This store is clean but that's about it for pros. I was hoping to make this my neighborhood store as we just moved into the area. I was blown away how rude the employees were. One produce man completely ignored me when I spoke to him -I tried again, scowl and no response. The woman at the checkout when I asked if I could give her my phone number for rewards card huffed and rolled her eyes. I said "is there something else I can do because I don't have my actual card?" She rudely said "all you have to do is type it in on the keyboard" I told her I'd do that next time. But there won't be a next time. Part of a neighborhood store for me is seeing happy smiling customer oriented people who love their jobs and are willing to help with anything. In addition, I know all prices are high right now but these prices don't beat Kroger. And I went in twice and no one was at the fresh meat dept. and no bell or any way to let someone know you're there. This store is literally 2 mins from my house. So disappointed. One bright light was Pia in produce. She is from Columbia and was so sweet and helpful. If I am desperate and need something super quick, I'll run in and grab it there. But as for shopping for over an hour for the week for just me and my husband and spending $300 with disgruntled angry workers - no that wont happen again.

What is going on with the way this location smells now??? The last month and a half or so it smells so bad (literally just like straight urine) I have to hold back from throwing up every time I come in there...which isn't great for a place that's mostly for buying food.

The Assistant manager, Ken asked me to leave the store because I haD my emotional support dog with me, a 15 lb Terrier. I've shopped in the store for years, always with my ESA. Ken comes across as an arrogant know it all, he never asked me for my certification, pulled out his phone to Google info as if he was going to school me on something. I will never set foot in TT again. That was my favorite store.

Love all the peeps that work here. Well, all the staff that I had talked to, from the front to the cashier. They are enough to represent the whole store!! Great job, Manager! I had so many questions and requests that I found myself to be a pain on the butt but the staffs here were very helpful and friendly. Keep it up, team! You're all so awesome! And I usually don't review grocery stores. I am just so impressed with their services here that I don't mind sitting in my car, in their parking lot writing this review!

Please hire people that care. My cashier was Raiah and she was horrible. Nobody was at her register so I went to her. She was openly on the phone. I just stood there and once she saw me she just put her phone down and started to ring me up. She never acknowledged me or asked how my day was....it was an awkward silence so I went out of my way and asked how her day was. She just said fine and looked back down. Once she was done ringing me up, she never even told me the total just waited for me to pay. She grabbed the receipt and just handed it to me without telling me anything. So I said I hope you have a good night and just walked off. Horrible attitude. I came in around 9. Again, please hire people that actually care about the customers

I would like to recognize one of your employees at store 1788 (the name on my receipt states SHANKISTA was my cashier).
Shankista is a cashier but she is so much more than that.. every time she has checked me out, I have found her to be upbeat, friendly and actually enjoying her job helping customers.
On 2/1/22 at 12:28 pm, she was my cashier and I had purchased almost $270 worth of groceries. She asked me if I'd like help to my car and, when no one else seemed to jump at the opportunity.. she had another employee take her spot as cashier and SHE helped me take my groceries to my car. She is a wonderful employee (and human being) and I ask that you recognize her as such! Thank you!

Fire Hannah Stanley. I heard she happens to be team member. Walked up to me when I didn't know that you folks close at 11pm. It was 11:06 and said all registered are closed. Literally lies to me and when I said I'm so sorry that I didn't know. Yes all registers are closed and I'm going to tell that guy too, yet she walked opposite direction. When I said oops i have already opened and drank out of a sugar free sprite since I was diabetic. She rolls her eyes and said out of anger and rudeness- Happy Thanksgiving and it's on the house. So I happen to see another lady and said I would like to pay for this/ I asked what the lady who doesn't know how to conversation to the the Customer and lies openly and she always rudely when I was even talking with her. Corporate is about to get a call this Friday. Folks this is very unacceptable and I would like to have the general manager of Tom Thumb for Alma and Hedgecox call to call me or reach out to me.

My previous review was 2 stars given out of frustration. Let me elaborate. Tom Thumb was founded by a family in the early 1900s. Over decades it was built into a top notch grocer and go too for premium products in Dallas. Based on a solid foundation of family values, exceptional products and superior customer service,Tom Thumb continued to grow and expand in the DFW area. Then they were purchased by Safeway from the family in 1999. They were smart enough to leave a good thing alone. Tom Thumb continued to impress with top quality products and service until that dark day in 2015 when Albertsons came calling. Albertsons must have surmised Tom Thumb was too big for their britches and began breaking this great organization. It's been hard to watch. I've ridden the ups and downs over the last five years, keeping the store in my rotation. However, I am now close to done. They continue to have great meat and sale prices on certain items. Until that changes, I selectively stop in. Otherwise, they're toast. RIP Tom Thumb

The lady she works inside the pharmacy in this location is the worst I have ever seen, she is very discriminatory and rude to me. I won't go shopping in this location again.

I would like to recognize Jericho Robinson who helped me with my groceries on April 11th at the self check out. He displayed professionalism and was helpful. He deserves a raise and promotion.

This location is the worst regarding customer service. Rude and dismissive young people checking and sacking groceries. It's well worth your time to drive an additional mile or two to avoid such unprofessional and juvenile delinquent behavior.
