Customer service is great. Pretty expensive for a grocery store but not much to choose from in the area. Good quality and helpful workers.

I really love this store .. they have everything you need while on vacation and it's always stocked full. I really wish this store was in my hometown. HEB is good but I'm tired of them pushing their brands down my throat and not giving me the name brand choices like this place. I may be a bit different but I will pay the $ difference for the better item. Please don't let HEB on the island

A surprisingly good grocery store for a little town! And, honestly, you can find a great selection of t-shirts, hats & souvenirs there too! Staff is super friendly and willing to point out whatever it is you're looking for. Glad we found it!

This is the only full-service grocery store on the island. Its old but serves its purpose. We have been shopping here for years, and for a smaller grocery store, there is nothing we haven't been able to find. Plenty of sunscreen, towels, and other beach stuff and souvenirs. The produce section is not that big, but usually packed with a wide variety of very fresh fruits and vegetables. Likewise, in dairy (including eggs), a wide variety and stocked fresh daily. Beef, chicken and pork are plentiful.Great beer selection in the back, along with a decent selection of wine as well. And for us Texans who know what it is, there's always plenty of Blue Bell on hand. If you're not a Texan, and don't know what Blue Bell is, your loss! LOL JK! Blue Bell is just the best ice cream on the planet made here in Texas, Brenham, Texas to be exact. Get you some of that!If you're on the island, and don't fancy a 30-minute drive to get to another grocery store, mosey on into the Family Center IGA Food Store to do your provisioning! Recommend it!

Pretty Good Mom & Pop grocery, higher prices on some items but for a beach area grocery store in a small town not bad. Should look at their ad for better value items.Grabbed a $1.99 croissant breakfast egg bacon sandwich which was plastic wrapped and kind of dry by 8am. Starbucks Bottled Frappe, 2 Litter Sodas, in line for pricing. Lunch meat seemed a little higher but not outrageous. Friendly staff in general.

It possesses a wealth of essentials. Quality brands, amiable attendants, and a commendable selection of goods. While the price point leans toward the upper end, it's reasonable given the smaller scale of this grocer. The quality of the meats, however, could stand some improvement. It radiates a charming small-town aura and offers an array of intriguing items worth perusing. Personally, as a time traveler with a penchant for grocery shopping, I find smaller stores like this one quite enjoyable.

Good parking spaces. Big grocery store. We bought fried chicken that was delicious. All prices are little up price but that is to be expected due the convenience of location. Everybody was so friendly. With the exception of an elder cashier in the first register. That lady was so rude both times we when there. So we decided to look for some other cashier to pay. They have a lot of products and variety that you don't lack any need.Very good store.

This place is disgusting out dated foods and goods overpriced and dirty as heck. The case at the deli is absolutely vile dirt grease dust tape it's all up there not to mention twice I've Ben there seen rats in the produce and roches in the little trinket spot as soon as I walk in to the left ???. HEB needs to be here and give the good people of port Aransas a real store that actually keeps clean and gives back to people and community not cost them an arm and a leg.

Like many other people have said, it's expensive. But checker, Jada, had a heavy finger, double charged us on the two most expensive items. We didn't realize it until we started unloading it. So be careful and watch, she can't be the only one doing it. Her nor the bagger was very friendly. Neither was smiling or greeted us friendly.

Has what you need when in Port A. The staff is friendly and helpful. Pretty good selection for a small store. You can find most of what may be missing from your condo rental or what you forgot to bring in the way of groceries.
