily Home Depot's are dime a dozen.

Good luck getting ANYONE to help you at this location. Even after going to the customer service counter and asking for assistance with making a copy of keys for work (since we can't do it ourselves) no one ever came. Multiple employees walked by, didn't acknowledge my existence or ask if I needed help, or if I had already been helped, despite standing next to a machine that REQUIRES an associate to operate.

Beware if you are purchasing a measurement for flooring from Home Depot!!!! Sorry this will be long, but I am trying to save potential customers the pain we went through. As so many say, I am sorry I can't leave a review lower than one star. These folks are completely ambivalent about customer service and do not honor their agreements. We purchased a floor measure to put a specific hardwood on stairs and bedroom floors. The measurement was scheduled and completed. We waited and waited and waited for our results. We tried calling but calling a Home Depot requires a huge time commitment as it takes forever to get someone on the phone who can help. After waiting over 30 minutes TWICE with no help, we decided to make the trip back to the store. The person in the flooring department said that there were no measurement results in the system (3 weeks after the measurement) but she could see the measurement was for carpet... which it was not. We were told that someone would get with us in a couple of days. When we finally got a measurement, we were told that they could not put wood put on our stairs but really couldn't explain why. I began an email back and forth with one of the associates going so far as to send him pictures of our stairs but still, no explanation. So, I asked for my money back which, of course, he could not do... only a manager can do this... so he would get the manager to contact me. The manager, Justin, called me and had no idea what our situation was. He left a message asking when we wanted to complete the job. I called back and talked to someone else and explained that we didn't want the job completed but, instead, wanted our money back. Justin called again still with no idea of why I had contacted them as he asked when we wanted to compete the job. After explaining the situation again, he told me today, over a month after placing the order at the store for a specific wood that you can't put that kind of wood on stairs but we could put laminate. I explained that this was never shared with us and now, after a month of waiting, at least 5 hours of our time taken on the phone and in the store, I would just like my money back for the measure. Justin continually repeated that they "typically" don't refund service payments. I shared with him that I do not feel this is typical and that I have been a customer for years and would just like my money back. No go. He kept offering to send me the measurements for the work he would not perform. I asked Justin if it was really worth alienating a long-term customer over $35 dollars. Again, he told me it wasn't typical to refund the money. How sad that a company as large as Home Depot is willing to lose a customer over $35. Justin certainly didn't care. Really, it's not about the money. We will be just fine without the $35. The lack of caring, integrity and compassion for us as customers is just appalling. After I told Justin that I would just dispute the charge on my credit card, he said, "Okay" and hung up the phone. And that is why I will never shop at the Plano Home Depot again. Hope this review saved someone else the frustration we went through.

Quite extensive equipment repertoire available.
