This review is for Selvije and is not reflective of the rest of the store staff. (Guest services review after) I came in for a consultation and asked if it was possible to go full blonde, knowing full well it might not be possible because of existing highlights and red in my hair. She told me yes, but not platinum and I booked a color correction. I said, and we both very much agreed, that my hair health was more important than being blonde. I wanted my hair to be one color (or at least close to it). I should’ve known something was up when she started highlighting, but I “trusted the process” SHE PUT BLEACH ON ALREADY LEVEL 9 BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS AND MELTED MY HAIR OFF. She left the bleach on for well over 45 minutes on my fine, thin color treated hair. SHE KNEW IT WAS DAMAGED AND LET IT KEEP PROCESSING. She literally pulled a piece off of my hair and thought I didn’t notice. And didn’t say a word to me about it.
Then she put a strong ash toner on my hair AND TURNED THE HIGHLIGHTS GREEN.
Still, no owning up to her mistake yet.
Then, she rushes me out of the salon after I say it’s striped and green and tells me she doesn’t have time for me because her next client is there.
She melted so much of my hair and it is well beyond repair. And she didn’t even own up to her mistake(s). And my hair isn’t even a different color, I literally could’ve saved money and gotten the same results by dumping hydrogen peroxide on it. Look at the length difference between the left and right front pieces.
Guest services are absolutely useless. I’ve called and texted so many times since April (it’s June 30 now) and the only thing they will say to you is “yea we escalated it to the store liaison.” And then nothing. Crickets. No email confirmation, no claim number, no claim representative, NOTHING. By the way, the supervisor of guest services doesn’t know anything either. Won’t help you, won’t give you the number to this mythical “store liaison” , won’t transfer you unless you absolutely insist, and claims not to have any knowledge whatsoever about this “liaison”.
ULTA WILL ALLOW INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES TO RUIN YOUR HAIR AND THEN BLOW YOU OFF.

Just left this store and couldn't wait to get in the car to write this review. I'm not a big makeup person, pretty clueless about what all is needed, but wanted to get waterproof mascara, at a minimum, for my daughter's wedding. Wandered around, completely overwhelmed till Nidya, the store manager, stopped to ask me if I was ok. She then proceeded to answer all my questions, show me products that I could use, give me advice on how to apply the makeup, and even considered what was on sale for my needs. Was in and out of there without feeling like an idiot. I cannot thank you enough. Thank you for taking the time to help me and avoid an hour of guessing and buying the wrong thing. I'm excited to go home and try some things out. You gave me confidence to feel like I can look my best on this important day without making a mess of my makeup. I really appreciate it. Highly recommend this store and Nidya. She obviously knows her products and how to tailor them to her customers.

Went to pick up an order, when I did the person who was there said it wasn’t ready but will be ready in few mins, I didn’t mind waiting and I wandered around a bit. When I came back to the counter in few mins the order was ready and the person handed over and said only thing is you just check and confirm, while I was taking a look and was about to respond all good, she just went away. Like why do you even ask when you don’t even care about the response. That was rude. I would rather prefer firewheel and coit road Ulta, so welcoming staff they have.

I always go to this Ulta for my makeup needs. the staff is super friendly and helpful. they have a great selection and are pretty well stocked

The older lady that works there with the bun, hoops, and dark makeup is super rude! Would not unlock bathroom (with code) when I asked nicely. Bad attitude, and seemed like she was being petty for no reason. Learn how to be kind:)

Big shout out to Roneisha!
I popped into this location late on a rainy Tuesday to grab one thing and take a good look around but was pleasantly surprised with how chill the atmosphere was here. There were hardly any customers (I guess because of the rain) which made it feel like I had the whole place to myself and I noticed the employees were more relaxed as well which is always nice. Roneisha helped check me out and truly made this a visit to remember! She complimented a lip color I tried on in store, helped me redeem my birthday reward, and was just all around very personable. She took her time with me and simply made me feel appreciated. I look forward to visiting this location again. :)

Selvije is amazing. She is such a wonderful caring human being, and it shows in the treatment and the kindness and the time and patience that she spends with her clients. She is amazing. I would highly recommend her. You will be very well taken care of, thank you. Selvije for all you do.

NO clue what these reviews are talking about, general manager brieseda (i’m sorry if i misspelled your name) but she was amazing. i came here a few days ago and i felt so bad bc i didn’t have my receipt but she took her time to go through my very large amount of purchase history😭. but she was so sweet and patient. she’s amazing and so is this entire store. loooove how clean it is too omg.

Mangers, GM. Please look into yalls Lead, Briseida. Her attitude is unprofessional and rather distasteful. She is incapable of acknowledging and complying with Ulta Beauty’s regulations, as she is unnecessarily refusing to provide satisfactory guest service.

Just left this Ulta store. I have never been before in any one of their stores where no one’s approached me before. This was the first time in my whole Ulta experience, that I ended up returning back in place what I already had in my shopping bag.And I wasn’t the only one In there that was wandering/looking around that wasn’t approached either. So it wasn’t about being black or white.This was my very first time coming into this branch because it was the closest to my new residence and I think it will also be my last time. I’d rather go to the farther ones like Northpark or Coit, where I’ve always had a wonderful welcoming experience.
