This place closed down during COVID. I celebrated my 22nd birthday here, I loved it.

This place was great but I ended up forgetting the code to get back in and I didn't have a phone to call the number on the gate to be able to get back into my cabin. Feeling very blessed that I was able to scale the wall to get in when no one was able to get a hold of anyone to give me the code .so people don't forget your codes.

Amazing! Ok as a property manager I am picky, the staff is SO friendly! I love using the outdoor showers and private bathrooms instead of having bathrooms inside. Best place we have stayed in Port A. So much fun, highly recommended

The bungalows are clean and spacious. Window AC takes a little while to kick in once you check in but worked great for us overnight. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of great hangout areas around the camp with chairs, games, murals, and lights. Nice pool. They give you bath and pool towels to use. Short drive down the street right onto the beach. Restaurants within walking distance.

Great place. Bathrooms could be cleaned up a little better but overall I enjoyed the little huts and having foster their for anything you need made it all better. Would stay again just for the hospitality.

Stayed a few nights with my girlfriend and we had a great time. Everything was pretty clean and the staff was super nice. Not too far from the beach and parking wasn't too bad either. We will def be back next year.

I was extremely impressed with Camp Coyoacan! This will forever be my “go to home” when I visit Port A. Very clean and spacious bungalow! The beds were so comfortable! It was great having a mini fridge. The AC unit kept the room very cool. There are plenty of electrical outlets in the room. There was even a table and chair in the room. And two windows! The room was perfect!!The campground itself is also amazing! There are picnic tables, outdoor chairs, a fire pit, BBQ pits, outdoor games, free coffee and water. A very nice clean pool. The showers/bathroom were very well stocked and clean. Plenty of towels provided. The observation deck was the perfect place to take beautiful pics of the sunset! The coded entry made me feel safe and secure. Shout out to Foster for being so wonderful and giving us a great tour of the facility and making us feel welcome!BRAVO ? ? ? all the way around. ??❤️????❤️!

I will give the timeline of my experience. 1. The price of our stay was very reasonable, i was actually hesitant because the price was so good! So that's what got us to book.2. When we got there it was very clean and the setup was very cozy. Again, I wasn't so sure about the place because it was setup like camp. Once we walked through the doors I totally understood what they were going for. That's what made me enjoy the environment. 3. What really set our experience apart from others was the guy named FOSTER! He took care of our every need. I felt like there wasn't anything he would tell us no for. I felt like I owned the place. He is the reason WE WILL COME BACK!!! God job team Coyoacan!

This is more like a hostel. The rooms/tents were clean. The shared bathrooms/showers were reasonably clean. Free wifi. There is a small pool. Landscaping could use some work as well as maintenance around the place. Over all it was okay. Not sure if I would stay here again, but that is more because of the creature comforts I want rather than anything they did.

When you wake up sun burnt not sun kissed actually not even kissed...BUT you had one of the BEST sleeps in a LONG time! The beds were soooo cozy! Lots of you messaged me saying you love @camp.coyoacan located in @portatexas !That was awesome to hear and I appreciate you sharing your love! Here is my recap and review (which are my personal preferences/opinions) We paid for our stay if that helps! The bestie and I decided to skip a hotel and try something different, so we stayed @camp.coyoacan . It is super close to the beach. We stayed in a LARGE tent bungalow which included a queen sized bed, twin bed, the cutest mini fridge, a desk and chair. YES the tent bungalows have air conditioning via a wall unit (and it's sooo nice and cold but you can adjust temp.) No TV but that's OK because y'all are on your phones anyway lol. Electric outlets are inside the tents. So here is something, I've never experienced before but knew prior to booking, the restrooms are communal. Private restrooms (vanity, toilet, shower) split between 2 buildings. The only downside was per the reviews, restrooms were described as surprisingly clean (but to us they were a little neglected) nothing a little Scrubbing Bubbles couldn't fix but that's what flip flops are for. Towels are provided! We loved the heated pool and the upstairs deck. @camp.coyoacan offers coffee and water as well. There are firepits, picnic tables, seating areas available. Small & Large tent bungalows and 2 Yurts are available. Sorry friends, pets sre not allowed! *Pro tip: if you book via @airbnb you can book single nights! If you go through their website there is a 2 night minimum. Craig our host is listed on @airbnb as a SUPER HOST. Our stay was very quiet and we weren't disturbed. The property could use a little TLC but maybe that's the look they are going for, overall we enjoyed our stay!

Me and my husband arrived on Sunday and we left Tuesday. Great location walking distance from beach and restaurants/bar. This would be a great location for a family Vacation/Reunions. I'll be definitely coming back but with my whole family and plus.

I stayed here a few years ago, I absolutely loved this place. Wasn’t familiar with Google reviews At that time so I did not leave one. However I’m about to get some time off and this was the first place I thought of and I can’t wait to get back here, just an amazing clean and friendly place! A breath of fresh air! I’ve never stayed anywhere like this ? thank y’all so much. One more thing, I just remembered. There’s a Catholic Church 1/8 of a mile away. I go to daily Mass so this was unbelievably great!!!

Me and my wife loved this place. We originally were only going to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 2 more days and the staff didn't have an issue with it. They were very helpful. It's so close to the beach. The rooms were great bigger than I expected, the restrooms were clean which included a shower in each stall. The location is not only great for the beach, but their are a couple good restaurants no more than a 5 min walk away.

If I could rate this place a ZERO I absolutely would! First impressions are everything and the staff (Elena )and who we were told was the owner, Foster ( only to come to find out he was just a cousin to owner) horrible horrible customer service. Took absolutely NO responsibility for an error that was made on their behalf. Probably a blessing in disguise. The camp ground looked dirty and unkept. If you want to be treated just as bad as the property looks book fast! But I wouldn't waste my time nor money
