I came up here to get propane in a tank we had. However they refused to give me propane without now not having a truck or trailer only!! I'm very upset as I do not have access to a truck or trailer. They have done it for me before however now they won't. I'm confused are they trying to run a business or lose business. This is discounting. Making it harder for people to get what they need.

Just went for propane. Charged us 40.00 for 4 lbs of gas. It's 2.99 a gallon. Ripped us seniors off. You should be ashamed of yourself. Charged my neighbor 8.00 for same amount. She sent us there. She also said how sorry she was as to recommend them.

I've been a happy customer of Texas Star Propane service for several months now, but I was regretful about where I originally decided to set the tank. After much research on work arounds, I concluded that the best solution was to move the tank, but the weather would not cooperate. Ground moisture conditions were finally right today after a long rainy period, and a Texas Star Propane rep came out to move our tank. The equipment on the Texas Star Propane truck is impressive. The truck has everything needed to do a tank transplant in one trip, including a crane boom, ditch digger and all the required fittings to make the connection to my dwelling. Zac was able to put the tank exactly where I wanted it. He set the tank, leveled the tank, buried the propane supply line, made all the proper connections, leak tested, and checked that all appliances and propane users worked before he departed. The job was a little more difficult in my situation because there were other buried utilities in the vicinity; but he asked me if there were any buried lines in the area, and then he was able to work around them without trouble. He was so kind to answer all my nerdy questions, and let me watch him do the job. I'm very happy with the end result!

Texas Star is NOT the company it once was and founded on. I have been a customer for many years and the service has gotten AWEFUL!!! I had my own 500 gal tank but when it got too old to have any more repairs, I had to have it replaced. I am not on SS only and had to resort to leasing a tank from Texas Star. They told me I was a keep full customer but when they installed the new tank, no paperwork was given me for that contract. So guess what happened the 1st night of the BAD freeze last year? Yeah, you guess it...I ran out of propane because they said it was a "will call" customer. Fast forward a year, and now I am a "keep full" customer, meaning they are supposed to come by and fill my tank without me having to call them, last week I noticed the 2nd day of the freeze, I was at 20%. I thought surely they would come. 2 days later I checked and now I'm at less than 10%. That was Friday. I called and was told I would get delivery either Fri evening or Sat....NOTHING ALL WEEKEND. I even called Sat to see if I was still on a route but no one was courteous enough to return my v/m to even let me know if I was or not. Monday a.m. (today) I call and yes, I will get delivery today. 2 p.m. I called again, and was told "the driver knows you are to get delivery today. The office closes at 5 but they will still be working." I had to leave at 4:00 for an engagement and when I returned at 9:00 p.m., my tank is STILL EMPTY!!!! It's COLD (65 degrees) in my house and there has been NO call saying "we're sorry, we'll be there tomorrow" or ANYTHING...just tough it out! THESE PEOPLE SUCK!!!!!! And as soon as I can make other arrangements, they can come get their stupid tank and shove it up their @--!!!

Tried my best not to leave a bad review but after emailing, leaving a voicemail, and leaving a message with a nice lady (I give her 5 stars) who answered the phone nobody has gotten back with me.Texas Star came out and serviced our generator on a property I manage. Some time goes by and I notice the red light on for our generator. I lift the lid to look why and the oil cap where you fill it with oil was off and missing. The generator had thankfully kicked itself off from a low oil alarm. I called and scheduled another oil change/maintenance appointment because the motor had been exposed to moisture, bugs, etc. since they last came out. The tech came out and filled the generator with oil to the correct level. While doing this he told me that the oil caps vibrate off and Generac generators have a history of doing this. I am pretty mechanical and have never heard of an oil cap rattling off if it was properly installed the first time especially. He then ran the generator and checked the electrical system to ensure it ran when needed. Then he said he will change the oil filter and it'll be good to go. I asked him if he thought it was a halfway job to not drain the old oil (the little that was left after they left the cap off the first time they came out). He told me that draining the oil was not necessary since it had already burnt it all out. He applied the new oil filter and left.I understand a business may have a bad employee that causes issues like these so I wanted to bring it to management's attention but nobody reached back out to me.Bad generator service and bad customer service here.

This is the place to go to!! They do everything from the installation to getting the propane take set up. All I had to do was pay them at the end which I may say was very reasonable. Please give them a call first before you try anyone else!!

Texas propane customer service is very good. The field service group is exceptional. We had a leak in our main propane line to the house caused by a previous contractor and Texas Propane came out, found it and repaired it in one day. Thank you for having great employees. We will be a loyal customer for years to come.

The office staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with us and every single person who came to the house(I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names) were friendly and professional. We had a propane tank installed and then a generator. I highly recommend Texas Star Propane to anybody who would need their service. I even referred my dad to them and he got a generator as well.

Our experience with Texas Star Propane was great. From installing our propane tank to starting our service everything was exceptional. They did a great job of initializing our service and checking all appliances for leaks. Our technician Garrett was super to work with. I highly recommend Texas Star Propane.
