My reservation for mobile pickup was not ready, had to call truck share 24/7 to make another reservation when I had originally done it beforehand but unfortunately I was still a struggle to get the truck. I had to settle for a smaller truck. Very disappointed with the interaction.

That how i paid for uhaul employees to load my vehicle with trap tires.(22 dollar for trap the tire). Traps is not trap to tires. (Maybe, i dont buy insurance for towing dolley)I call them back and they said they already trap tire secured.I dont know my axles will bend or not because they secured like pictures.

I booked 2 U-boxes to move from Dallas to CA. When I booked and for the last two weeks it was confirmed to be delivered in CA in December 6 (3 weeks and 2 days after they were picked up in Dallas). After I scheduled movers, etc to unload the boxes on 12/6. Thursday I got an email saying the boxes wouldn't be here until 12/7. Today I got another saying they would now be here on 12/11. They may be cheap but they will hold your stuff hostage. Your contract doesn't mean squat!!! NEVER U-HAUL AGAIN!!!

If I could give a lower review I would. The worst bunch and mostly scammers. They try to give you wrong checkout dates so you are charged more. When you complain they say ooops you should not listen to us check your contract next time. Like what sort of scammers are they?

The East Plano team was awesome from initial contact when picking up the truck to dropping it off a few hours later. It’s nice working with “20 somethings” who actually know what they’re doing, care, and can communicate. This is a direct reflection on the management of this facility. Thanks for making the whole process of renting a truck an enjoyable experience!

Excellent service - I did a one way move from Colorado and the dispatching team in Colorado messed up the return location. Despite being incorrect in the system, the team at this location worked hard to be able to allow me to return the trailer and ultimately succeeded, despite being close to closing time. Their efforts are much appreciated.

I've just had the worst rental experience of my life here. Knowing that I had a problem with the wiring to hook up a trailer, I went a hitch specialist and got that fixed last week. But when I went to pick up the trailer I'd reserved, there was still I problem. It was the end of the day, but I told two employees I'd get it fixed in the morning, and be back.It took too long to get it fixed, but that's not U-Haul's fault.What is their fault was that when I got back, with five trailers like the one I'd reserved in their lot, including the exact one that was on my contract, they told me they didn't have any trailers available, that all those were reserved by others. They were quite un-concerned when I pointed out that I had had a prior reservation, and they'd given it away without even calling me. They offered no solution, took no responsibility, and really didn't seem to care about helping me.If I didn't perform my contractual obligations, they would enforce them. I'll be looking into what recourse I might have to enforce the contract myself.This used to be my favorite U-Haul place. Never again! Avoid.

There are two areas needing improvement.First, the web site only mentioned a charge of $19.95 plus a per mileage charge of $0.69 (this mileage fee equates to at least $13.80 per gallon of gasoline...which is okay...it is profit. However, the site never mentioned I had to also pay for the gasoline used. Consequently, it was a shock when the contract stated I had to replenish the consumption of gasoline to avoid excessive charges. There would not be any dissatisfaction, if the web site clearly stated consumption of gasoline had to be replenished.The second area of dissatisfaction was poor customer service skills. When the young man, (mid-twenties years of age), initially greeted me, he spoke so fast in a low tone without articulating his words; I asked him to repeat himself four times. He also had an attitude as if I was an annoyance. The young man quickly explained the contract, which indicated the rented vehicle had a half tank of gasoline. When I accessed the vehicle the fuel gage indicated three-eighths tank of gasoline, which was a contract error. I returned to the service counter to rectify the error. The young man said, "I just sent you a text. Click on the link to correct the error!” I said, "Why should I clink on a link...jump through hoops to correct your error?" Note, he never told me about this link at the sales counter, prior to accessing the vehicle. This important onerous link puts the burden on customers to correct any fuel, mileage, and vehicle condition errors prior to driving. Quality customer service does not make customers do what should be the responsibility of UHAUL employees. Nevertheless, my dissatisfaction is based on the young man not informing me the purpose of this significant link when he issued the paper contract.

I usually never leave reviews, but this place is SO horrible and disgusting and they're BEYOND rude. I feel I should share this so that nobody else wastes money here. I moved in last year to an outside unit, and within 2 months they had a rat infestation!! I had rat feces ALL OVER MY PROPERTY as did the unit next door to me. They refused to give us a refund of any kind and refused to move us to a different unit while they figure out THIER infestation problem. After throwing away $800+ worth of property and transferring to a smaller unit, I STILL have rat shit!! Personally, I think there is NO WAY they could pass any sort of health code here. They don't work with you in anyway to accommodate your business with them but will put a lock on your unit faster than a fat kid getting seconds at a buffet! DO NOT GIVE THEM BUSINESS!
